The staff were very pleasant and extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We visited during a heatwave and they provided a fan for us. Also gave us extra pillows on request. The location is perfect for visiting Brighton. Regular buses into the city centre, from the stop, right outside the hotel. Takes about 10 minutes. Highly recommend the city saver ticket for Brighton and Hove buses if making regular excursions. The rooms were clean and serviced every day. Plenty of hot water for showers. The bed was comfortable. Everything we needed for a visit to Brighton,to see family, without the mega tariff of some of the bigger hotels. Plenty of free parking too...bonus! We had a room at the front of the hotel facing a busy road. There was some traffic noise but we managed to sleep even with the window open. This is the second time we have stayed here this year. We are already planning a third.

The decor could do with a freshen up but that didn't detract from our stay. They appear to be making improvements but obviously this takes time.

Lovely lil hotel. Very friendly, nice, honest and genuine staff. Welcoming and accepting of me they all were (I have autism). They even permitted me to film / live stream my experience for my YouTube channel 😎 Also room was bigger and better than I expected. And breakfast selection was quite lovely too 💜

I don't want to be negative, but unfortunately hairdryer in my room wasn't working. But I wasn't too bothered as I just used a towel that was given anyway 🙂

Having read some awful reviews of the hotel, I was concerned that we'd booked the wrong place. However, we were welcomed by the recptionist, our room was quiet (as requested), well decorated, furnished and generally 'appointed'. The bed aws very comfirtable and the bedding was spotelss and fresh. We had good night's sleep, which is what we'd booked for.

The hotel's web side offered breakfast including cooked food, which we discovered on arraival was not on offer. The website needs updating. The cold water tap on the washbasin leaks water from the tap stem when the tap is used. It deliveres the required water but beeds attantiion

The lady running the hotel had excellent interpersonal skills and very high standards of service. She was welcoming and friendly - even though I arrived in a dishevelled state after a long day. The facilities were spot on - old enough to be friendly and welcoming - but clean and well supplied. I'm not sure I can mention this these days - but she was also a very attractive lady. Sadly I'm much too old for that to be more than a passing bonus.

I suppose in an ideal world I wouldn't have been on the main road side. As it was a very last minute booking - beggars can't be choosers. Another time - I would opt for a room on the other side.

The hotel was conveniently placed for all of the activities I had planned. The room was comfortable with a large en-suite. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. There was a tv in the room.

The decor was drab, and it made the room dark. The curtains wouldn't open fully, which kept the room dark. Some of the grouting needs cleaning. The tops of plug sockets need dusting.

This hotel felt like a 5 Star hotel. The staff are obviously incredibly hard working and bent over backwards to assist me. I am disabled, but navigated fine. The manager even came to my rescue in the morning as my car had broken down. I cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

Nothing not to like. It's a stand out place in Brighton. If you are coming to Brighton, stay here. The other stand out place for swimming, sauna and gym, is the queen's hotel health club.

Very obliging front desk staff - very easy process - no messing around. Flexible in and out. Room very good - lots of electric sockets, good size cups with generous tea/coffee/milk sachets. Quiet, warm with opening windows. Very comfortable beds with nice bed linen. Generous sized rooms and big bathroom. A proper home from home.

Hot water for shower is a bit hit and miss. Parking is a bit tight, but always found a space. Can't think of anything else.

Room wasn’t properly cleaned as on arrival as i wws greeted by toilet pan full of turds that hadn’t been flushed an obviously not cleaned, after this i didn’t bother checking elsewhere an just hoped it had been cleaned, altho radiator was on an warm only the settings were obviously low so i had to sleep in my dressing gown in my bed.

Staff are really friendly & helpful. This hotel is ideally situated for trips into Brighton. Really good bus service just outside the hotel.

The decor needs some attention, although since we were last there improvements have been made. It appears to be ongoing. It doesn't spoil the stay. The many positives outweigh the not so negative.

Coach and bus stop right outside. Literally. Very convenient as buses very frequent. Double Bed very comfortable and lovely fresh bedding/towels. Hotel was warm/heated. Good size room. Blanket in the wardrobe. Tea making facilities. Away from busy town and near a lovely big Park.

Coach and bus stop right outside. Literally! My room at the front and window latch didn't close so I had to listen to traffic coming down the busy road/bus & coach route 'til early hours. Where I live is very quiet 🥺 WiFi was rubbish.
