Convenient location, always clean, great staff

No Aircon...this is absolutely unacceptable as per summer temperatures reaching to 37°c + amount of ppl per room releasing body heat. Apparently, this situation will be getting rectified soon. C'mon!!! Secondly, if the room is full and 1/2 of travellers are notorious snorers, making person awake and they managed to sleep like little babies...it is just not right! I know there are no set guidelines and rules for this but its about time the ministry of tourism should enforce / implement it for such facilities. It's just not right inconveniencing other travelers who pay the same as the snorrers... Thirdly, the mosquito nets are absolute must. Ppl are getting bitten and that is actually easy fix. Don't put this on traveller to buy mosquito repellent...invest and show you care.

Our task was to spend one night in Kosice near the train station, as we planned an early departure to Bratislava at 5 a.m. And the hostel was a good choice. The check-in was independent, as was the departure. We received detailed instructions from the hostel staff on how to enter the hostel and our rooms. In the kitchen there was an electric kettle, tea, coffee, sugar. Showers with hot water. Excellent Wi-Fi. I recommend the hostel for the price/quality ratio.

This is one of the best designed hostels I've ever stayed at. There are actually steps up to the upper bunks in the women's dorm, and two single beds. It's spacious and super clean everywhere. Towels are provided, and the ladies shower has a hair dryer. I was happily the only one in my dorm room. Registration is completed online and keys with lodgers' names are ar reception. Finally, the location is ideal, a 10 min walk to the train station and a short walk to the main square - perfect!

Amazing little hostel, well proportioned rooms and i absolutely love the bunk layout where there are stairs in the middle it was like a loft scenario! Really clean and basically in the heart of the old town.

Not sure what other services run from the same reception but every morning downstairs at reception there was a line of 30ppl (men) out the door from 8am to like 4pm so there was never a chance to talk to reception to ask any questions.

It is in the city centre in walking distance to the main attractions of Kosice as well as train and bus station. I had twin bed room, it was clean and tidy. Nice common area with sink and microwave, with available mugs and cutlery also tidy. Guests seem to put to heart into the rule of cleaning after yourself, so many things depends on us. Clean common toilets and showers. Available hairdryer in the shower room, which is great. The staff are fantastic. Lovely and trusty people at the reception. Loved the aquarium at the reception as well! At the arrival I stopped and I was admiring calming underwater world :)

Not too much space between beds, but oh well... The extremly affordable price covered all downsides. A bit thin door, so remember to take ear blockers. Also the street seems to be busy at night, so earblockers are inevitable if you have the window on the street. After all you get what you pay for, so I woulds say it is very good value.

There wasn't breakfast. I liked its location it was near the city center. And also it was not so crowded, it was quiet. The WC and shower rooms were clean, there were towels provided. Kitchen was good, coffee, tea and other things were available, as well as a microwave, etc.

To be honest, I liked the hostel, it would be better to change the beds' location bcs people had little privacy sometimes. And also considering the services, I guess the price for a night stay is expensive. I paid less in Budapest for example.

Sturdy bunk beds in the dorm with comfy mattresses. Instead of a ladder to the upper bunk there were clever stairs. Brilliant!

There is little security. Check-in is by email with a photo of the passport which is not secure. Then a door code is emailed and once inside you pick up your key from a counter. Apart from a few hours during the day no staff person is on the premises.

Really helpful and efficient staff ! There was no receptionist when we came, but everything had been well- arranged before, so, we had no problems to find the keys or our room. The lady / receptionist was available on whatsup during our stay and when necessary, we got the information needed. The property had wall-to -wall carpets which made us feel like at home and I really appreciated clean bathrooms and toilets! (Say hello to your cleaner- it shows she/ he really cares:) The location of the hostel is great - very close to the train station, pizza place ( in hunger emergency :) as well as the center itself. We had a lovely stay and will definitely recommend the place to our friends!

It is clean and comfortable. Electrical sockets are everywhere so no problem with charging your phone etc. You get two towels (one big, one small), a locker with two compartments (if you have a really big suitcase it might not fit but they have big lockers on the floor, too), the bed is comfortable. Also everything is very cute and cozy! Check-In and Check-Out is really easy. Because I had an injury I asked if they could reserve the bottom part of a bunk bed and they did that for me! They also replied to all of my questions super fast. The location is great, close to the city Center and the train station! You can basically walk everywhere. Of course it is not luxurious but it is a really good hostel.

There is no stove/oven, at least in the communal kitchen. Just a panini press/kettle/toaster/microwave.

This hostel is perfectly placed by the train station and the old city! It was clean and comfortable and I highly recommend for solo travelers. The owners are very responsive and the check in/out was simple and straight forward. I would definitely stay here again
