The hotel location is great. It is close to supermarkets, garage, few restaurants and just 10-15 min drive to Malelane kruger Gate. There is a great view of the crocodile river, while you are at the hotel restaurant. The room was spacious, had an aircon which came in handy. The hospitality was great, the staff was friendly, and even offered blankets while we were sitting near the restaurant

There was a smell coming from the bathroom pipes, but this didn't bother us that much to dislike the place. Would have loved if the rooms had a microwave to warm food.

As the name says: an inn with a (perfect) view on the Crocodile River. We've seen rhino's, water buck, hippo's, and other wild animals on both sides and in the river. What a splendid place to start an/or end your day. The rooms are spacious, and modern, with all facilities you need. The Riverview Inn is located only 10 minutes drive from Malelane Gate to visit Kruger Park. We certainly go back and spend some more time.

Due to the load shedding, there was not always a dessert available in the restaurant. But that is only a minor point and didn't withheld us for havin a great dinner, looking out to the hippo's and rhino's.

Location is right on the crocodile river and you can watch elephants, hippos, and lots of birds right from the balcony. The room was clean and roomy and the internet worked well. There's a desk and mini fridge which made it easy to stay for a couple days and do some work.

I didn't understand how to order at the restaurant. They are open all day but only seem to serve during certain times. I think they want you to pre-order but no one explained that to me so I ended up waiting a long while for my dinner.

The location was outstanding, with a deck and dining that literally protrudes into the Kruger, on the edge of the Crocodile banks, so game viewing and birding were great. The rooms were spacious and we like the fact that they were on the same level as the pool. Great wifi in the rooms and secure off road parking.

The quality of the food could be improved and perhaps easy additions like burgers and chips and pizzas for kids could be added to the menu.

We loved every moment of our stay at Riverview Inn. Beautiful rooms, spotlessly clean with comfortable beds and great showers. The location cannot be beat. Right on the banks of the Krokodil River, just perfect to appreciate the abundant wildlife in the area. The food at the restaurant was delicious with great service! What sets this property apart is the staff. Professional and friendly they are always ready to go out of their way to be of assistance. Thank you for an amazing stay. We can’t wait to go back!

Absolutely fantastic place to stay… Great location, so close to the park and can see lots of different animals from your room. The Staff were incredible and were very helpful, hard working and happy…the rooms were very comfortable and clean….the food both breakfast and evening dinner was very tasty and great value for money….in fact the whole whole Inn was great value for money!

We needed a place for the night we landed at Kruger Mpumalanga airport. After renting a car and driving about 50 minutes following the staff's detailed driving directions, we arrived at this hotel around 9p. A staff member was waiting for us (we were the last arrivals) and he helped carry our luggage straight into our room. And although their restaurant had already closed at 8p, we'd arranged for a small snack to be in our room so we wouldn't go to bed hungry. What was actually there was a huge variety: a large plate of sandwiches, a bunch of fresh fruit, some hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, water, and juice! It was more than we two could eat. The heater worked wonderfully (it was a cold night), the giant king- sized bed was firm but comfortable, and the location made driving to Malelane Gate super easy the next morning.

We stayed over at Riverview Inn on our way in and again a few nights later, out of Kruger National Park. It felt like we had added two nights to our visit to the park, as if we were still somewhere inside Kruger on the banks of a major river with no sound or sight or thought of the so-called civilization outside. Dinner was provided on time and on the deck over-looking the Crocodile River. The food was expertly prepared by Sindile and Nhlanhla and their friendly staff. Well done guys and girls!!

If I have to mention one thing that bothered us it was the noise from a group of inconsiderate party- goers continuing next door to us until well past midnight on the second night that we stayed at Riverside Inn on 24th November.

The view from the Inn is exceptional. Particularly great for bird watchers and people who are visiting Kruger and want to see a few animals from the restaurant and pool deck. The staff were also extremely warm and welcoming and made us feel at home immediately.

We had a really great stay, so it's hard to say there was anything we didn't like, except I have a terrible bug phobia and the restaurant in the evening attracts a lot of flying critters. Had to keep my insect repellant handy.

The view was amazing. From the first minute we arrived, we could spot hippos, elephant, warthogs, or waterbuck on the river bank. The customer service was very friendly and helpful. The room is basic and matched the pictures - no surprises. It was cleaned daily with towels and water resupplied. Wifi was good and even worked on the terrace.

Loved everything about our stay. The town of Malelane didn't offer much for restaurants and shopping.
