This hotel is perfectly located for anyone with plans in the DTLA area. The Metric's breakfast spread, especially their coffee and pastries, absolutely hit the spot for me. The room's cleanliness and decor were top-notch, but what really stood out for me was the seamless check-in and check-out process. The staff's responsiveness was impressive; I arrived past 10 pm when the lobby was closed and they made it incredibly easy for me to access the hotel. The added perk of on-site parking was a huge plus, considering the scarcity of street parking. Without a doubt, I'll be returning here on future visits.

So what i didn’t like is they said they have a very good breakfast but they are only giving a muffin for breakfast and when you pay that price you want to see a real breakfast not a muffin and they said one muffin per person and when someone said how are you you guys should say i’m great how are you not how can i help you thanks

We loved absolutely everything about this hotel. Modern, very clean, nicely decorated and safe. We were always happy to enter the hotel again to smell the subtle scent everywhere in the building. Coffee, tea and water from 7am to 10pm, delicious breakfast from a local non-profit bakery. The owners were very friendly and always happy to help. The overall concept of this hotel is just perfect. A parking garage behind a gate, a lobby within the building (not on the ground level) and the obvious effort and love that went into it. If we decide to visit LA again, we will definitely stay here again!

Modern, clean and convenient hotel. Staff and service are outstanding! The Front desk sorted out for me with a reservation glitch and helped with every other minor question or request. Room was quiet, bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. Nice amenities. Loved the baked goods for breakfast and all the coffee/espresso/chocolate/tea options.

This hotel is exceptionally clean and the staff does a great job anticipating guest needs.

It was so clean and felt very secure! The employees were so accommodating and every interaction felt personal like they actually cared about the guest. They were very informative about the hotel and I appreciated the paper they gave us with every question I would have lol and I love how we can text them for any questions or anything we need! The coffee machine in the lobby was an absolute life saver and some of the best coffee I've had! It definitely saved us alot on our morning Starbucks. This has been one of the cleanest hotels I've ever stayed at and something about it felt like home! I look forward to staying here again and I hope the best for all the employees who took such good care of us!

I wish all hotels take an example from this one. Everything is minimal and perfect, clean and tidy, has a nice scent all around, no single spot to complain about. The coffee machine in the lobby is a life saver, safe secured parking lot. We are really happy we chose this hotel for our short stay. Downtown LA in a walking distance, quick drive to Hollywood direction and easy access to freeway to Santa Monica. Quick and easy in and out.

Lobby is not open at night, so there is no way to get a warm water at night (however we figured we could have asked a kettle in advance, but we didn't know we would need it).

The Metric was a fantastic stay! This was one of the cleanest hotels. We stayed here for a Dodger game and it was very close to the ballpark! A little over 1 mile. Their staff was very welcoming and accommodating. Check in and check out was very easy, most of the steps you confirm via the links they send you through text message. Not too hard to find and I really loved that the parking felt safe and secure, especially getting back in late night after the game. The room had a mini fridge but no microwave. The bed was a little too soft for my personal preference but still clean and comfortable. Very spacious bathroom/shower and the room was very modern and like new. We loved the coffee machine in the lobby. My 2 year old loved that it made hot chocolate and my husband and I loved that it made delicious espresso drinks. They have a very small ice machine but the staff was kind and understanding enough to let me fill up my small cooler for milk while we traveled. The morning pastries provided were very tasty, I just wish they had a bread alternative to choose from. There were muffins, sliced sweet loaves, and various croissants. I felt SO safe at this location which can be a little hard to find in some parts of DTLA. Luckily we had a room at the very end of the hall, my toddler is still learning how to control the volume of her voice. We would absolutely stay here again.

Adding an industrial ice machine for parties that travel with coolers or ice chest would be an amazing add for the future

The location was great, quick access to downtown and lots of transit options. Hotel was clean and staff were pleasant. Good bed!

More desk space and a comfortable chair would have been nice. Maybe a dresser, too.
