The Faskally Lodge was a beautiful place conveniently located close to Pitlochry, a town where you can get anything you need. There are also quite a few stunning walks 10-30 minutes drive away. It had everything you need for a stay away from home. Our kids loved running about on the grass and playing with the balls and racquets that were left for the guests to play with. On the last day we discovered a little train set and some stuffed toys as well wich was a very nice touch for the kids. The owners were a lovely young couple who gave us some fresh free range eggs from their chickens that they have on the site. We loved the lodge and the owners and heartily recommended it.

Our Christmas stay in Scotland was truly enchanting. The setup for our celebration was impeccable, from the festive decorations that adorned the venue to the thoughtful arrangements that added a magical touch to the holiday spirit. The attention to detail was remarkable, making our experience memorable. The warmth of the staff and the festive ambiance created a perfect backdrop for our Christmas celebration. We appreciate the effort put into making our stay so delightful. Highly recommended for a festive getaway!

We encountered occasional issues with the WiFi signal during our stay. Installing a signal extender could enhance connectivity, ensuring a seamless experience for guests who rely on a stable internet connection.

This is a lovely place, perfect for a family vacation. We drove around to places we wanted to visit but also liked to just stay at the lodge on the rainy days. The beds were really comfortable, we had everything we needed.

We had backpacks and there was not much room to store our clothes. I guess if you have a suitcase it is easier.

The lodge was fantastic and very comfortable and the location was perfect for exploring the surrounding areas. very child friendly aswell as not near any main roads. unfortunately I didn't manage to meet the owners but communication threw messages was good and I was well informinformed. thank you for a great stay and I will definitely be back.

Exceptionally clean and cosy log cabin in beautiful surroundings. Ross very welcoming and friendly. Thankyou for the suggestions to local places of interest. Plenty of wildlife around and so nice to see happy free range chickens. Lovely touch to leave eggs and milk in the fridge, also the treats they were very much appreciated.

Nothing really, only very slight down side really is the shower isn't quite powerful enough!

Brilliant Host. Beautiful accommodation and scenery. Very accommodating and great communication. Plenty of space for 4 adults and two kids. lots of information and great space for the kids (and big kids) to play and explore outside. would highly recommend and definitely stay again.

Wish we could have stayed longer

The location was excellent and very peaceful. The accommodation was great and plenty of room for us. 2 showers was an absolute blessing when we were getting ready.

Unfortunately, I think the previous occupiers had spilt milk as there was a smell of off milk in the kitchen area, possibly the fridge.

Had a fantastic stay at Tayview at the Rannoch Lodge. Views from the property are to die for. Just a short distance from Pitlochry with plenty of places to eat and drink and shops. Lovely walk from just back of the property in the woods. Enjoyed our stay, will definitely recommend to friends.

The Little Lodge was bigger than expected and had every facility needed for our stay of one week. It was very well laid out with good space, especially in the bathroom which had a full walk in shower. The balcony is a good size with table and 2 chairs and Sun Shade/Umbrella which was put to very good use during a week of exceptionally good weather. The site is a few hundred yards from A9 and rail line so there was some road noise when sitting out but the view more than compensated for that slight inconvenience.

The lodges are located in beautiful surroundings both peaceful and quiet. Handy for the A9 meaning that trips off site are easily achieved to other destinations. Owners were polite and welcoming but left you to it unless you needed them in which case no problem in making contact with them. We stayed in little lodge 2 and it was spotless cannot fault the cleanliness. the lodges are spaced generously apart providing privacy and much greenery. Everything available at hand including 2 tv's, bedding, towels, soaps and essentials such as milk, tea, coffee, kitchen roll etc! Linda and Donald ensure that guests are happy. Would recommend and hope to return soon!
