huge complex with luxury furnishings and display, multiple poos for kids, adults and family. world class spa facility and our room is above the spa with dead sea view, watching sunset from balcony dinner. We had amazing dinners at the Edge social Lounge and Labanese restaurant. Swimming in dead sea,mud bath after, it was a life time experience. Best of all, all staffs are friendly and helpful, Er specially want to express our outmost gratitude to Mr. Abdullah Saad who assisted us during our stay and took extra steps to provide information, suggestions and also arranged transprotations for our remaining Jordan journey. Our Jordan vacation has exceeded our expections, Thanks to Abdullah.

nothing, everything is perfect

The property was very clean and well maintained. Food was excellent we had the half board and it was very convenient and good value. We also tried the room dining and that was excellent. One of the staff Ivan was exceptionally friendly and professional. If i decide to come back to the Kempinski it will be because of Ivan who every day at breakfast made our day with his smile and kindness asking us if we needed anything and how he can make our stay better. Thanks Ivan great asset to the hotel

Oh well we had an incident with one of what is called lady in red who was rude and we asked for the manager who was very professional and understanding and he apologized and he said he will sort that out.

We loved our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our room, which we paid a small amount extra to upgrade to the spa area with a patio. It was clean and comfortable, the food was good and generous, the spa pools and massage were fabulous (thanks Abigail), and the Dead Sea experience enhanced by the attentive staff. I have to praise the lady who looked after us as we relaxed by the spa pools. I didn't get her name sadly, but without being intrusive, she brought us drinks and checked on us.

The only hiccup was at checkout. Our cart didn't arrive at all to take us for checkout on time even after being assured that they were on their way! The doof doof music coming from the neighbouring property went from about 10 am to at least 10 pm and was very irritating, ruining the peaceful atmosphere.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Kempinski Ishtar Dead Sea Hotel from August 3-6, 2024, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, the level of service and attention to detail was exceptional. The rooms are spacious, elegantly designed, and equipped with all the modern amenities one could need. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. One of the highlights of my stay was the exquisite dining options. The variety and quality of the food were outstanding, catering to all tastes and preferences. Each meal was a culinary delight, made even more enjoyable by the stunning views from the restaurant. The hotel's facilities are second to none. The multiple pools, including the infinity pool with its panoramic views of the Dead Sea, were a favorite spot to unwind. The spa services were top-notch, offering a range of treatments that left me feeling rejuvenated and pampered. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to all the staff at Kempinski Ishtar Dead Sea Hotel. Their warm hospitality, professionalism, and dedication to making my stay perfect did not go unnoticed. Every interaction, from the front desk to housekeeping, was marked by a genuine desire to ensure guests have the best experience possible. The Hotel was one of the best hotels I have ever visited. My mum and I thoroughly enjoyed the exceptional service, beautiful structure, top-notch facilities, and endless hospitality. The staff couldn’t have done more for us—they were prompt, kind, and polite throughout our entire 5-night stay The food was divine, regardless of which restaurant we chose each night, and the same goes for lunch and breakfast. The upgraded room was amazing, the Spa was exceptional, tours were excellent, and the airport transfers were seamless. Thank you to everyone; you made our stay at the Dead Sea truly special.

Everything surpassed my expectations.

This exceeded our expectations in every way. Our room, complete with balcony, was huge, exceedingly comfortable and very clean. What a treat to be able to walk down to the Dead Sea! Beach facilities (lounge chairs, towels, showers, mud) were outstanding. Our room had both a soaking tub and a shower, which we enjoyed. Staff was most accommodating. Lots of restaurants to choose from in this large complex. It was fun just walking around the property. Breakfast was over the top, with so many choices and enormous portions.

Everything was terrific.

Nice place to stay and relax. We had a chance to stay for 7 nights and enjoy the sunshine and all the great facilities of the hotel. Kind staff, lovely food. Main restaurant offers variety of foods. I’ve very much enjoyed breakfasts, fresh salad and the mains they offered for tea time. The Blue restaurant’s food was super delicious, I definitely recommend the king prawns dish, Leith the manager made it more special. We celebrated my husband’s birthday there. ‘Lady in Red’ team make sure your stay is comfortable. The view to the Dead Sea is absolutely stunning. Staff at the beach were extremely helpful. I have lost my sunglasses in the water and they’ve tried their best to help me to find it. The spa team also tried their best to create the best time for us. The cleanness of spa facilities is appreciable. We also enjoyed activities like tennis and yoga while we stayed at the hotel.

The hotel was so relaxing and the staff were so welcoming! Thank you to sobhi, our housekeeper, for keeping our room spotless. we were in shock about the cleanliness and attention to detail. To Ivan , jan , and everyone at Obelisk for the wonderful hospitality and also to the team at Blu Kathlea, abdullah, waleed, and Princess, the food was so fresh and delicious. And a big thank you to mohammed at the reception for the wonderful welcoming during check-in. It is one of the most beautiful hotels I've stayed in, and hospitality is impeccable.

Wifi is very slow

Rooms are very clean with panoramic views from almost all rooms. Amenities and toiletries that were in the bathroom are from one of my favorite local companies ,they smell marvelous. I love their options in terms of pools… lazy lake pool is our favorite. They provided the requested extra pillows and blankets in no time. Room service was also good, a tad bit overpriced.

Breakfast wasn’t what you’d expect, no live cooking stations like eggs or pancakes and what not. Very Basic. Lacking in variety and quality wasn’t up to par either. Minimal options a guest has in terms of spreadable cheeses and cold-cuts, fresh veggies, jams cereals even the danish options were bare minimum. Let’s just say one would expect much more from this hotel in particular. They checked us in an hour and a half after promised 3 PM check in time, and did not give us both rooms at once.At check out we asked for a bit of extra time..only one room was given a bit extra.

We enjoyed very much the massage, the spa facilities and the pool area of the hotel. All the staff is very friendly and supportive. We had a room in the spa area, with a great view to the Dead Sea and wonderful sunsets. We recommend going to the beach, have a swim in the Dead Live Sea, apply some mud, let it dry, wash it off in the sea, apply exfoliant and wash it off. It was very relaxing and good for the skin.

The dinner options were quite disappointing for the money, especially the buffet (not included in the price).
