I like the spacious rooms and the kitchen facilities. The location is really good for Bassac Lane and central Phnom Penh.

On booking.com it states you have to pay cash but you can check into your room leaving your passport with reception until you pay. This is not the case, you have to pay the full amount before you can check in. It also says that your room will be cleaned every week but we stayed for 4 weeks and it wasn’t cleaned.

The staffs were very friendly and helpful. They all speak very good English with high hospitality. The room was spacious and clean with a small balcony. The bed is very comfy. The bathroom is quite big. The facility is all new. There is a washing machine and hangers in the room. Very nice location.

The room doesn't come with a microwave, electric water kettle, rice cooker, and hair dryers. Not sure if you could ask for a hair dryer from staff. The silverware is not enough for us. You only got 2 set of big spoons and forks. It would be nicer if we got just a bit more set.

The spacious studio has a smart set up so that you really feel you have a kitchen/dining, sitting area and sleeping space. Staff is super friendly and responsive if we needed anything. The location is central located close to many great cafes (also for co-working) and both local or more upmarket restaurants. Good discounts for longer weekly/monthly stays. we were happy and extended our stay.

Minor suggestions: what would even perfect it: a few more power outlets to charge phones/laptops, a microwave in the kitchen. Internet was a bit unstable sometimes.

The studio was really spacious, I was also lucky to get the one on the top floor, so had a nice view. I read some negative comments on cleanliness, but found the property quite clean. Also, bed was comfortable for me, another issue for some travellers. Washing machine was much needed for me, so was definitely worth staying here. Overall, I had no problems, it is not an exquisite property, but I was satisfied. Location is nice, walkable to some parks in the city center.

It felt quite empty, there was sufficient cutlery provided, but for example there was no soap in the bathroom (there was shower gel though). Wi-fi was a bit weak, but I'd say it is a thing in the country as a whole. Wooden interior feels a bit deteriorated, but not a big problem for me.

I have stayed here previously and thought I had already reviewed. I got the impression they specialize in long term rentals and it is near the southern "tourist area" of Bassac Lane. Tuktuk are readily available and besides Bassac Lane, if you turn right out of the main gate and cross the road you have a lively day market and night food market with various exchange booths, cell phone shops etc. Good supermarket (Super Duper) is only a few 100 meters away - along with an official "Smart" telco office and several more restaurants. Very convenient and well priced.

Had a couple of blackouts during one stay - though Cambodia is a bit like that. Gym is small and no swimming pool but the price reflects that. Had a few small issue but staff were happy to fix quickly.

The location of the property is great. It’s right around the corner from Bassac Street. The beds are comfy and the rooms are a good size. It’s nice to have the separation from the bedroom and the washing machine is handy. The bathrooms are a good size and the water pressure is fab. There is hot water in the bathroom but not the kitchen. We stay on a regular basis and every time we have booked alternative accommodation, we regret it. This place feels like coming home.

WH Bassac Residence was my last stay in Cambodia, and it was a very good choice! I couldn’t think about a better ending. The studio was spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful! The advantage was the location, it was situated in the city center, at a few minutes walk from the Royal Palace and other great monuments of Phnom Penh. I will definitely recommend it and I will go back!

If I have to say something, I would say the studio could use more kitchen supplies!

good sized place, had everything I needed, fantastic view and such an ideal location near Bassac lane! The staff on reception were great and I felt really safe with the 24/7 concierge. Bed was so comfy too, and lots of wardrobe space. Loved the roof top too for a small space to chill.

The were a lack of plug sockets but that is so minor!

Big spacious and clean with nice kitchen, hot water and nice view of city from bedroom. Super Dooper supermarket 2 minute walk away. Bassac Lane - 2 minutes walk - Little cool area with bars and restaurants - quiet during the day - riverside with 24 hour bars is a few bucks in a tuk tuk. Good friendly front of house - not so efficent on the night shift.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was a great size and very comfortable and clean. It was good to have a kitchen, albeit with basic utensils, but we didn't need to cook. The location was perfect, especially for the restaurants and bars of Bassac Street. It was a little difficult to sleep one night with street noises until quite late, but the other night was fine. Would definitely stay again.
