As the name itself suggests, Yuni Hotel is really comfortable! It has that kind of vibe where you feel at ease and you just look forward to coming back to after a full, tiring day of sightseeing Tokyo. The hotel is in the heart of Tokyo, just in the middle, conveniently located in Shinjuku City. The hosts Yun and Sal (hopefully I didn't mispell their names} were one of a kind. They were very hospitable and helpful from start to end. Yun offered us a delicious yuzu tea as soon as we arrived and she explained in details the hidden places to visit around Izakaya, places like Kagurazaka for example, of which we wouldn't probably know the existence if it weren't for her! Whenever we needed help and asked the hosts, they were more willing to help and even go the extra mile! The hotel was really clean and cute, there's even a manga bookshelf at the entrance, so you can indulge yourself in that if you can read a bit of japanese. There is also a terrace where we enjoyed having breakfaxt every morning before our outings! The hotel also offers free tea bags, free coffee and free toliletries, and there's a washing mashine and a dryer you can use for few hundred yen as well. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Yuni Hotel Comfortable Stay and we'd definiltely come back!next time around too!

I was researching hotels for a five-night stay in Tokyo and sent inquiries to three hotel I reserved on Booking.com. Only Hotel Yuni responded with clear and precise information, promptly addressing my questions. Impressed by their clarity, I decided to keep my reservation with Yuni. Upon checking in, I was blown away by the manager's warm reception and the welcoming manner. As it was our first visit to Japan, we had numerous queries. The managers at Yuni went above and beyond answering our questions and ensure our comfort throughout the five days. The level of service we received was comparable to that of a Ritz Carlton. I have stayed at many hotels, but I cannot recall ever being taken care of as well as we were at Yuni. Additionally, the hotel provided all the amenities a guest could need. I will recommend and promote hotel Yuni to anyone, in a heartbeat!

The hotel was very clean and cozy. I loved staying in the hotel lobby which was well furnished and had multiple places to sit or work. It was quiet and comfortable both in the rooms and in the lobby’s guest area. There was a very cheap coin laundry inside the hotel and they even offered detergent for a small fee. There was also an amazing little amenities corner on every floor, and if they didn’t have everything you needed in the room then it was there instead. I honestly was amazed with the amount of thoughtfulness put into the rooms and provided amenities, and every little thing was clean and/or smelled very nice. The two people running the hotel really thought of everything to make their guests comfortable and happy, and they were working extra by offering area advice and tips on the local sights, food, and shopping, even offering photos and guides. If there was something we were having trouble with due to the website or information in Japanese, then they took time out of their day to help us and went above and beyond any level of service we received in our travels and stays in other places. I honestly have no criticism for our stay. The place was clean, comfortable, and roomy, especially for a place in Japan. The staff was friendly and helpful at all times.
There was really no downsides for us.

Hotel Yuni is located in a street that goes up at a steep angle. After a long flight and riding some trains we arrived at Ichigaya station in the evening. The distance between the station and the hotel is only 400 m, but arriving there, and being tired the walk up the hill was exhausting. Reaching the hotel we were greeted in the most welcoming way. We were offered a seat to rest, and served hot tea. That was a wonderful experience. Ichigaya station is located right between busy Shibuya/Shinjuku and Akihabara. While Shibuya is known for Hachiko, Shibuya Crossing, and Shibuya Sky, Akihabara is also known as Electronic City, the paradise for computer freaks and gamers. You will also find there young girls on main street who hand out flyers for Maid Cafes where you pay for the time that you spend there plus the food and drinks that you consume. In the cafe young girls dressed in maid outfits will serve you, and keep you entertained in conversation. Their job is to keep you in the cafe as long as possible. Remember, you pay for the time that you spend there. The hotel is equipped with everything you need. You forgot your comb or your hairdryer? They've got you covered. Every room is equipped with air-conditioning that also works as a heater, so no matter which time of year you plan to visit you will have a comfortable place to sleep in. Each floor provides a microwave and a kettle. You will also find a variety of teas that are free to consume. Good news for smokers - the hotel has two (!) smoking areas, one on the ground floor at the back of the house, and another one on the roof. You can do laundry there as well. There is a washing machine available. Make sure you have some coins at hand. We felt very well during our stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you have questions they will have the answers. Since this was our first visit to Japan expectations were high. I must say, the country and people exceeded my expectations by far!

