Everything was nice

on booking.com i booked the room for 2 people including breakfast, when i reached the hotel they said you will pay for second person for breakfast , not as per my reservation ??? also why the booming.com when i booked ot says the price includes fees and taxes and when i reached the hotel they charged me extra $45 daily for facilities , still not making sense to me , i think this is cheating and trapping people. am not happy for hidden fees not mentioned clearly when i made the booking .

When we arrived, the room we originally requested was fully booked. We were instead given a room upgrade and restaurant credit for the inconvenience. Staff has always been accommodating, which is one of the many reasons we come back to this hotel. Breakfast, location, facilities, everything exceptional.

All staff were so helpful and friendly. We had a flat tire, from a nail, checking out of the hotel and the valet staff did not hesitate to help us fill it with their machine so we could smoothly leave. They went above and beyond!! The rooms were also so clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable, can’t forget the incredible views too. TV has chrome cast so we could enjoy our hulu/netflix/etc. Would stay here again for sure!!

While the rooftop, Spire73, is listed as a $$$$ bar/restaurant, their policy is $60 minimum per person so be prepared for that. Other than that, truly no complaints about my stay here.

This 'upside down' hotel was great choice for LA visit. Location is great, next to metro station. Not far from Crypto.com arena if you plan to visit NBA/NHL. As it is maybe 2nd highest building in LA, the views are stunning. Staff was very friendly and room was always cleaned faster than we came back from breakfast (probably not everyone has this experience).

I would not recommend to book with breakfast, they were quite bad also some of the waiters weren't really nice behaving. I can't understand how such great hotel have this bad kitchen, or serving pastry that feels like 2 days old. This experience can't be saved by hostess which was great, sadly.

I loved how high tech the lighting was and comfortable the beds were although I got called into work I didn’t get to experience the night on those glorious beds my husband had an asthma attack and all the staff were very helpful Kelly was amazing she got a wheelchair and pushed him out to the car such a sweet helpful staff she helped us get a bellman and he helped us get our things down to the car amazing staff very helpful

Just not experiencing the pool and the night in the room also was so excited for the pool and the 25 complimentary drink but the staff was very caring for my husbands health, I asked for a late checkout since my husband was weak from the asthma attack the person I spoke to was Jess she said I wouldn’t be able to stay any longer than 11 and security would have our stuff out the room I thought that was rude

The property was extremely nice and well-kept. The front desk let us choose which floor we wanted our room on and our ideal view, even when we checked in late, which was a very kind touch. Everyone was extremely friendly. We indulged on a margarita pizza in one of the restaurants and it was divine. The shirley temple was good as well and had a lot of grenadine which made me happy. The building is the tallest on the West Coast, and the views were unbeatable. Although we had a short stay at the hotel, it was incredible and we would have no hesitation to stay there again in the future.

I wish they didn’t lock the elevator floors after a certain time because even though the pool was closed I would have loved to just seen it to get a sense for what it was like.

This is an expensive but nice hotel. Rooms are nice, bed is nice, bathrooms are nice. All the staff are professional and helpful. Views from such a high placement in the building are spectacular and the pool area is awesome. accommodations.

What isn’t so nice is that despite being so very expensive, you still get hit with a $39/night facility fee. This fee is for use at a variety of in-and-out of hotel stuff, such as the mini bar in your room. Mostly you’ll use it to buy outrageously expensive food and drinks at the 70th floor bar (e.g., $19 for a Dewars and soda). The elevators can be confusing and a pain to use, particularly during busy times (one elevator bank only serves ground to the 70th floor). Although the hotel can do little to change this, be prepared to see rampant drug use and homelessness even just across the street from the main entrance.

The hotel is new and the views are lovely. Our room was spacious, well appointed and clean.

The layout of the hotel is not hotel guest friendly. There is a sky lobby that requires a long detour to get to any room. Even at 6am (I was in from the east coast), the lobby plays throbbing club music at too high a volume. They are very focused on their club and restaurant customers. Hotel guests, not so much (no staff member anywhere ever offered to help us with our bags). The wifi is slow and will drive you crazy - I actually switched to the cell network. When we had to wait for a breakfast table, the staff insisted we wait in the elevator bank area, not in the restaurant, and they refused to text us, even though the hotel texted us about everything else.
