Room was big, bed was comfy.

I liked the property but I am extremely surprised that i had to pay a surcharge for making payment with my debit card. I would imagine that I need not pay a surcharge at such a well known property.

Classy and large room with numerous thoughtful design touches. Access to the executive lounge was fantastic. The staff frequently anticipated potential problems that could arise and acted to resolve the problems in advance eg providing a spare room key to exit the separately owned car park that was rejecting validated parking receipts, asking if we'd be attending the lounge or a dinner in advance to anticipate dietary restrictions.

The medium rare porterhouse was well done and borderline inedible but the room service burger was excellent and the server was careful to be quiet so as not to wake my partner late at night.

The Westin Perth is a beautiful luxury hotel located within Perth's historic quarter and the former Hibernian Hall. Various bars and restaurants (Goody Two's, Hidaqa and Pictada) are a short stroll across the leafy courtyard which is a wonderful inner city retreat especially in the height of Summer. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by all staff from the valets within the grand and cavernous entrance, reception staff with the hotel's lobby/check-in and later within Haven Lounge for a late dinner and the following mornings within Garum for breakfast and at such a busy time of year (immediately after Christmas Day). The hotel rooms, pool, spa, gym, Haven and Garum are all inviting places to wile away your time - whether for an hour or days. I cannot wait to return.

Due to the time of year, the breakfast was very busy. We had hoped to dine at Garum for dinner, yet it was closed (December 26), and the following evening we had a wedding to attend. We look forward to returning.

Had a lovely stay with my Mum and Sister as a surprise for my Mum's 60th birthday. A beautiful complimentary birthday dessert and bottle of prosecco was provided by Westin Perth along with a personal birthday note, a lovely touch to make the stay that extra bit special. A trundle bed was also added to the room (not requested but provided as additional sleeping space for us) Early check-in was permitted too which was lovely. The only thing I can comment on would be the Conditioner dispenser in the shower was empty, and no slippers were provided in the room. Apart from those 2 small things the stay was perfect :)

No slippers in the room :(

Central, good first impressions entering the property.

Detail cleaning lacking. Dust in small crevices and could see marks from adhesive in mirror on toilet door. Acceptable maybe in a 3 or 4 star property but perhaps worth a mention when we’re talking 5 stars and $450 per night. Booked two rooms for 3pm checkin. One not available until almost 4pm which is ridiculous given the price and expected 5 star experience. No sorry; no offer to deliver the new room keys to the one room we all were waiting in for the availability of the second booked room - so we could shower and get ready for the event we booked the Westin for, which we were subsequently late for.

Wonderful breakfast. The food is simply amazing and i can totally spot the Italian touch beyond it! Special mention for Veronica that greeted me greatly and warm. This kind of professionals add a lot of value in the quality perception of the service. Well done. The only thing i would improve are the croissants and the bakery. Gym is very nice. Totally enjoyable. Pool is very nice too. Good move the free sunscreen available for the guests. The room is very confy.

There is no body lotion available. There is no dental kit available. There is no shoes shine kit available. Smell of the soaps is totally the same like a cheap discount soap. Lack of free drinking water at the pool.

Was pleasantly surprised when my room was available when I checked in early at mid day. The room was on the 20th floor and had nice city views, The room was very spacious, nicely furnished and clean. The bathroom was also spacious and clean. The room temperature control worked. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided, as well as a mini fridge. The gym had a couple of treadmills and bikes and weights, with towels and water. The reception staff and a manager I interacted with were all very friendly, efficient and helpful. Highly recommended.

Nothing to mention.

I was on a staycation, having a little break from my carer responsibilities, Westin was perfect - location, style, comfort .. check-in was pleasant, easy, friendly .., $200 bond off credit card Room was great, spacious, as was bathroom, full view to the north and able to see the pool Extensive buffet breakfast was a treat, @$42 p.p., not bad value if you're not in a hurry, which I wasn't Otherwise there is a good range of coffee shops and lunch bars in the vicinity, and a tapas bar in the plaza.

No instructions in the room for the coffee maker, the shower taps, the clock radio, the air conditioning, room was very cool, doona was too hot, no milk left in the frig for my last morning coffee, quantity of tea and coffee stuff was not generous, mini bar prices, wicked .. Somehow/someone set security lock on my room door so I couldn't get in !!, no instructions .. then it took about 40 mins to get the door opened, staff attended promptly but needed engineering, then a guy with an ipad, then a clever guy to use a piece of metal like a coat-hanger, very impressive, a little disconcerting .. Staff were sometimes a bit thin on the ground, steak sandwich in the Haven lounge took 30 mins to come, after I reminded the staff of my order, it was fine when it did come

The property was ideally situated for our inner city wedding venue and reception. The hotel is stunning, from foyer to room and was the ideal setting for our daughter’s bridal party to prepare for her wedding celebrations. The room was large enough to accomodate her bridal gown and that of her bridesmaid very well. The view was beautiful, fitting for a wedding celebration. We greatly appreciated the staff’s attentiveness to the special nature of our stay, and the added suprise of champagne and an individualised dessert. We greatly enjoyed breakfasting at the Westin over the weekend, it completed the sense of occasion on our special family celebration.

The toilet door did not appear to be able to be closed securely

The warmth of the staff in welcoming guests, advising guests on guests' questions, etc. The welcome complimentary drink (champagne), is a surprise to us. It's new or renovated or the upkeeping of the area is fantastic! The overall cleanliness of the room, bathroom, hotel, etc is very good. The city view at level 9 is great. We can imagine the view of higher floor should be gorgeous! The breakfast, though variety is limited, it's fresh & yummy. If we are visiting Perth again, we will stay in this hotel!
