Valley View in Dullstroom is a charming offering a delightful blend of comfort and convenience. Situated close to town, it provides easy access to local attractions while maintaining a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The property is well-maintained, with cozy accommodations that make for a relaxing stay. Its proximity to Dullstroom's shops and restaurants adds to its appeal, making it an ideal choice for those looking to explore the area without sacrificing tranquility.

The only suggestion I have is to consider replacing the pillows, as the ones we had were quite worn out and made sleeping less comfortable.

The accommodation was very central and easily accessible to the main town. Also, it was great that we were able to get a booking at the last minute considering it was a very busy weekend in Dullstroom that weekend (I think there was a trail run/MTB race on). It was perfect for what we needed for a 1 night overnight stay before our return home from our holiday. The staff were very pleasant and friendly.

The bed wasn't the most comfortable - very bouncy mattress. The intermittent fire alarm light was also very disruptive for someone who is light sensitive, but I just used my eye mask to get a good night sleep. There were also 2 cats fighting late at night on the property. I eventually I went out and sprayed them with a water bottle - that ceased the fight. Also being so close to the parking, guests that arrived later were very noisy and weren't respectful of guests sleeping. There could also have been a fan in the room as it was quite warm that night - luckily for us, we had a fan packed for our holiday in Hoedspruit that we just came from, so we used that and it at least provided a reprieve from the heat.

Location was good for us as we are happy to walk so could easily walk down to shops /restaurants. Views for hotel spectacular. There was major interior work going on in the foyer one our first day and we were given breakfast free. WE enjoyed two fabulous dinners in the gorgeous dining room...food was amazing and both the chef and owner spoiled us! All the staff were so helpful aand couldnt do enough to make our stay so memorable.

Excellent location walking distance to all the attractions. Back up power during load shedding. Fireplace and electric blankets which keep the room very warm. Very friendly staff and went the extra mile to assist us with the alternative shower option

Tea and coffee facility in room is limited. No milk provided. Shower pivot door is difficult to manoeuvre. We were assisted with using the shower facility at the Spa.

Good location and rooms newly refurbished. Although separated from the main hotel (directly across the road), we enjoyed having access to the hotel facilities - bar and restaurant. Lovely intimate bar and very well appointed dining room where the dinner we had was absolutely exceptional and the breakfast, delicious and well-presented.

A little noisy occasionally from the bar behind the building. Would make a difference if there was a little shelf in the bathroom to put your toiletries and possibly a hook or two to hang the wet towels.

The main hotel is Cosy and has a traditional feeling, exactly what you'd expect from the heritage of the establishment The Spa ladies and experience is absolutely sublime!

The View rooms seemed disconnected in style. It lacked the consistency of the brand.

The rooms are absolutely gorgeous. Very uplifting and welcoming, clean and exquisite. The open fireplace is an absolutely gem in the cold winter months. There's nothing quiet like lying all cuddled up in bed with a gorgeous fire glowing and a good book. A real pleasant little surprise in the heart of Dullstroom. The staff do go out of their way to ensure that your stay is as comfortable and relaxing as possible.

There is absolutely nothing that I can fault.

The place is really nice and it looks exactly like the photos. They have a good restaurant at the hotel just across. The 11 o'clock checkout time is great

The fireplace does not really warm up the whole room, you need to be sitting next to it. They don't have dstv.

Great decor, the room enormous and beautifully decorated, big bathroom, excellent cuisine in the restaurant and great breakfast. everything was impeccable

Both of Waze and Maps have it in a different location, so getting there at night was a challenge, but that is not the property’s fault!
