Location is excellent, close to Randwick Light Rail into the city and other regular bus routes. Friendly staff. Spotless new bathroom, great shower. Rooms are insulated for sound. Very nice bed linen. Daily bed-making and room servicing to a high standard.

Pillows were too thick - uncomfortable for a side sleeper. The window in my room was not see-through. No lift, and the thick carpet on the stairs is a bit slippery. No breakfast provided in the hotel - this was an inconvenience.

I was impressed with the cleanliness and overall presentation of the hotel ,each room having it's own ensuite was a pleasant change compared with a few of the older style pubs i've stayed in in the past. We were in town to attend a concert at the Horden Pavilion so the location of the hotel was ideal and suited us to a tee. Unfortunately we only got to stay the one night this time but we would very much like to go back again and stay a bit longer.

Not all the beers on tap at the pub we're available at both bars which was an inconvenience, when we were having dinner in the bistro one of our party who was drinking Resches had to go out to the sports bar to get a drink. And when he got there there was a lineup at the bar and only one person serving which was frustrating.

The hotel is super conveniently located for gigs at the Roundhouse, and there’s a light rail stop nearby. The bed was comfy and the food at the attached bistro was good. I was pleasantly surprised that the room was very quiet despite being right on the street. The bistro closes at 10:30pm and the bar closes at midnight, so it’s not hard to get a good night’s sleep! Free parking is a huge bonus as well.

The water temperature in the shower was a bit off.

So close to the light rail, and a short skip away from beaches. Communication was easy, staff when booking and arriving/leaving were super polite and helpful. We were given an accessible room when I asked for assistance and it made so much difference to the ease of our stay. Clean, tasteful room, comfy bed, quiet spot even being in the middle of Randwick. Great place.

Perhaps the option or provision of a light (continental) breakfast? Would be handy for early starts. The absence of it would not prevent us from staying again though.

I've stayed a few times and like coming back to a familiar place. Very comy, and excellent location. Nice to have the option of eating in the bistro as well.

In the evening the guests have to use the side entrance. There was no light over the side door this time nor the last time. It's hard to see the steps on a dark rainy night. I think it's dangerous. I reported it last time but it hadn't been fixed. I reported it again this time.

No face cloths in the bathroom. It was great to park our small car in the small car section of the car park until we went to leave and found a very large vehicle parked next to us on the exit side. It was very tight getting out. Luckily my better half is a great driver. Overall it was fantastic & wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it or stay there again.

Very central location as near buses & light rail stops.Close to shops & cafes at Randwick Junction & The Spot. I was not disturbed with the pub noise downstairs for a Friday night. The room was small but it had modern facilities with new ensuite bathroom. The room was clean & the bed was very comfortable.

I had no complaints. It suited my needs for an overnight stay & only used the room to sleep.

The room and the Hotel itself has been completely renovated since I last visited a few years ago. Very modern and comfortable and just the perfect location with the light rail just a short 5 minute walk across the road.

Price was a little expensive, but that was to be expected on a Saturday night and also with the location to the light rail and the City. Would definitely look to stay again in the future.

The room was beautifully clean. The location was perfect for us - our daughter lived 5 mins walk away. Very close to public transport also. We had a drink in the bar which was enjoyable.

We stayed on a Friday night and had been warned about the noise but, to be honest, it wasn't too bad. Once we turned off the light we could hear a slight thump thump but it didn't keep us awake.
