We had standard double rooms which were stylish, clean, modern and had very comfortable beds. The location is also great, just outside a bridge which takes you right in to the old town. The parking garage is a bit tight for a big car ( BMW X5) but they checked which car we were coming in and allocated us an appropriate space which was great as parking near the old town is hard to come by.

The standard rooms only have double beds so our request for two single beds was not fulfilled and this had not been made clear to us in the previous communications. They did provide us with two seperate duvets after we pointed this out. Also note there is no lift and one of our rooms had a spiral staircase (207)- it was a lovely room but if you have restricted mobility / lots of luggage it would not be a good room.

The historic hotel’s location is very close to the old town. The room was comfortable and the bathroom luxurious and updated with a large shower. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful. The included breakfast buffet was wonderful: a wide array of breads, cheeses, meats, scrambled eggs, yogurt and fruit. There is a hotel bar and lovely courtyard.

The wing housing my room was accessible only by a stairway and did not have an elevator. Another hotel wing is served by an elevator. The property should inform guests in advance of that situation. I would have much preferred elevator access to my room and some folks would require it due to physical limitations. The situation needs to be made clear when booking the hotel.

Exquisite hotel situated in a prime location in Little Venice. We stayed for 3 nights but wish we had booked for the whole week, it was super comfortable, spotlessly clean, spacious rooms, bathrobe, slippers and Nuxe toiletries, all added to our stay. The staff greeted us with a warm welcome and were super helpful, friendly and professional! We would have no hesitation in booking this hotel when we return to Colmar!

We could not fault the hotel at all! We have stayed in many locations around the world and to be honest, for a small hotel, this was one of the best.

The hotel has a perfect location - just few meters to "Little Venice" and all main attactions are easily accessible and at a walking distance. The breakfast was exceptional - a great variety of freshly baked bread, french cheese, croissants, artisant yoghurt, cereals etc. The ladies on the reception were very helpful and always ready to support with whatever need or request you have. There's no big parking at the hotel and this could be a challenge for you if you are travelling by car (as we did) so I want to recommend the public parking "Montagne verte" which is few minutes walking distance from the hotel - and actually the price we paid for two days was lower compared to the one offered by the hotel :). Definitely we'll be back!

The wi-fi was not really OK but could be because of the room - we were on the last floor, in the old part of the building. Just a note: not all rooms are accessible by elevator so keep it in mind if you have heavy luggage or any mobility issues.

The hotel was fantastic, great location and lovely room. Staff were attentive and helpful, spoke great English. The courtyard bar area was lovely on an evening for a drink and snack.

The only thing that needed fixing was the shower, which leaked out of the door, because some sealant was missing from the bottom of the door. Which meant we had to use additional towels to soak up the water. Not a big issue, just something to note.

Great location! Extremely helpful staff - especially front desk (if I return it will be due to them). Front desk was super helpful in telling me about where to go on Alsace Wine Road. Some of them are very knowledgeable. Front desk was also very helpful during check-in and finding place for parking.

Missing more vegetarian options for breakfast. Need complimentary water in the room or water dispenser to fill bottle before leaving. Front desk to be uniformly more knowledgeable about events and locations. Parking - please clarify on booking.com that there is limited hotel property parking and customer should call to book parking else it causes confusion.

The location of the hotel was fantastic and you get the feeling of quality as soon as you walk in. And the breakfast was also great. The staff were very friendly and polite.

We stayed in a different building directly opposite the normal location of the hotel, although it was not specified before. This was as clean and beautiful as the main building, but there was a problem with the heating system of our room. Fortunately, the staff solved the problem by providing an additional mobile heater.

The location, the room itself and the staff were really great! Pet-friendly hotel where they do care about your stay and really do their best to fulfil your special requests (although we understand that it can't be guaranteed). We stayed with a young kid, didn't take a crib as we knew that he would ask to sleep with us anyway, so we didn't want to keep the space for nothing))) The bed was really big and comfy, pillows as well. The room itself was spacious and clean. We didn't take breakfast as in the area there are many places for breakfast (especially food market which is very close to the hotel) where one can find nice food and try something different every day. However be ready for the challenge caused by a weird schedule of all these places, and it is not only on Sunday, but also Monday and Tuesday... So maybe our life could be easier if we had taken breakfast at the hotel. The hotel breakfast zone looks nice and cozy, there is a charming yard where one can chill with a glass of wine or a cup of a hot drink in a rainy day. There is a public parking just next to the hotel, the price for the day is more or less the same as for a private spot which you may reserve with the hotel in advance.

The hotel parking is really tiny and tight. We wanted to park the car there first, but after an accident with the wall we decided to leave the car outside (Tesla Model Y). Our car is not that big, but is not small either. There was only one free spot where it was almost impossible to park... but we kept trying... Well, it is more our fault of course as we had to consider the risks at once when we saw the parking. So now we have to fix the car ((. But we said to each other at once that this situation shouldn't affect our holiday and general impression and I am happy that it didn't :)

To our surprise, the hotel was only just opened (2 weeks prior our arrival) after a 6 month renovation of the whole hotel. The rooms were designed in a warm modern manner, soft colors, everything was new, the beds, towels supplies, what was there to complain about...nothing. It was all new, clean and beautiful. The lobby had ample tables and comfortable chairs in which to read or have breakfast indoors or out in the patio. The hotel was within walking distance of all the tourist sites but on a quiet street. Our room faced the street and we heard no noises at night. Staff were professional and friendly, clearly happy to work in the new Building. We will definitely return.

We only have one suggestion. The shower bath tub combination, which had wonderful water pressure, often made the window area wet. If some way that ledge could be angled downward, the water wouldn't collect there.

The entrance at Xmas time is simply special, the cosy lounge area was inviting for the family to sit in and to top it off the complimentary hot chocolate and coffee was a lovely touch. The rooms are fantastic, all with their own individual decor. Breakfast was great with a huge variety and finally the staff were all very helpful and accommodating. Location was terrific. The whole experience was truly fantastic.

We should have stayed longer.