Staff is extremely generous, friendly and will help you any way you need, They will also offer commodities such as making you a warm cup of tea after walking outside in a cold winter day. Amenities such as drinking water, shaving blade, extra toilet paper, hair combs, tea and toothbrushes are available for free. Room is not very large but still not the smallest under Tokyo standards - considerably good within the hotel's price range. Beds are individual, but can be united if traveling as a couple, making a considerably large double bed. Bathroom is basic. There are also a refrigerator, small TV with local channels and a closet in the room. Hotel is located on top of a slope, so you will be required to go up and down it whenever you want to reach the train stations or come home. This will also make it hard for you to reach the hotel when you are arriving and leaving if traveling with heavy luggage. Nonetheless, location is excellent, less than 5 minutes walking from Ichigaya Station, served by Tokyo Metro (Nanboku Line, Yuurakuchou Line and Toei Shinjuku Line) and JR Chuo-Soubu Line - which makes it a very efficient point of start for wherever you want to go in Tokyo. In cold days, you will be able to make use of underground passages that connect these lines in order to avoid walking too much in the cold. Area is served by many restaurants too - Mc Donalds and Mos Burger just at the corner, Yoshinoya and Matsuya (Japanese fast food for Donburi etc) are within walking distance, also other local restaurants and izakayas. Family Mart (convenience store) and Maruzen Supermarket are also available 24h at the bottom of the slope. Small Uniqlo and fresh bakery are available at the JR Station. Bookstore also available within walking distance. It was a great stay and particularly recommended for those who prefer a more familiar and friendly type of accomodation.

It was amazing! The hosts here are so caring and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Our room was perfect for 3 people and had an incredible view. The hotel features a rooftop terrace with a very nice view, luggage storage, a welcoming lobby, and complete amenities! Overall, if you're looking for a hotel with great staff, comfortable rooms, stunning views, and complete facilities, I highly recommend staying at Hotel Yuni! 🤗

I liked that for the entire week we had a comfortable stay and the accessibility to the public transportation, restaurants and shops. Room - the bed was comfortable. There was only 1 pillow per bed but I asked for an extra. The room was spacious for me as we were able to open all our luggage and it didnt feel crowded. Fridge in the room was spotless. There was a closet with plenty of hangers ( i was happy about that since we were able to organize our clothes). I also liked that you can store a lot in there. So when you go back from all shopping, its not all scattered on the floor. There was a mini coffee table, its compact and functional. I would have loved a full sized mirror in the room though. Bathroom was clean and just the right size. We were not once disturbed by noise from other rooms/guests. You would hear faint sound of people walking on the upper floor but that's it. Amenities- The iron, kettle & microwave were in the amenities area per floor. I liked that they were all just there if you need them. Other properties, you have to ask for it from the reception every time. There's complimentary coffee& tea in there too. There's a laundry area on the basement. There's a rooftop where you can just chill. The lobby area was spacious enough and a good place to chat w other guests Location - its very near the ichigaya station ( 4 lines run there: shinjuku line, chuo-sobu line, namboku line & yurachuko line). The station itself has a convenience store, starbucks, japanese/western fusion restaurant, bread/pastry store & uniqlo store on the ground level. There's a 24/7 supermarket, drugstore, convenience stores, salon, plenty of variety of restaurants, cafes, muji, daiso, all within a good 5 min walk or less from the property. Although i might say the walk back to the property after a whole day out is quite a workout however if you take uber/taxi then its fine. Host - the host is always smiling.
Unfortunately there is a construction going on beside the property and they were drilling on our 1st day, it was really loud. However on the ff days, there were no more drilling/excavations so we weren't woken up by the machines. They dont work overnight so we never had trouble sleeping.

the host is extremely friendly and hospitable to everyone who stays there. though rooms may be a tad bit smaller than usual hotels, she has thought of extra amenities for issues such as a dedicated luggage space for every room. upon checking in, she also introduces the neighbourhood to you and gives suggestions for lunch places or other areas that aren't as well known to tourists. oh and the station is right in the middle, so you can expect to get to all popular areas in 30 mins or less
wouldn't say this is something i didn't like but potential stayers should be aware of the slope you have to walk up to get to this hotel! tbh a good exercise everyday but just for people to be aware incase you have any elderly or physically limited family members that this is probs not gonna be easy!

- The owners were extremely welcoming and helpful, they were always ready to give us advice for the food or transportation. They even made us a nice tea when we arrived, which was perfect to warm us up. Big up to Yun and Shin (hope I didn't make any mistakes)!! - Location was excellent, very close to the center. Next to a station as well. - Room was clean and spacious, and was actually more spacious than all our other hotel rooms. Very comfortable. - Price was good, and taking everything into account, it was excellent value for money. - Lots of restaurants or snacks nearby for when you come back after a long day. Perfect to eat and quickly be at your hotel. There were konbinis close by as well.
- Nothing!
