Located in a serene area of Randwick, perfect for having a well rested leisure, but still very accessible with public transport. 5-10 minutes to Cogee beach! Property is clean, amenities is complete, kitchenette’s have everything we need, the staff is very helpful.

Our room is cold, the wall is not insulated, its colder in our room rather than outside, our issues is fixed when we left the window open. We understand spring already, thus heater isnt used anymore, but in our first week staying, Sydney still around 10 degree which quite cold for us. Schedule for kitchenette confusing us sometime, we cannot always utilize the utensils on the kitchen cabinet

The staff were amazing very friendly and helpful. They couldn’t do more.

When we booked through booking.com the reservation included a taxi transfer. This was booked by booking.com before leaving the U.K. When we arrived in Australia after a 24 hour flight there was no taxi waiting for us. This then cost 95 dollars to get to St Marks hotel. When we arrived at the hostel we explained the situation and we were told this wasn’t the first time this has happened. I’ve attempted to complain to booking.com and I’ve had no response. There is also no official email to complain too only their message service.

This is a cute little accommodation (NOT a hotel - as it has no restaurants, pool, concierge, or other traditional hotel features), great room size although bathroom is a bit pokey and not functional (can't open the shower door without getting everything wet, not enough room to put all toiletries, not enough hooks and those which are available are placed quite high).

Wish that there was a longer guest services operating time.....the freezer in the bar fridge in our room was leaking, and we only noticed it in the evening....there was noone to report this to until the next morning as the Reception desk manned hours are 8AM to 6PM

The room and hotel design feels very nice, everything was clean. I like that there are coffee machines, microwaves, cutlery and fridge for simple meals. Also laundry add additional cost.

The room are not perfectly sound proof, so you can hear people walking around upstairs if you are on the ground floor. No lifts as well so you will have to drag your luggage if you have lots that might be something to consider. I also saw ants coming out of the drains from my room - told the receptionist and they had disinfected the room but no room change was possible so still felt a bit uncomfortable to be honest.

Very clean and well equipped heritage building with tall ceilings, comfortable firm beds, adequate pillows. Great shower with good water pressure. Special touches like coffee machine in the communal kitchenette, and seed and nut snack bag at reception.

Air conditioning not functioning. It appeared like someone had been sitting on the bed, when we first arrived and there was a plastic bag sitting in the middle of the room. The room was otherwise spotless and clean. The weekend we were there it was torrentially raining. Unfortunately this meant that we had to run from the main house to our courtyard room through the rain.

Location is perfect for us to connect with Clovelly Road and our family nearby and the surrounding area is beautiful. We were particularly impressed with a young man named Daniel, who worked on the front desk and around the premises, and who helped fix our television and also the key card for our door....nothing was too much trouble for him and he got on to it immediately when asked. We have stayed here on previous occasions and will continue to come back again because we appreciate its friendly and homely atmosphere.

Just that we had some sort of loose connection on our television where the screen kept breaking up making it unwatchable, and that our key card for entry to our room only worked sometimes, but the young man on duty there happily sorted this out when we asked for help. Also miss having an electrical connection in the bathroom to enable the use of a hair dryer/straightener/razor to be more easily used, or even one placed nearer to any other mirror in the room.

Clean and well maintained property with comfy beds. There were some nice touches such as coffee, microwave, toaster and laundry which was nice since I stayed there for 11 days. I had forgot an electric converter and they saved the day by providing one to borrow! When it rained they let us borrow umbrellas! And when we needed luggage stored, the provided that also!! I would absolutely return! It was a wonderful place in a nice neighborhood, and only a 20 minute walk to the beach!

All the little plastic bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc too much plastic. I only used the body wash and ran out quickly! Just provide soap for body and hands. And shampoo/ conditioner on request!

It is a great price. Exactly what I needed. It was within walking distance to Corgee Beach. It’s not downtown but you can walk about 10 minutes to get groceries or eat. Also pick up the Randwick train that takes you straight to the wharf and plenty of great stops along the way.

The “kitchen” is basically a closet with a microwave. But hey it worked fine to heat up my meals. I’m from middle of the US and have one of the many McMansions. So my sense of size should be taken with a grain of salt. I was solo and the deluxe double room was perfect for me. The individual rooms look like closets with a bed FYI.

Such a beautiful place to stay, our room had everything we needed. Quiet location, beautiful gardens with different spots to sit, from the veranda to a peaceful courtyard. Stayed in a family room, beds were very comfortable along with the pillows. Rooms are not overly big, but the small space is well designed and we found we had enough room for the three of us. A good walk to the beach and plenty of restaurants to walk to at night. Also public transport a short walk away. We would definitely stay here again.

There was nothing to add here.

Daniel at Reception was so helpful and accomodating. Such friendly service that made me feel very welcome and at home. The Hotel touches were very well thought out - If you forgot something, they had little extras to purchase If needed. Lovely clean and stylish room. Beautiful tranquil surrounds in Randwick.

Having to take my dishes to the kitchen instead of leaving them in the sink in the room - I just had a lot to carry when walking out - but not a huge issue. In the morning, the closing of doors when people left their rooms was very loud, but at least the doors are safe and have good locks. Again, not a big issue, but was loud at 6am.
