Warm room and even warmer bathroom, which was very welcome at the end of a busy day. Tea and coffee provided, with fresh milk in the fridge, which was much appreciated. Beautifully quiet rooms, despite relatively proximity to a roundabout on a busy road.
Breakfast was fine but the Continental breakfast was a little variable in quantity and predominantly over-sweet for people who try to eat healthily (but don't like eggs!) For a simple preparation it took some time to be served compared with a buffet help-yourself. The cooked breakfasts looked very good but too filling for us. We would like to have the option of booking the room without the breakfasts.

The whole place, chalet and pub, was clean, tidy and comfortable apart from being too hot at night despite the portable air conditioning unit. The food served in the pub for evening meals was excellent and the service was great. Breakfast was served in the pub and was very good. prompt service and didn't have to wait long for it to be served up. Good selection too. Well cooked. Nice comfortable place to eat. The staff were friendly and very helpful. It was excellent.
Our stay was during a period of hot weather and it very hot in the room at night (warmer than outside) despite the stand alone portable air conditioning unit. We actually couldn't sleep under the sheets.

We stayed 4th-6th August. Visited Cambridge and surroundings. It was lovely stay. The staff were very very friendly and welcoming. It was our wedding anniversary and the staff even left us a note and bubbles and a treat. The room was spacious, modern, clean tidy and comfortable. We had all little comforts from home. At first glance the rooms are right by garden but you really don’t notice inside, no more noise at night than if you stayed in a large chain hotel and less as pub closes. So peaceful nights sleep. Food was nice and breakfast was prompt, nice range and hot, with lovely morning welcome.
Nothing. ☺️Breakfast time from 8 so if early traveler may want to see if they can arrange something, if you want breakfast.

What a find! From the moment we checked in to the moment we left it was truly fantastic. The gentleman on check in was friendly but not in an overly pushy way. Some hotels you're greeted with "what time do you want breakfast, do you want to book a table for dinner". There was none of this. Our room was superb and our evening meal absolutely delicious, Elsie our waitress was just delightful. You do have to wait for breakfast, which is fine as you know it's being freshly cooked.
If we had one criticism my husband's breakfast was a little on the cool side, only the baked beans and sausage were hot.

Lovely room, very comfortable, bed was great - accommodation was positioned at the back of The Crown Pub, a really nice pub with fantastic staff and some of the best food you can imagine. We felt very well looked after.
Nothing in particular, but the car park was a bit tricky - spaces were narrow and the car park was full when we arrived. We had to hover for a few minutes before a space became available that we could squeeze into. The hassle of parking was soon forgotten by the warm welcome we received.

The rooms are separate from the pub, they look like little chalets, beautiful inside. Little fridge with milk and bottles of water. Coffee machine and kettle. They even supplied decaffeinated coffee pods. Hairdryer and Straighteners provided. The staff in the pub were friendly and helpful. The breakfast, I had the pancakes and they were lovely. The husband had a large breakfast. There was plenty for him.
For me, the bed was a bit too firm, so I didn't get a great night's sleep, but it was OK for one night and obviously others might like a firm bed so this is not a bad thing!

Very comfortable. Nicely decorated. Nice big TV and a fridge. Option for room service if you wanna be lazy. Provided tea and coffee and milk. We had dinner in the restaurant and breakfast in the morning and all of it was delicious. Also the staff that we spoke to through out the whole of our stay were so nice and friendly. It was service with a smile:) this place far exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be coming back!

The staff were lovely and accommodating. The rooms themselves were beautiful, cosy and comfortable with a nice cottagey vibe. The little touches really raise it above a lot of other places. Our room had a fridge, supplied with fresh milk for teas and coffees. A nice coffee maker and coffee pods were also supplied. Loved the shower room, and the high end toiletries supplied. Breakfast was included in the price, but we also ate at the restaurant. The food was phenomenal, and the servers were very attentive at both breakfast and dinner. We had a fantastic night's sleep. We were attending a festival nearby and chose the Crown to recharge before a long train journey to Glasgow. Absolutely excellent, I hope we can stay again next year too.
Only had a few slight niggles. These are very small things that won't affect an otherwise fantastic review. The toilet seat was askew, which gave me a wee fright when I sat down. Given the quality of everything else, I'm sure staff weren't aware. We were in room 5. I thought maybe there should be instructions on how to use the coffee machine for the uninitiated. Figured it out eventually! And it would have been helpful if the opening and closing times of the restaurant were printed on the information sheet in full. It only had the breakfast times printed, and room service is available only as long as the restaurant is open.

The room was comfortable and clean, with coffee machine and kettle, fridge with milk and bottled water. The staff all wore smiles and offered assistance when needed, from housekeeper to management.
Prices for dining were definitely in the category of "pushing the boat out". A one-off was a luxurious treat. Well presented and delicious but £85+ for 2 steaks, with chips, a mushroom, half a tomato, watercress (why?) some onion rings, a lager and a Guinness? Sadly overpriced. Breakfast was included in the room price. It was good, but again overpriced (we saw the menu) for what we got.

Good cooked breakfast with a choice of standard or extra large. Comfortable room. Good pub restaurant.
Not much in the way of cereal at breakfast. One morning on the continental breakfast they were completely out of granola. In the bedroom cups are removed for cleaning but on one day clean cups weren't brought back. At the bar they said some cups would be brought around shortly but still hadn't arrived when we went out half an hour later.
