The room was very spacious and clean as were the building and grounds. Breakfast was hot each morning and a good variety of items were available.

The interior of the hotel and rooms were a bit outdated, the bathroom especially. The shower was a refurbished jacuzzi tub that was a bit of a challenge to get in and out of. The wallpaper was peeling in the bathroom and the ceiling looked old and had cracks. Throughout the hallways there were cracks in the light fixtures, wood paneling was chipped, etc. It just looks like the hotel is slowly falling apart and just needs overall touch-up, repairs, and a little facelift.

All staff were friendly and happy to see us. Breakfast was really delicious. Room comfy although bathroom a little tight for my big husband. Bed was nice. Loved the mini Dove soaps! Bottom of tub was slippery when soap was on it. Stepping out can be a little slippery too. Over all, we loved Wingate!

as above. Tub slippery. Didn't know how often sheets get changed. Stayed 6 nights and they weren't changed. Fine with us. We could have requested, I'm sure.

The room size, room amenities. The gym had everything I needed. General Facilities were always clean. This facility has some of the most professional, helpful, and kind people. The facility was quiet. I got great sleep. Bed was very comfortable. Having such a variety of pillow types was a plus. It was great having access to a refrigerator, freezer, and water heater/coffee pot.

Breakfast options were extremely basic, a la carte. This is not the place for breakfast. But the facilities made up for the poor breakfast options.

I liked the breakfast selections and the coffee served. The room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. The facilities were all very clean and the ice/vending machines were conveniently located.

When we arrived we didn't notice immediately, but there were no bath towels in the room. It wasn't until we came back from dinner that we noticed this. Because of the late hour we just used the hand towels to dry off. Bath towels were there the next day.

The place is tremendously appreciated by all of us, we are 6 people who come from New York City for the Wedding of our niece on Sunday 07/23/2023. Many other people go to different Hotel, and one of my nieces, suggest us this Hotel only 2 minutes to the place. Very nice to be there at the moment. I and others love ❤️ the neighborhood.

Services are greatly appreciated by the pool, Some of my family members enjoy it so much for the short times.

The property was clean and nicely furnished. The rooms were well appointed. The breakfast was very good. There was hot food( scrambled eggs, sausage and waffle machine) as well as the usual continental breakfast items. I especially appreciate the way the kitchen staff individually wrapped each item of food, ie: fruit and breads, in order to maintain health concerns.

We were highly disappointed in the bed. It was extra firm. My husband and I put under our backs in an attempt to soften. In the morning out whole body was sore. Unfortunately, for this one reason, we would not return to this hotel or refer any of our friends or family.

I was there for NC State orientation. The campus was less than 15 minutes away. Great location. Target less than 2 miles away. Room was large and clean.

It was a non-smoking room, but it had a lingering smell of cigarettes. I went to Target and bought deodorizer/air freshener/disinfectant and spayed the entire room.. There was only 1 Kleenex in the dispenser in the bathroom and they didn't refill it. I returned from a long day, only to find that Housekeeping did not clean my room while I was gone. And the room right next to mine in the corner, had the door left wide open. It was after 11pm. I peeked in and the room was empty. but it had been cleaned and seemed like no one checked in. It just creeped me out because it was so close to my room.and it was late at night.

There were two special people that made our visit wonderful. One was Roni at the desk when we arrived. We made a mess! The cleaning staff had left for the day by 3 p.m. on this Saturday, the 3rd of September, 2022. I asked for a vacuum. It was locked up in the cleaning staff room.. But Roni, said, "Don't worry about the mess, just enjoy your stay. WE will take care of it later. Then, Carolyn, was so efficient at the early morning breakfast! We LOVED her! So kind, wanted to take a bag of trash out for me that I was taking to the dumpster (Dinner the night before trash). Please give them a HIGH FIVE! WE will stay at your place again with them in mind. The bed arrangement was not exactly what I thought it would be but the sofa bed worked just fine. No serious problems there.

Love that it's close to restaurants and shopping.Close to our Son and Family's home.Friendly staff. The fact that they still serve breakfast.

Wish it was a way for staff to communicate with housekeeping on what rooms need to be cleaned, that way they won't knock on doors early morning...Anoying if you stay more that one night.

The lobby area was very inviting and decorated for the holidays. The staff was easily available and very friendly. All facilities, in and out of the room, were clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was good, better selections than I’ve seen with other hotels. The breakfast attendant was so pleasant; she greeted us and was helping those with questions!

I wish there was more protein choices with breakfast. The eggs were not the best. Having bacon would have been a nice option.
