Lovely place and it was very quiet during our stay. It’s close to restaurants, cafes and art shops. Our request for a baby cot was accommodated. Rooms are spacious and clean. We had a patio with a padded bench, two chairs and a table. The staff is very friendly and prompt. We had issues with the bathtub, and they quickly came to solve the problem. Several pools, spa and a restaurant. A buffet breakfast was included. They restocked our waters every day which made me so happy because at the end of a long day I often forget to buy waters to bring to the hotel. Free shuttle to Ubud center is included!

Nothing I did not like.

Kori ubud is a lovely hotel just out of Ubud centre. They have a free shuttle service to Ubud and will arrange transport at a reasonable cost at other times. Staff are lovely, the setting is gorgeous and the three pools wonderful. I’ve stayed here a few times and loved it. It has a lot of steps so if mobility is a problem this main not be the best choice. A lovely hotel with nice food and drinks at reasonably priced in a lovely setting. We were upgraded and our room was large with a lovely terrace.

Breakfast is very simple and could definitely be improved.

Great location, easy walking to restaurants, yoga and spas. Hotel does a shuttle into Ubud centre. Loved the pools, the gorgeous gardens and the relaxed feel of the hotel.

Maybe change the water bottles in room to glass.

The property was very close to Ubud Market and other attractions in Ubud, so even during peak traffic, it would take at most 15-30 minutes to get around, including to Alas Harum. However, the spa's hours were quite inconvenient, closing by 5:00 pm or at most 5:30 pm, which I found too early since most activities wrap up by 4:00 pm and returning takes time. Since the spa was always fully booked, the staff recommended another nearby spa that was fantastic and reasonably priced.

The breakfast selection was quite limited and lacked sufficient options for a satisfying meal. While the fruit choices were excellent, featuring fresh watermelon, mangosteen, and other tropical fruits, the overall breakfast spread was inadequate. Although the rooms were cleaned daily, lizards, cockroaches, and other insects still found their way inside, and the fixtures were also loose.

Tropical paradise at Kori Ubud! Traditional, Balinese hotel - that is very well maintained considering it is close to 20 years old - hotels are not made like this in Bali anymore! I write this sitting in my visually pleasing yet not practical concrete cube/villa in Uluwatu. Lovely tropical gardens, 2 pools and a different daily mix of Indonesian and Western food for breakfast. Lovely and quiet hotel to relax at and eat their yummy spring rolls and club sandwich by the pool. Lovely staff who are very helpful and free shuttle service to town at different times. Clean, big rooms. Have stayed twice at this hotel and will return.

The Deluxe Suite was massive with a big comfortable 4 poster bed, air con, small fridge and huge bathroom which had a bath and shower. Our room had a little seating area and then the second pool was directly in front of us which was fabulous. The second pool is a great size for a proper swim and quite shaded by the surrounding jungle which is good when it's super hot. The main pool was also lovely under the restaurant with the top pool being shallow for children and then the bottom pool being deeper. The restaurant was lovely with fabulous views of the rice padies which was a lovely sight while having breakfast, and the included breakfast was fabulous with good options!! However, the restaurant was a little more on the expensive side for classic indonesian dishes which could be bought cheaper elsewhere. Our stay included one main dinner and there was a choice of nasi or mie goreng. The afternoon tea we only tried once in our stay but it was the banana pancakes, not your traditional "afternoon tea". We were provided with a big book of suggested tours in the area and information about the hotel - we organised two days tours with the hotel and transfer to the airport which was a good price and made the process very easy. We often used the shuttle into Ubud centre too. It is free one way at specified times (think 4x4 car rather than a bus for the shuttle). And the hotel also were happy to arrange collection for us at a cost of 50-75k IR depending on where we were in the centre. On our final day, I used the spa and had a traditional balinese massage which was the best massage I have ever had. Very relaxing and only 150k IR. Would definitely recommend having a massage during your stay! All in all a wonderful hotel in Ubud which is close to the centre but not too close, and is also near some fabulous warungs for food!

The mosquito nets could be improved around the beds but appreciate this is difficult with the four poster beds. There are just gaps if you don't pull it down exactly on the corners and sides which leaves room for mosquitos to get in. It would also be lovely if beach towels could be provided in rooms each day. They were placed in boxes by the pool sides, but in rooms would be fabulous. Weirdly though not many people seemed to use the pools?? Finally, regarding the pools, in the main pool it was a little dirty under the waterfall area there was some scum in the water which needs to be cleaned more frequently. Be aware if having a bath, the hot water tap gets very hot - I slightly burnt my wrist.

Beautifully presented out of Ubud but with a free shuttle that allows plenty of time to go in and explore, eat and then be picked up and taken back to peace and quiet and a beautiful room. Pics don’t do it Justice. It is a beautiful landscape quality place with gorgeous artefacts and ponds and flora. Even watched a squirrel play in the tree while I was in the pool (one of three pools). Loved the geckos, the frogs after a big storm, the people and the quiet after the Ubud hubbub. I’d recommend the shuttle over taxis any time!

The toilet got a bit cheeky and the flushing buttons played up, too sometimes need a little hose to flush but this is a Bali thing, one light shade is nearly falling apart and there’s little things like a regrout needed or trays left out on steps overnight and until the next afternoon.

Gorgeous hotel, room, and pool/garden area. The staff were lively and very helpful. Theres two pools and plenty of beds to relax by the pool and it's fairly close to everything. The room was massive with a lovely big bathroom, and there was a lovely balcony that looked onto the jungle/rice fields.

We avoided the breakfast in the hotel from the other reviews but we ordered room service and got sick from the room service food (it was the only thing we'd eaten that day) so we spent most of our time in the hotel being sick 😢

There are two main pools to choose from, and we swapped which one depending on the sunshine. Both were excellent and felt very clean. Breakfast was very good, with a large buffet every day and on-demand custom eggs. The room was large, airy, and had a really nice bathroom. They offered full amenities and even lit a mosquito coil every night and gave us a room plug in as well. The service overall was nothing short of friendly and exceptional. The staff even took down three fresh coconuts for us one afternoon and opened them for us (for free).

My only real issue was what I would classify as 'food safety'. At the breakfast buffet I saw numerous times that they would take a newly cooked tray and just dump it on the old food, which is very wrong and means that old food is constantly buried and the bacteria can pile up. The proper way is to add the new dish and then the older food can go to the top and be used first. By witnessing this, I never actually touched anything in the hot dishes and stuck to the breads, fruits and eggs.

Beautiful, traditional Balinese hotel and well looked after considering it is close to 20 yrs old. They don't make hotels like this any more in Bali! Grounds are beautiful and well looked after. Rooms are big and luxurious. Two pools and quiet location, we often had the place to ourselves which we loved, as many tourists out exploring during the day. Great mini mart across the road. Staff are lovely, very helpful, and massage at the spa is awesome! Free shuttle bus to town centre. Loved my spring rolls and club sandwich by the pool! Breakfast buffet is a mix of Indonesian and Western food. Have been back twice now to this hotel and will keep returning! Great value for money and many awesome places within walking distance.

Reading tourist reviews about ants, lizards and bugs in their rooms at this hotel- you are visiting the jungle in the tropics... what do you expect!
