Loved the location, loved how staff communication was including the lovely lady who cleaned our room and asked permission to enter while we were at breakfast. The breakfast was divine. Also the two different men serving breakfast were brilliant and had excellent customer service.

The unfortunate smell of the hot tub when it first comes on smells like sewage and it is unfortunate that everything is in complete darkness after 11pm, it is eery as it is in complete darkness surrounded by farmland we also had the hotel to ourselves for the first night so was actually quite scary to go outside after 11pm. The bed in the hart suite was quite firm and hard which was disappointing but I suppose that can be a personal preference as some people like the mattress like this.

The setting and surroundings of the hotel are amazing. The staff are out of this world friendly polite and nothing is too much trouble, they go above and beyond to help you. They're accommodating and attentive. Food was very delicious and tasty with a good selection. The facilities are excellent, showers are large and the water pressure was powerful. The beds were comfortable, with pillows soft but supporting and duvets soft but warm. Towels/linen smelt wonderfully fresh. The room was very clean with great views over the idyllic gardens. Tea/coffee making facilities in the room and large TV (if needed). Breakfast was included in room rate which was a nice touch and very reasonable rate for the venue setting. Overall the exceptionally friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere of the venue were completely amazingly.

The location was lovely; countryside surrounded (including a Alpaca we could see from our window) There was plenty of parking and the staff made checking in very easy including booking us a table at the restaurant for dinner as we arrived around 7pm and I checked reservations online prior and couldn’t get a space. Our room was a nice size with a king size bed, the shower was spacious and powerful! A gorgeous gift basket was left in our room which was a fabulous touch. Would 100% return here again if in the area.

There was nothing about our room that we didn’t like, it had everything we needed and we are overall very happy with our stay.

Staff were always happy to deal with any requests. For instance, when we asked for extra tea bags in the room, they were provided immediately and without any question.

The breakfast was disappointing especially on the Saturday morning when the restaurant was busy. The sausage and bacon was undercooked, all 4 of the poached eggs served to our table were overcooked, and the whole meal was cold. Having said that, the waiter took our comments on board and offered a replacement.

Beautiful location. Very clean. Spacious room. Staff were friendly.

We were warned in advance there was a wedding on night of our stay. Not hotel’s fault but we were disturbed by noisy wedding guests coming in and out of their rooms at night. Breakfast was rather disappointing. Only granola or muesli. No other cereals. Cooked breakfast wasn’t hot - plates were cold. A little dry too. Pastries were somewhat stale. Tea and coffee were ready made in jugs and not served fresh to tables.

A nice, modern, clean and spacious room. Although cool when we first arrived, the aircon/heating soon warmed the room up. The bed was very comfortable.

Although the cooked breakfast was very nice, it was let down by the help yourself tea & coffee. The jug of tea was stewed and far too strong (and we like our tea strong!). It would also have been nice to have some separate toast & marmalade.

Super room with Sauna and Jacuzzi and very large bed. Super furnishings. Romeo Juliet balcony with open views. Complimentary drinks in room fridge. Ample parking.

Bed as hard as nails. Fine for romping but not good for sleeping. Breakfast standard lower than expected. Salmon and scrambled egg on muffin. Cold. Muffin also cold and not toasted. Full English. Toast rock hard with overcooked egg. Cold coffee. Very pleasant staff at breakfast time.

The room was large, and had everything we needed. Staff are excellent, very welcoming. Nice decor, the view was great a very warm and inviting space. Loved the restaurant and Louie our waiter! Very knowledgeable about the menu and the other locations the hotel is a part of. Delicious meals! Peaceful location, easy parking.

The only negative was having to walk outside in the rain to go to the restaurant from the rooms.

I booked the executive suite as a birthday present for my son and his fiancé so sadly didn't get to stay myself. But based on the photos they took and what they told me about their stay I'll definitely be booking again for myself! The room was large and luxurious, they loved the bed and the fabulous bath! The food was of excellent quality and looked fab! They were also given a glass of champagne in the evening that was complimentary with the room, i wasn't aware of that when booking and thought it was a lovely touch! The decor and newly refurbished dining room were apparently lovely, They had a fantastic time and I can't thank you enough. When I phoned to check my booking I spoke to a very polite and delightful young lady, I think her name was Lyndsey.

No complaints here, keep up the fantastic work!

Reception was good, and friendly. It was a wet and dark windy night when we arrived, so it was good to find everything in really good condition. Room was very clean and looked as though it had just been decorated. Dinner was in the bar, as restaurant was being refurbished.Menu was a bit limited due to that, with no starters offered. Wine list was reasonable. Had a pint pulled but had to send it back as barrel was off. No problem or quibbling with that. Breakfast was good, with what appeared local sourced food, nice sausage!

Only instant coffee offered at breakfast. Don't normally do that. Music on evening was very loud, and we asked to turn it down which they did, but it was really loud for background music!
