Magical! Wonderful top floor (3rd storey) rooms located on a charming small piazza. The rooftop area is a dream come true, and rare for Cefalu, with views of the sea, the mountains, the Rocca cliffs, and over the old town. Some room(s) have a balcony with views as well. Amazing full breakfast, and you have access to kitchen fridge and tea/coffee-making if needed. Nicole runs this extremely well and is super-helpful. Her English is excellent. Spotlessly clean, comfortable, modern renovation inside and tastefully decorated. Great beds and quality bed linens, modern bathroom. Excellent lighting in room and electrical sockets close to hand (not always the case in many places). 110% recommended.

There are too many wonderful things to say about my stay at Scirocco! Nicole and Maria are the kindest, most genuine hosts that have created a lovely space for those traveling to Cefalù. The room I stayed in was incredibly comfortable, equipped with well functioning air conditioning and a beautiful view of the town. They provide filtered water which was great to fill up my water bottle before a day of exploring. The breakfast was delicious and allowed an opportunity to meet fellow travelers staying at Scirocco. The terrace is really where you should spend your time - the views are absolutely incredible!! Bars/cafes/restaurants/train station/beaches are all within walking distance. Book your stay here - you won’t regret it!! ☺️

The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was on a rooftop terrace and was wonderful. The views were awesome. The room was quiet at night. The location was very central. We were advised to make a reservation in a paid parking lot about six minutes away. When we arrived there was one spot left.

Anyone staying here should be aware that you have to carry your luggage up three flights of stairs. My main drawback was that the mattress was a memory foam squishy mattress and was uncomfortable. It felt like it should be replaced.

You have to park your car 4 minutes away and take the never ending steps to third floor, but when you get there, it’s absolutely amazing! The host was so friendly, we texted our arrival time in Whatsapp and she was waiting and showing us all different kind of suggestions for our stay. The location is perfect - in the middle of everything and you can walk everywhere. We had a room with balcony overlooking the square, but the windows are so thick, it’s totally quiet at night. Also loved the roof terrace, where you can sit and enjoy sunset with a bottle of wine. Breakfast on the terrace was amazing too, prepared by the host’s mother. Thanks, we really loved it all!

I will always remember my stay at Scirocco. It is on an excellent location close to everything, I'm still trying to overcome the magical breakfasts at the terrace where you can see all Cefalú while eating delicious home-made food, drinking coffee and watching the sea. My bedroom was spotless and comfortable as well as the kitchen. Apart from the amazing place, Nicole is always there to help you or give local recommendations, very good person. I booked this place because the comments were so good. If you are reading mine now... well, don't hesitate one more second. Grazie :)

Perfect spot - couldn’t have been better!! The rooftop terrace is AMAZING - no place can compete with this!!! The room was top notch and the breakfast was great! Close to all that you’d like to see/visit!

The lady being responsible for serving breakfast and cleaning rooms took too much space and made us very uncomfortable - she was in our face too much; Complaining about the other guests and gave us too much chit chat and unnecessary information - it made it difficult to really enjoy the breakfast and had to relax

Loved the location, the rooftop views were stunning and the host is approachable and friendly. The three flights of stairs up are fine, and I found them easy enough. Everything is clean, and the showers are hot.

My only critique would be the rooms interior design being harsh on the eye, and outdated, making it uncomfortable to spend time relaxing in the room on winter evenings. My room window also overlooked the communal area and stairs to the roof which didn’t help. However, I’m a solo traveler so I spend the days hiking and the evenings relaxing so I appreciate a cosy relaxing environment in the evenings. This wouldn’t be a problem in summer as you have the gorgeous roof.

Scirocco was a perfect choice for us!  It is centrally located right in the car free historical area, yet only two blocks from the beach. It is an easy walk from the train station. We had the corner room with huge windows and loved it!  The breakfast on the rooftop was amazing with home baked goodies. We certainly enjoyed the international guests that we met at our communal breakfast table. The owner was gracious, and very helpful. She gave good directions and even make restaurant reservations for us. Cefalu was definitely one of the major highlights in our 3 weeks in Italy.

There are many stairs, and no elevator to this B&B. That was good for us and we did that many times a day. It might not be a good choice for someone with significant mobility issues.

Our stay at Scirocco was simply perfect. Nicole was so kind, attentive and accommodating! Her recommendations on lidos and spots to eat were top notch. The rooms were great, but the view from the terrace was exceptional. The location was central and close by to both the train station, the beach and the town. I would recommend Nicole’s place to anyone, and will 100% be returning!

The rooftop terrace was unmatched!! Stunning panoramic views of the beach and la rocca mountain. The staff felt like they became family and were so kind. They had beach umbrellas and games to borrow as well. The breakfast was beyond our expectations and so lovely to wake up to each morning. Also it was in such a central perfect location.

The decor inside is a bit dated. Feels like it was decorated in 2003 and then not touched since. It was a 4 floor walk up which was a bit challenging with our suitcases.
