We do not experience in sharing the kitchen together with other visitors. That is why we do not have our meal in the kitchen as you may have expected. However, thank you for putting the small refrigerator in the rooms for us to keep our fruits and drinks to enjoy.

The staff awareness is not enough. Example we do not change the beddings. Sheets, Pillowcase & Towel for the 7 days we stay

Spacious room, bus stop right outside, close to Baie des Citrons. Wifi works well. Communal kitchen downstairs. Helpful staff who tolerated my French. There is a supermarket close by at Port Plaisance - near the Shell service station, just a short walking distance. Ask for a second room key to leave in the power slot in the room so that the room’s fridge continues to run when you are out and about.

The communal kitchen’s fridge needs to be cleaned out regularly (eg once a week) so that old foods that people have forgotten don’t rot and stink out the fridge. The staff put a sign on the fridge after I asked them, to get people to name their stuff and the date they are leaving, which helped improve it.

+ location is great, everything is nearby + great views over the harbour + the room is big with enough plugs to charge your stuff + bed is comfy + private bathroom with hot shower + WiFi works good + staff is friendly and helpful + parking right next to the hostel + there is a kitchen with everything you need

- our bathroom was a bit old and water from the sink was leaking, but they fixed it and for us it was ok

Front desk staff were wonderful. The location is perfect.. 2 minutes walk to Lemon Bay. The room was clean and just right for a mother and daughter...would also go with eider family as rooms can be connected. One of the reasons we chose this was to self cater with food from local market ..and lived being able to share the kitchen. Would definitely stay again.

The women who staff Mocambo are exceptional; very friendly & so helpful! They do speak some English. They booked airport shuttle services for us, stored our luggage & did everything to make our stay easy & comfortable. Everything was done very quickly too despite having a full hotel with many clients.

There is a popular bar on the ground floor. From around 11 PM to 3 AM there is loud music. It didn’t bother us as you don’t really hear much over the sound of the AC.

It's near the bus stop and there is a shop where I can buy lunch. It is also near the beach where I can have my morning and afternoon walks.

There is a bar near, so you can hear noise when you occupied the room above the Bar.

It was clean, the personal was lovely and is really close to the beach and bars soooo perfect

Just the wifi. Sometimes it was not working but is like this everywhere in new Caledonia so is not really the hostel's fault

Right by the nightclub so if you are not planning on partying on the weekend you’ll be able to hear the music until 4am

Close to Baie des Citrons and the bus stops outside. You can walk to the city or Anse Vata, the Aquarium and Ouen-Toro. Spacious and clean room. Friendly staff and a communal kitchen.

The room was large with a fridge microwave and kettle and a comfy bed. Wifi was good. Location was good super market 5 mins walk and the the beach a minutes walk and a few places to eat close by.

A window had the latch missing and I couldn't close it properly.
