I had the most amazing time at the Dead Sea Spa Hotel. I went there for a weekend of relaxation and I especially wanted to access their Spa services. I had several massages and treatments and enjoyed being taken care of by the Vitalia Spa staff. The hotel has access to the Dead Sea and the beach is well-equipped with deck chairs, umbrellas, and the mud bucket, of course. There are also showers with clean water. The restaurant and the bar have good quality food and drinks and the room service is efficient and high-quality as well.
The only major problem is that they do not provide bottles of water. In a country where tap water is not drinkable, it should be mandatory for a hotel to provide water for their customers. And this is actually what every other hotel in the country does. Honestly, I did not find this very nice.

The Dead Sea Spa Hotel is a 4 star hotel that doesn't pretend to be anything else. There are a multitude of sunbeds and parasols, so no getting up early! Large clean towels, 5 large swimming pools. Separate adults only pool. Small beach area right on the dead sea with plenty of mud. Large buffet restaurant with good food choices, lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Excellent spot to visit Amman and Petra. It is expensive to eat and drink in Jordan, so try to go half board. Only the most snobbish would be disappointed.
The tour desk was poor. No tour information to read. No information as regards the various restaurants.

It is always a pleasure to stay at the Dead Sea Spa. I really like the cozy atmosphere of this place. It is a four-star hotel but with some familiar vibes. I like also the diversity of their customers - European tourists as well as local tourists. They have the ability to accommodate everyone's needs. The access to the beach is one of the best in the area. They have quite a lot of spots and all the facilities you might need (showers, beach beds, benches, and of course the mud buckets). There are also several swimming pools where kids are not allowed to enter - which I always appreciate. The overall space is extremely clean and the quality of the service is very high. I also had a massage at the Spa and it was amazing, as always!
As always when I go there, I am very disappointed about the drinking water situation. They do not provide water bottles for their customers (only one small bottle per day per person) and if you want to buy it they only sell big bottles for 3,000 JDs each. I think they should provide at least one big bottle per room or even provide it for free because it's just basic!! Especially during this time of the year, when there are 45 degrees at the Dead Sea, they should encourage their customers to drink as much water as possible. Another downside this time was that I got food poisoning. I know it can happen especially when temperatures are so high, but it was pretty bad.

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The rooms were New and very clean. Its directly on the dead sea (cause of climate Chance though you have to walk down a few minutes) and it has 4 nice and warm pools. Perfect for kids and also adults since there is an adult only area. The breakfast was really good (pancakes and waffles unfortunately took sometimes forever). There was Lunch (15jd) and dinner (20jd) Buffet (kids for free) with good quality food. There was also a Snack bar and roomservice with ok Pizza ect....
Since the hotel is in a remote area you are dependent on the food and drinks in the hotel. Water 1.5l is already quite expensive (3jd) and food also not cheap..... There is a mall (15min walk) closeby with very very nice Restaurants and ok prices to eat but DONT go shopping there since its rediciously expensive (sunlotion 25jd/ more than 30 €...) Make Sure u bring everything u need with u. Hotel checks your bags. U re not allowed to bring food or drinks from outside (same in the Other dead sea hotels).

The location is basically on the dead sea, The private beach is around 200 meters away from the hotel (a short walk). There you have access to chairs, sun loungers, umbrellas and dead sea mud, free of charge. The hotel is clean, and spacious. The breakfast was good and dinner was even better with many cooked meals (chicken, fish, beef) and meals for vegetarians.
The beach needs some work so there is room for improvement. And hygiene in the rooms could be improved. Spa prices are slightly high.

The entire facility was excellent Rooms are cleaned and nice bedding 🛌 The staff at the spa were excellent, and the receptionist and the massage ladies were very good. The salt scrub and Thai massage were amazing. I enjoyed my stay at the hotel, I love it and will most definitely come back to the place. I almost forgot about the pub's happy hours, the best part of my evening.
Why are there no sandles/slippers in the room? This was the only part I didn't like. The rule that prevents staff from sitting with customers after their shift was very serious, perhaps culturally oriented.

For our stay this hotel was a very good choice as it had it's own private beach by the Dead Sea. It also had some nice pools where we could enjoy our selves later. We found the hotel stuff very friendly. They prepared our room before the check-in time and we also received a free upgrade which we very much appreciated. The choice of dishes during dinner and breakfast was satisfactory and delicious. I really wish we planned a longer stay at the hotel.
As our visit took place in mid October the water temparature of the pool was a bit cold. It would be nice if it would be a bit warmer especially the kids pool. Also if the usage the spa area would be included in the reservation price it would be nice.

I won't stay anywhere else in the Dead Sea region. Our stay was exceptional as usual. The staff is incredible and makes us feel like family. I had forgotten my suncream and with the area entirely closed off for a conference, they sent someone out to get me suncream from a pharmacy. The pool lifeguard helped my dad's nurse learn how to swim. The beach lifeguard was so fun and helpful, personally on the lookout for salt crystals for me and remembering my name, even going so far as to pre-notify me before closing the beach. The restaurant staff is beyond friendly... A special shoutout to Omar Khaled at the Crystal Terrace (surface). He is by far the best waiter I've ever had, even remembering exactly what we ordered last year and the year before. Staying at this hotel is such a nice experience. The staff really is the best part about it, but the facilities and the rooms are equally amazing!
I have absolutely no complaints whatsoever. All perfect.

I had a very relaxing and comfortable stay at this nicely appointed hotel. The staff were friendly and the rooms spacious and clean, with amenities such as bath robes, slippers, toiletries, and a mini fridge. The hotel offers several quick and sit down food options, a gym (see more on that below), a spa, several points, and Dead Sea beach access.
The onsite gym is in a bit of a sad state. I went in to lift weights and I left without being able to do anything because either the machines I needed weren't there or the labels on the weights had fallen off and weren't replaced. The very clearly labeled adults only pool had a number of kids swimming in it and the staff did nothing about it. While the hotel is very nicely decorated and clean, it also shows its wear in some places, like many spots on the wall that were touched up with a completely different color of paint. The food options, particularly the buffet, are mediocre.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Dead Sea Spa with family visitors. Both times were very pleasant. The first time we stayed, the breakfast was acceptable but not particularly noteworthy. I should mention that at that visit the chef made a special dish for my wife that was not on offer - a local favourite called galaayat banadoura (a tomato fry-up), which was well prepared. This time, there was a noticeable improvement in quality. Worth noting especially is that the croissants were made on site and they were very very good, flaky on the outside and soft in the middle. The rest of the dishes were superb. As for the facilities. Everything is well kept, and the whole place exudes a sense of calm and quiet luxury. The rooms are well kept and comfortable. We think that the Dead Sea Spa has the nicest beach, set in a small cove.
