Hotel was surprisingly quiet, modern and comfortable for being in industrial section of Guadalajara within minutes of airport. Several cafes or restaurants were a few steps away for dinner. Free breakfast was not available until 7am but hot drinks, ice, light snacks and fruit were available 24/7 in a common room. We were able to grab a bite at 5am before the free shuttle to the airport. By mistake we initially ended up at the Hangar Hotel Select. Staff gave us a free shuttle to the Hangar Hotel which was a couple of miles away and much closer to airport.

Windows didn’t open and, even with air conditioning on , it was stuffy without any circulation.

Convenience of location to airport, Ease of checking and out. Cleanliness of room and bathroom. Complimentary shuttle, coffee & pastries (we didn’t partake but it was a nice touch). Secure parking lot.

Sewage smell woke me up at 4am and somehow lingered for an hour. It hasn’t smelled before that nor after. Have no idea how it got into the room but it was from outside because when I left the smell was permeating the lot. The mattress was pretty stiff and something about the complimentary lotion was off and I had to wash it off.

The room was actually a very pleasant surprise. I figured that for a location designed for a short term stay, maybe it wouldn't be the best, but the room was absolutely beautiful, extremely clean, and comfortable. Very nice bathroom and the shower was great! There are also a couple of restaurants nearby and an limited café option on the property that will keep you fed. We had to go to the airport at 4:30 AM, and the shuttle was immediately available and had us at the terminal about 5 minutes after leaving the hotel. The hotel does offer a breakfast (I think the clerk said starting at 7:30), but we had to leave too early to try that.

This isn't really a problem with the hotel--well maybe a bit, due to the design of the hotel. Our room was on the second floor and the hallway outside our room open to the lobby below. A couple of girls came in around 2 AM chatting and laughing loudly, and the noise carried right into our room. Woke me up and that was the end of my sleep for the night. That said, I never heard anyone else that night, so just bad luck I guess.

I love the fact that it's located near the airport and you provide shuttle service. My flight was scheduled early in the morning. It wasn't safe for us to drive straight to the airport. I've made reservations here in the past and will continue to do so in the future.

Room availability would have been something I would have liked, but I completely understand that almost all rooms were reserved. Goes to show that I am not the only guest that enjoys their stay here.

I know the staff by name. I'm always happy to see their faces. This is a utilitarian hotel. Staying here means you're either coming or going, but in any case, you need your rest, and the employees understand that. Guests come and go at all hours (you may want to bring some ear plugs). Comy beds, clean, new. A couple restaurants within walking distance.

The breakfast doesn't usually happen on time, but you're not missing much. It's pretty basic. No fault of the Hanger Inn, but the area around the airport has an unpleasant smell. The good thing is that you can't smell it in the rooms.

The breakfast is fine nothing exciting but ok. The location for the airport is excellent, so close and if you don’t have a car they have a free bus transfer. The Christmas decorations were very pretty.

The room location was right by reception so although the room was very good it was nosier than if it had been on a higher floor away from reception.

Excellent hotel for the price; very clean and modern, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. It also has a free airport shuttle (the shuttle driver was great!).

There are a few downsides to be aware of: because of the location, there's really nothing within walking distance if you have time to kill and want to stroll around, with the exception of one restaurant and a cafe. Also, the rooms didn't seem very well soundproofed, so bring your earplugs.

Taxi service will rip yopu off any chance they can. $450 pasos for less than a 5 minute drive. Driver said it was not excessive. Use Uber or any other transportation.

I really liked that the shuttle came to pick us up, and the wait was not long at all. The hotel is very close to the airport and we came in at around 1a.m and did not want to drive far at that time. I really loved that they have a little cafeteria with coffee and bread at all times. I also forgot my allergy pills and asked if they knew where i could get some and they had some!

The bed and pillows were not very comfortable but clean.

Closest hotel to GDL airport, only .4 miles. The free shuttle was on time as we requested. We had 3 and rode with another 3 individuals to the airport. All was well. Location is the best. The hotel and facilities, room were clean, though nothing stood out as outstanding. We left very early, and breakfast is not serviced until 7:30am, so that was disappointing, was expecting breakfast as early as 6am. We would use it again for a early flight out of GDL, so we stay one night before and take advantage of the free shuttle to the airport.
