Brand new, excellent finish, staff were fantastic. Still a quiet part of town.

Rooms were hot, struggled to keep the temp down otherwise fantastic. Unfortunately did not have a sea view but many do.

We were positively surprised by the facilities and the breakfast.

We did get a lot of noise from the local bars, making it hard to sleep. Also, we were stopped by the reception on the way in to be asked in a non-friendly tone "if she could help us" and we responded in a friendly tone "no, thank you". But she persisted, "can I help you" and we said that we were staying here, by which she seemed a bit surprised. It was a pretty bad experience to be assumed that we did not fit in at the hotel. We might not wear the usual "rich person" clothes, but we paid for our stay and getting judged like this was not a very nice experience.

First of all, a BIG "thank you" to Lisa, who gave us an upgrade upon arrival and who also rescued us when we didn't manage to leave our room, which was basically our fault as we didn't push down the doorhandle hard enough ;-) Also a big shout out to the cook, who not only created a magnificant breakfast buffet but also made a brilliant evening dinner! For me, as a celiac, it is important to have glutenfree bread and to know what I can and can't eat. this was no problem at all, as I was served glutenfree bread and as all the allergenes were shown on little cards on the breakfastbuffet. As the hotel had only opened very recently it was great to notice that everything ran smoothly!

We booked a junior suite at the hotel. The rooms are located in several seperate building spread out on a beautiful deck. The room itself was gorgeous, had everything we needed. The beds were super. Bathroom was massive and very nice. View from the room was nice. Breakfast was delicious.

We had a room on street level so people would walk pass our room and look inside since there were no curtains, the blinds didn’t work for us. At night you could open a window but someone from outside could just step into the room, didn’t feel safe so we kept it closed.

Beautiful, very new, luxury hotel in a superb, historic little Lofoten fishing village. The hotel staff were so kind and helpful. Lisa in particular was kind and attentive, anticipating our needs and offering positive and generous advice and guidance.

There were a few too many bright lights left on at night which I could understand in general except on a small village where visitors are keen to see the northern lights.

The plumpest bedding was like sleeping on a cloud! Modern & Stylish Large shower room with luxury amenities Service at dinner was delightful - greek lady made conversation with me & told me all about Henningsvaer

Breakfast could have been better considering Dinner was 10/10 States no parking on booking.com but there was a row of spaces for guests of the hotel (should advertise this!)

Amazing! The hotel just opened the doors but all the detail were in place. Personalized check in, attentive staff were available throughout the whole stay. The room was comfortable and spacious with an amazing view, giving a real sense of Luxury. This is without doubt the place to stay at when in Lofoten!

Everything, We were lucky in getting a free room upgrade, but beyond this the hotel was super clean, the staff very helpful on any request, food (breakfast and dinner) of very high quality. All for a super reasonable price for Norway standards. Strongly advise, henningsvaer also a very nice spot to visit lofoten

Hands down, one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. The most beautiful, brand new hotel, in the most stunning part of the Lofoten Islands. The room was gorgeous, the breakfast incredible and the staff were a delight.

Absolutely nothing. It was perfect - Well done!

We had a stylish Room , with a nice view to the Harbour on first floor. The Room was very comfortable, had lots of space, staff very friendly. The breakfast is very good, theres nothing missing.
