This hotel was quite satisfactory. Provided convenient access to National Harbor's convention center across the river.

When we arrived for breakfast 20 minutes before end-of-serving time, there were no plates, 2 sausage patties, and no second hot food beyond eggs. The oatmeal pot had been scraped to the bottom and the 1-minute pancake maker was non-operational, with no sign indicating this. Initially, the server, who was busy cleaning up pots in the back, was unwilling to bring out any other food. The front desk did persuade her to bring out something more. She brought out more eggs, which was the one hot food not already missing.

LONG POST ALERT : so on 2/10 upon arriving I was greeted by Matt with a big bright smile with welcoming energy. We giggled from the moment I walked through the doors all while he mutiltaked checking me into my beautiful spacious king suite. I loved how everything was clean , neatly organized and comfortable. Everything was so well prepared for a weekend away from home to celebrate my birthday so much that I ended up adding additional stays to what was just supposed to overnight … Waking up Monday morning I headed to the lobby where I met Ms. Debra who was apart of the hospitality group serving a warm comforting breakfast Ms.Debra’s mannerism and southern comfort energy made me feel like a child all over again although the breakfast was already prepared it was her nurturing energy that had me feeling like I was sitting directly at my grandmothers kitchen table . Later on that day I met Axel and Courtney at the front desk who were added to my list of amazing people and Lastly as my trip was coming to an end I decided one more day couldn’t hurt so I called down to the front desk Tuesday morning and Daisy was on the other end she was so patient with hearing my reasoning and assured me that staying another night was no problem at all … Moral of the story if you thinking of staying anywhere else look no more because the HOILDAY INN WILL exceed your expectations and have you NEVER wanting to leave ... truly a HOME away from HOME THANK YOU MATT Ms. DEBRA ,Axel ,Courtney. Daisy and everyone who contributed to such an AMAZING stay I pray for many blessings and wish to see you all again in the future days to come …

The staff was friendly amd efficient during check in. I enjoyed hotbtub in room. It did need some maintenance( one jet missing pieces) and i noticed it seemed to have been cracked at one point. I was away for mommy relaxing night so it did its job. The woman working breakfast was such a pleasure kept a smile on the whole time and made sure eveyone and everything was good. Food was perfect and environment was chill so to sum it up. Exactly what I needed

The hot tub. I brought my own spa oil for hot tub tho it would be nice for the price to have some goodies for hot tub rooms. I wanted more bath bombs instead of makeup remover while soaking.

I love Holiday Inn Express and Suite hotels . So far Holiday Inn everywhere ,whatever State maybe they keep their standards. Kudos to your company. You are now my go to everywhere we go and stay. Thank you for giving your best in all aspects of your hotel.

Sad to have the spa unrepair or something. They should keep their indoor swimming pools and spa open all year round. We would love that.

Pleasantly surprised at the quality of our stay. The room was super clean. The bathroom was super clean and set up very well. Our king sized bed was very comfortable and fluffy pillows. Parking was also convenient. The morning free breakfast was well stocked with a nice variety of both hot and cold food. We were visiting family in the area and will definitely stay there again.

I have no negative opinions of this place.

The staff and breakfast were excellent!!

The proximity to DC… we had to Uber quite a bit. We booked this hotel thinking that it was closer to the metro line. Also, the air conditioning system in the room needed updating. It would cycle off periodically and the room would get hot.

The staff was wonderful to me and my boyfriend. The breakfast was superb. The cleaning staff was so sweet and awesome. I felt safe being in the hotel and the TV Channel line up was great for our stay cation.

The keys in the morning would act wonky. We couldn't get it and had to have it scanned.

The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast we had. The coffee was delicious. The hotel was close to our relatives the hotel was easy on and off the highway. The checkin was easy and fast.

We came down to Alexandria for a family event. We only came back to hotel to sleep. And it was exactly what we needed.

Deborah is excellent, courteous, friendly, spoke to me each morning, offered “ anything you need?” She is a great asset to this hotel. Kitchen area is kept clean and tidy, comfortable atmosphere.

Floors in lobby were dirty. Never mopped while we were there.

We were moved to stay next door under the SpringHill suites, which was conveniently located right next to the building. Assuming they have similar, or rather a dispersed amount of staff members running both properties, making for a somewhat efficient communication between the two. parking was also easy, but perhaps not if ever at full capacity usage. Getting into the property was not a hassle for us either. Staff was kind, resourceful, and patient with us. They reminded us of all facilities, accounted for any late night reminders of noise, and kept stays welcoming. Eggs were good too.

The view was nothing to behold, but it’s located by the highway which was easy for us. There was no hand soap provided, but i brought my own anyhow. Knowing the staff, if I asked them they would’ve most likely have gotten me one; just got a little lazy. The breakfast was okay, i kinda wish they had more selections on cereals and milk. I like a little fat in my milk; 2% more to be exact, but i digress. It was still good for a complimentary meal. While I’m here though the eggs are good, y’all gotta do more with em. Also, i saw the prepackaged waffles which was a good substitute. Idk if there ever was a waffle iron, but having that would always get me in the mood in the morning. Then it’d put me in a food coma for the rest of the day.
