Bathrooms need renovating as they are old. The place is quite pricey for the quality of the rooms and bathrooms. Lack of variety in breakfast offerings No ice available on the property and you can't order simple sandwiches or meals/drinks should you want this so you must make sure you have all your own food and drink. Only small bar fridge is available in the room hence space is limited. Extremely annoying roosters are kept on the golf course property in front so you hear them constantly although this is not a fault of the property.

I definitely loved everything except the breakfast such that I did not bother waking up for it the next day. Everything there is beautiful, the ocean view from our room was out of this world as one wakes up all one see is the ocean and the sound of the waves was great.

As I have said above the breakfast was horrible for me! the eggs were dry and the coffee could not even drink it. I must stress this, the fact that I did not like the breakfast doesn't mean that everyone did not like it! and it also doesn't mean that you reading this review will not like it, it just means that I did not enjoy it.

Great welcome and orientation to the property. They kindly made a breakfast pack as I was leaving early for Comrades! Amazing facilities with beautiful views! Wish I had more time at the property but will definitely be wanting to stay there again if I'm in the area. Thanks for everything!

Breakfast was very good and the location was excellent. However, some of the magic was missing owing to the situation as detailed below.

The consequences of the recent heavy rains was clear to see. The wooden deck facing the ocean had been washed away as a result of a bank-slide whilst the swimming pool had been emptied, presumably as a precaution. An adjourning building was under construction following the collapse of part of it's veranda. Thus, the outdoor area resembled a construction site with all of its busyness and differed vastly from the brochure. The owners should consider giving prior warning to future guests regarding this situation.

Beautifully decorated huge rooms with stunning views. Very comfortable beds. Silent aircon, ceiling fan, nice size bar fridge, tea coffee station, kettle. Great tv channel selection. Delicious breakfast. Lerina and Angel were very helpful. All staff are great. Gorgeous gardens.

Loved the location, ambiance, pool and views. Rooms beautifully decorated and spacious. Plunger coffee in the room was great.

The guesthouse is easy to get to and well positioned to get from there to meetings in the city center. The view is absolutely great!

The telephone and wi-fi signals were not good in the room. There are spots in the garden where it is slightly better.

Staff very friendly and where the place is located

In their rooms they have the old fan lights on the ceiling that is very dusty, old bar fridges that are rusty, no backup generator when there's loadshedding were in the dark for 2 hours.

Plenty options to choose from for breakfast. The staff was friendly. Best is that the owners were very friendly and always visible and helping with the service. Best location, despite the destruction that the floods had caused. The friendliness of the owners was enough to make me decide to return to their place later in the year...

nothing about the facility. The rain which was part of the storms that had hit Durban in the same week cannot be a reflection of the facility. The facility on its own is exceptional, the service is tops.
