The grounds were absolutely beautiful and extremely well kept. The staff were also wonderful and so helpful. The breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts we have had in a long time! The hotel was also dog friendly (in most parts) so that was great. We loved it and will definitely be returning at some point.

We had the dinner they offer, a set menu. Pre dinner drinks in the lounge were lovely by the fire. But for £85pp the dinner wasn’t amazing. Very bold flavours that were a little too much, also alot of salt used. And for the price we felt it was too much considering most of the food we thought was just “ok”. We would have dinner out next time. But the breakfast was delish.

Lovely Country Manor Hotel, not far from Bourton -on the water Village, easy flat 20 minute walk. Quint shops and eateries. Nice room, a little cluttered, good sized bathroom, roll top bath and walk in shower. Comfy bed. free wifi which worked well. Hotel has it's own bar and restaurant, however the menu is fixed and a little limited for my liking. Breakfast is served up from a menu of your choice, hot tea & coffee, good serving of food. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. No lift if you struggle with stairs particularly if you have a top floor room. Plenty of free parking in the grounds.

Beautiful location and building. Very pleasant staff. Superb views from the room.

Generally it was very good but for the price, there are one or two improvements I would suggest. Check in seemed rather old fashioned, not much of a problem but a little slow. Difficult to charge our phones, it would be nice to have sockets in a convenient location with USB points. A handrail to get in and out of the bath is desirable to avoid slipping. Only two breakfast tea bags provided, a few more would be good. My full english breakfast was forgotten and I had to remind the staff after half an hour, when it was provided quickly.

The property is beautiful and very elegantly done up. We got a free room upgrade upon arrival. The staff at the reception were very courteous and helpful. The room was exceptionally spacious and well done up, with every little detail meticulously taken care of.

The meal prices are ridiculously high. They do not give you an option to order A La Carte at the restaurant, you have to choose between a two-course meal at GBP 65 and a three-course meal at GBP 80. Even though they mention that an optional service charge is added to your bill, it is not really optional as they do not ask you if you wish to add the service charge instead they add it automatically to the final bill.

This property was festively decorated, very clean, and super comfortable -- everything was top notch. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and I'll definitely recommend and book rooms here for clients. Enjoyed dinner in the restaurant one evening; it was wonderful! Also had a more casual dinner in the bar/lounge area on the last evening, and once again, everything I ordered was excellently prepared and presented. Your staff members are very kind, energetic, & thoughtful -- I loved my stay here!

The grounds are absolutely gorgeous as you approach the property. We loved the staff who were ever helpful. The food was great, we loved the snooker and what a lovely area to walk around… bourton on the water is only a 20/25min walk away. We also like that breakfast is included it’s annoying at other establishments of the same ilk who charge for breakfast when you are paying a lot per night.

The price of drinks is really high - more expensive than most London restaurants and bars. Two alcoholic drinks cost us £45. Otherwise can’t fault it.

Location was great. Dinner on Friday night was excellent and all the staff looked after us very well. Breakfast was nice, especially the sourdough toast and croissants but but I don't think the veggie sausage agreed with me as I had a bit of a reaction to it. OK by lunch time though. The gardens are lovely and we had a beautiful walk from the hotel. We would have enjoyed staying longer.

Disappointed that we couldn't find a place for me to have a zoom meeting after check out although I understand you had booked the whole hotel out to a family gathering before my meeting finished.

Excellent breakfast, great choice and wonderful location with amazing quality ingredients.

Our room was a great size (suite), however the bathroom could do with updating, however very comfortable room and clean. We bought 2 hot chocolates and one coffee for £22, which even living in London, we thought was completely outrageously priced.

The breakfast is very good with many choices and in good quality. The room is spacious and the bed is comfortable.

The shower was a bit weak with water coming out slowly. A bit difficult to handle the shower head, making the floor wet after shower. It's better not to put the floor mat inside the bath tub as it was always wet when we picked it up.
