Cappuccinos and similar coffees should be included in the included breakfast - rather add 50:- to the room price instead of making people pay extra. There was only a choice of one white wine and one red wine in the restaurant and bar and they were not great so more options would be great! A curtain or something to separate the bed area from the bathroom as there is zero privacy if you go to the bathroom as toilet is completely open to the rest of the room

Breakfast was good, area was nice and quiet, the view from the deck is excellent and facilities were clean and comfortable.

Rooms should have a ceiling fan at least, there is only one opening window and it is at the back. There could be a one way screen installed at the entrance door for a bit more privacy, room doors are next to each other. The toilets are visible from the front door so you need to keep the curtains closed for privacy, look at frosting this glass by the toilet at least. Also no small fridge available in the suite so we could not keep water and drinks cool. We experienced some load shedding, look at backup lights in the room.

We loved the hotel, the staff, decor and food exceptional - and cannot be faulted.

Unfortunately, the walls of the rooms (maybe too thin) or bathroom window location - resulted in us hearing everything going on by the couple next door to us ....all night. I would also suggest for anyone going on a romantic week-end - the open toilet is not an option for most people.

The staff was incredibly friendly and provided outstanding service. The rooms were impressively modern, spacious, and impeccably clean. The food was absolutely amazing, and it was a bonus that the property had backup power and hot water available at all times. They provided unlimited wood

Beautiful location . But access to the hotel tricky. Special in dark..Our room beautiful. But miss warm floor in the room. Why did they not add the heat floor. It's a new building and Dullstroom is cold at night most of the year. Staff very friendly. Breakfast good. and a lovely lounge area with a fireplace was a plus

We loved Dunkeld East Hotel for its pristine cleanliness and seamless harmony with nature. The soothing sounds of the lake and birds added to its natural charm. The rooms were both unique and appealing and the scenic driveway from the gate to the reception and rooms was a delightful touch, and the fast, reliable internet ensured a comfortable and connected stay.

Great location and the property is beautifully done. The staff is great at service and making one feel comfortable. The views of the damn are superb and there are boats and bicycles to hire out. Place is close to town and one is able to walk there. We had a really great stay!

The dining menu needs a bit of work, with more options and a they have a beautiful bar but no mixologist for nice cocktails.

Beautiful setting, very tranquil and peacfull. Very friendly staff

No fan or aircon. No water room. We told them it is our anniversary so when we got in the room there was champange and snacks-we where so surprised! When we checked out-they charged us for the champange and snacks. Thought it was complimentary because we did not ask for it.

Beautiful view, very clean and spacious. Wished it had a bar fridge though

The toilet, it doesn’t have privacy. The was a man(white) assisting at the reception, he was shouting at the restaurant staff in front of us. It was very uncomfortable as he was swearing as well. We ate and left asap

Everything about the place, it's so serene. A good place to have a quiet, relaxing time, take a walk around nature with sounds of birds and the sound of water from the lake

I was told that the kitchen was closed at 6:30 pm when I arrived, thought the restaurant was open daily.Also, no fridges in the rooms. Otherwise, everything else is proper,worthwhile . Looking forward to go back again.
