We really loved our time at TAG! from the facility to the location to our room, all of it was impressive. We stayed in the Tadhana and loved the privacy, the swim-up pool and layout. The food we found was good, not mind-blowing but good enough for us - especially the pizza. It was a quick ride into town via Trike for about 40 php which was great. We loved all the lounge areas by the pool and giant swinging beds to lay in during the day. The staff were helpful and it was nice they had a convenience store on site and a coffee shop. The bar staff were incredibly helpful and friendly as well. We ordered an exclusive island-hopping excursion and had a great time with JV and the team that took us out. 10/10 would recommend that.

1. The music from outside was really loud in our room - there was a convention or something happening and they had performers in the evening and it sounded like it was right outside our door. Thankfully, it wrapped up before 10pm but if we had our kids there, putting them to bed early would've been problematic. 2. The excursion team were polite but we felt like they were acting a little funny... almost like they were overcharging us for an excursion and offering us a discount to sweeten the pot. Just some of the whispering the team was doing back and forth when we were paying made me think that we were swindled into overpaying... We had a great time on the excursion, but the non-verbal body language seemed off from that team.

Switched from a very noisy hotel at the end of town to Tag Resort outside of town and asked for a quiet room - the front desk made sure of this. Would choose Tag Resort again, it is very easy with Tricycle to reach the center. Overall great staff, so friendly and welcoming. Clean room, very good bathroom amenities. Relaxed pool vibes, spacious room.

Breakfast choices need to be improved for this price range compared to other hotels we stayed in on the Philippines. Higher costs for transport and tours when booked inside the hotel. Example: private van to airport for our room 3.000 compared to 2.500 in the hotel our friends were staying - even further away from the airport. Such a big surcharge is not justified.

Wonderful staff (really kind and helpful), beautiful place (loving their pool area and room is clean and looks new). The location is in between airport and city proper so just right. Whenever it gets rainy at night, you need not go elsewhere for dinner as their restaurant serves good food and also there is entertainment (a band or fire dance). If you need to go to town proper, just request the reception for a tricycle and they will gladly call for you. Their partner tour company, Bathala, took care of our two tours for 2 days and we super enjoyed it, even with a toddler (they were super caring and lovely with my daughter).

They can get busy especially when there is a bit of crowd checking in or checking out so if you have a bit of things with you (ie multiple luggages), especially during check out, request in advance assistance to carry stuff to lobby. But if a staff sees you carrying luggage, guaranteed they will assist you.

The hotel overall has exceeded our expectations. Amazing value for money. The room was crazy nice - we booked the one with the pool access view and it was totally worth it. Good and well arranged excursions via the front desk. 15’ to the city. Good location.

Staff is friendly but needs a bit more training in regards to handling orders or being well coordinated. They are not confident in their services yet.

Love the peace and quiet. Pool is also nice and that there is a cheaper option for food upstairs since their restaurant can be quite on the pricey side. The resort and rooms are clean. The breakfast buffet has a lot of options. The staff at the reception and those who assists for calls are quick though. Had a problem with the toilet at 2am and they were quick to assist us.

It is a bit farther away from the centre and you need to take a tricycle ride for it. We availed the tours outside the hotel, so we had to go to the port independently and we were required to pay for towel rentals for the tour. I was expecting that for the fee I was paying the resort, that we would already be allowed to bring the towels and just pay for the fee if it gets lost. Some of the female staff looks almost always grumpy, had to approach male staff for querries since they are more on the approachable side.

The hotel is quite nice, the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The pool area is also quite nice. We had dinner in the hotel once and the food was good and relatively affordable (considering it’s inside a hotel).

The resort is quite a long walk from Coron centre. It’s possible to ask a tricycle at the reception desk (we paid 40 PHP per person each way) and it takes about 10 minutes. Breakfast options were quite limited for a resort (specially at this price point). For instance, there wasn’t even a basic caffe latte or cappuccino. Chairs with shade by the pool were quite limited for the hotel capacity. After about 10 am it was difficult to find a bed or chair in the shade.

This resort has a lovely garden setting and is peaceful and relaxing. We spread our family of four across two deluxe rooms as a special treat for Christmas. We all enjoyed swimming in the lagoon pool right off our patio, lounging in the ample seating around our room, and ordering room service when we were too lazy to go to the restaurant. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms were attractive and well-equipped. Also, it was nice that staff always greeted guests warmly.

These are very minor things and didn't have a significant impact on our stay. It would of been nice if the rooms connected into a family suite as they were in the same building. My husband's room was next to the pool filter or pump which made quite a bit of noise. Because of this he chose to sit on our side when relaxing outdoors.

The villa was great, loved the fact that the pool was right outside the back door. Air con, fridge and dressing gown which were great as we were missing these things in some of the other hotels we stayed at. Good breakfast and the fact that there was a team to book boat trips / transfers etc with was super convenient, which were really high quality trips as well. The staff are also all really lovely and willing to go the extra mile!

The dinners weren’t great, there’s a good amount of choice but we ate there twice and didn’t enjoy our meals that much either of the days, preferred to eat out in town.

Location is in the quiet part of town but still very accessible. The resort is sprawling. It has 2 big pools, both with plenty of lounge chairs & nooks where one can just hang out the entire day. Coffee shop, convenience store and food stalls available in front of the hotel where one can buy cheaper food if you don’t like to eat inside the hotel all the time. Staff were all friendly & helpful.

While the tour service at the front desk made it convenient for guests (esp first-timers) to book tours, I found out they were charging much higher than what was available from the primary tour operators.

All the staff were very friendly and check-in was very easy, with a separate counter for booking tours and airport/ferry transfers. Everything you need is on-site, with a beautiful pool/pool-bar area. Top-floor room has beautiful views of the resort and the pool villas looked incredible. The aesthetic is generally very beautiful. A mix of natural and clean. Food was pretty good, with live music and fire dancing for entertainment while eating. Felt very safe during our whole trip. I'd definitely recommend this resort to anyone staying in Coron for a few days. We would happily have stayed here a few more days!
