This is a beautiful 5-start hotel in a prime location. It's close to the MRT and there's 2 nearby shopping malls, Plaza Indonesia (high-end luxury shops) which is connected to the hotel, and Grand Indonesia (upper middle class shops) which is just across the road. It has a pool, a salon (doesn't cut kids' hair), gym, and 4 restaurants with 1 of them open 24hrs/day. The rooms are well appointed, comfortable, clean, and big. There's lots of shopping, restaurants, and cafes nearby. My wife loved the restaurant decor, she said it was so pretty. I loved the breakfast, it was wonderful and always had lots of options; several cooked-to-order.

Acoustic disturbance. I had sleepless nights. Cannot believe the renovation done without prioritizing the biggest issue.

During my stay at the Jakarta Grand Hyatt, there were several aspects that truly stood out and contributed to a delightful experience. Firstly, the breakfast at the hotel was exceptional. The wide array of options, from local delicacies to international cuisine, ensured a diverse and satisfying start to each day. The quality of the food, coupled with the inviting ambiance of the dining area, made breakfast a highlight of my stay. Another notable aspect was the hotel's convenient location, providing easy access to various attractions and business centers in Jakarta. Whether I wanted to explore the vibrant city or attend meetings, the Grand Hyatt's strategic placement made it effortless to navigate and saved valuable time. Moreover, the staff at the Jakarta Grand Hyatt played a crucial role in enhancing my overall satisfaction. From the moment I checked in to the time of departure, the staff members were consistently courteous, professional, and attentive. Their genuine hospitality created a welcoming atmosphere that made me feel at home throughout my stay.

- The hotel is connected to Plaza Indonesia Mall, and nearby Grand Indonesia Mall. - Varied and wonderful breakfast buffet. - Kind and helpful staff.

- Classic elevators' system, does not accomplish the first order, instead, it stops in many floors to get passengers. - No self-service coffee machine in the breakfast restaurant, only by order. - In my last days, children were housed on the 19th floor, although it was supposed to be for guests seeking for a quiet floor.

Everything was fantastic - excellent location, wonderful breakfast spread, comfortable rooms, nice gym and pool, very talented Merj Band at the lounge, exceptional steak at the C restaurant and very courteous & friendly staff.

The bath towels were rather old and not fluffy. Just a small not so positive point to highlight but this did not deter us from having the best family holiday in Grand Hyatt Jakarta.

The room had a small walk in wardrobe. The staff were friendly and helpful. The stay was comfortable. Also liked that they provided us with a plate of fruit daily.

The Nespresso coffee machine became jammed. Had to call housekeeping staff to help. Also, the bottled water was hard to open. Had to call upon the friendly housekeeping staff to help. When opening one of the bottles, he even cut his finger on the metal cap.

The property went through a major revamp and it looks unrecognizable to its older self. It’s absolutely gorgeous by all accounts, ticking the boxes on location, entrance grandeur, fantastic pool area, wonderful gym, lobby cafe restaurant with great views to Bundara Hi / lights show, fair breakfast choices, comfortable and well equipped room, and the usual high standards Indonesian hospitality. We loved it and we will go back for leisure and business alike.

The pricing at the restaurants, in particular the C’s and the Japanese, are on the high++ side even when compared with the usual 5* standards

Exceptional friendliness and staff assistance at all times, I had alittle three year old that need some urgent late night assistance which was attended to without any hesitations. Congrats to the staff and team at the Grand Hyatt.

Nothing really, we had a really good experience. I am a frequent traveller to jakarta and have stayed at many 4 and 5 star hotel in jakarta including the Marriot and the Ritz Carlton.

The staff kindly allowed us to check in early. As soon as we entered, I noticed a colourful sign on the mirror wishing me a Happy 50th Birthday :-) :-) The room was spacious and cozy, and I spent a lot of time relaxing by the window, enjoying the view of the roundabout below.

The breakfast buffet was nice especially all those herbal drinks/jamu, but I would have preferred a wider selection of local dishes.

The breakfast at lobby level was ok, not special and while many people to serve, service was not 5 star, and fresh drinks, not fresh, atmosphere very clinical, not friendly . The executive floor was good and the lounge very pleasant and great service and food.

Found the room good but very impersonal and the desk in the coldest spot. The shower very basic and small for this floor. Arrival reception not efficient and slow.
