We really enjoyed our stay at the best Western Ipswich. We were in Rom 206. All in all a great stay. Thank you for the lovely greeting that we received on arrival.

The shower did have a constant dripping but it was no real problem once the bathroom door was shut. Also we needed to leave at 5:00am on Sat 1st June, but the front door was locked and we couldn't open it. Nor was anyone on reception. I did use the reception phone to alert someone. But no one came. However I was able to find a door in the corridor (heading towards the gym) and that door was open, so I was able to go round the back of the hotel to load the car. But that was no real problem. I will let the staff know next time when we need to leave early.

Large hotel, plenty of parking. Easy self check in system. Extremely friendly staff, who work very hard. Good size room with very large and comfortable bed. Had drinks in the bar and dinner in the restaurant. The food was excellent ! Christina greeted us on reception and served us in the bar, she had fantastic customer service ! Had a very good night's sleep, room was quiet. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is a bit tired looking but they are in the process of a refirb. Drinks at the bar were extremely expensive. Paid about £14.00 a round, that was for two alcoholic drinks with mixers !

Great value. Clean, comfortable room. Communal areas fresh & comfortable. Good food. We stayed 2 nights and had dinner at the hotel both nights. Dinner & breakfast were lovely. Large modern room (maybe there are plans to refurbish, but I honestly dont see a need, bathroom is just a bit dated in style but otherwise, very clean and damage free). Staff friendly welcoming & efficient. Great location for visiting Jimmy's Farm. Very quiet location. Good value. My expectations were exceeded.

Price was good and location was good for visiting Foxhall stadium for the banger racing world final. Breakfast was good value for money and as much as you like to eat

Didn't particularly like the self check in computer and it seemed pointless when a member of staff is sat behind the counter explaining what to do? Card payment only is really annoying as many people still like to use cash. Couldn't even buy a drink at the bar with cash

The room was a good size, and there was a bath, as well as a shower, which is always a bonus. There were tea and coffee making facilities, and a large TV. The room was clean and the bathroom well stocked with soap, shampoo etc.

The mattress was old and the springs stuck into us. The rooms and corridors were stiflingly hot, and the extractor in the bathroom didn't work, so the room was humid too.

First impressions, parking spaces narrow. Receptionist could have been more obliging. Gave impression restaurant closing so too late to eat after I’d had 5 and half hr journey. Arrived 8.30. Also saw I had hands full when doing booking in screen and didn’t offer to assist. Shower head very small so difficult to wash hair. Water pressure low too on taps. Only one biscuit pack with tea tray.

The family rooms no longer have bunk beds but instead have a separated twin bed area which is brilliant to put the children to bed and still be able to watch tv etc without disturbing them

The hot water in the bath took a long while to come through and then we couldn't work out how to get the cold back again so had to pour in cups of cold water from the sink ro regulate the temperature

Our upgraded room had everything we needed. Pleased to see there was a telephone in the room. The twin beds were very comfortable. The room itself was spacious and we were pleased to have the electric fan on a humid night.

The check in procedure was difficult to operate and we were very pleased that a member of staff was happy to dob this for us

The room was spacious. It had a fan in the room for comfort. Tesha/Tasha was incredibly sweet and lovely when she took our orders and brought our food and drinks.

No aircon rooms were quite stuffy. Had dogs and windows not suitable with the dogs to open wide for a nice evening breeze. May benefit to have king size beds in the superior rooms

Good location for work, good breakfast, not noisy, and a bath in room which I personally like.

Self check in, but staff do come if you call them. Lots of contractors at this hotel so parking spaces all go, and you have to park round back, which isn’t nice to walk back to hotel if late.
