A really nice and clean room with great aircon. Overall a great place to chill for a few days. The shower was fantastic and there was a cool bath as well. There is a great bit of the beach only a few minutes walk from the apartment which we enjoyed chilling at.

The whole smart thing didn’t really work that well. The toilet was pretty unresponsive and so we didn’t use its smart features. The al a carte breakfast was pretty poor to be honest. I can see what they were trying to do making it fancy but the food wasn’t really good and it would be better just having a buffet. It did smell a bit moldy in the middle of the property. In terms of location it’s a bit away from where it’s happening in Da Nang but it’s workable.

This is the third time I've stayed here in three years. Recent reviews said it was looking a bit worse for wear and room elements didn't work or are dilapidated. Strictly speaking this may be true (eg the electric toilet remote wasn't working in our room, not that I bothered to point it out to staff), but it negatively affected the experience by like 1% only, if at all. The important thing is that this hotel is pretty unique in Vietnam, it has a totally unique design and uses high-quality imported materials, has amazing bathtubs and very comfortable beds. I continue to see it as a gem. Also, they had spruced up the rooftop with solar-powered glowing flowers, which was an interesting touch.

Nothing. Any criticisms I could make would be unfair at this reasonable price point.

Room was fantastic. It’s in a quiet area at the top of the beach which is great.

Extra amenities in the room for the bath (at no additional cost) would have been nice. For what you’re paying it would be expected. Everything is at an additional cost (welcome drinks, bath bombs, etc.) The bar do not serve drinks after 8pm, if your looking for something late make sure your prepared. Also the breakfast could have had better options. My partner is vegetarian and they offered a replacement from one of the set meals, she ended up being served 5 eggs for breakfast.

The room was great, and the unique features. I especially liked the bath room, the Japanese toilet, and having separate spaces for shower and bath, with the sink in the main room. All the breakfasts were amazing, I was expecting something more basic, but the standard was high. This property was one of my favourites of my entire Vietnam trip, south to north.

A couple of the lights in the room weren't working, but it was such a minor thing I didn't bother to report it. It did not affect the overall quality of the stay. The hotel location further along the beach than most of the big hotels, but it was easy to get transport (Grab) when we needed it.

This was a wonderful and delightful experience. The hotel is cleverly designed and in a great quiet location. The SMART technology is great....when you go in the room welcomes you by opening up all the curtains and turning on the lights. It's like coming home and having your loved ones welcoming you. I woke in the morning to watching the sun rising over the sea. Breakfast was very good! The hotel is at a more quiet end of the beach which is literally 3 minutes away. I recommend turning left on the beach where you will find local fishermen gathering nets and the daily fish market on the beach...turn right and you might be in tourist land if you're looking to party. The staff are very respectful and non-intrusive. For the price this is a more than excellent choice for staying in Da Nang.

The SMART tech sometimes takes on a mind of it's own. You need top use your intuition and knowledge of tech. If the system thinks you've gone out it will turn everything off. Simply open the door and it will all come on.

This hotel was very comfortable. It's unique, with excellent design. I suspect it was designed by a Westerner, because it certainly appeals to Western tastes. (Supporting this hypothesis, there is an interesting commemorative plaque by the swimming pool with Hawai'ian, Hebrew and American names of a certain person, who I suppose was a family member of the owner.) Particularly unique are the baths, which are massive and of stone. Very relaxing. Fair prices, too. Helpful staff. Easy to get around by rental bike (or free bicycle). The location is great of course; fantastic beach a stone's throw away.

The soundproofing is not the best, but this shouldn't be a big problem for you, because the guests here are mostly civilized, as opposed to the usual rowdy karaoke singers and sunflower-seed-litterers you get in many a Vietnamese hotel. The area is a bit sparse in terms of shops and restaurants (unless you have very local tastes, e.g. massive seafood palaces). But this is no problem, as you can just get on the bike and go 2 km down the road to stock up, or get something delivered. Note that you can no longer navigate around Sơn Trà peninsula on an automatic bike, and this is enforced.

Overall good price (if on offer) considering the vicinity to the beach, the interesting design and the swimming pool.

Everything in the room is controlled by a control panel located near the entrance door, while good on paper this solution makes the experience quite uncomfortable. If one of the guests leave the room with the key, the panel will shut down everything inside the room. It's also uncomfortable in case someone has to stand up at night. The shower doesn't have a fan or window to let the humidity out, which means that once the door is open all the steam will flow into the bedroom. Staff barely says hi when you enter the premises.

The bath is great. It might be the reason why you booked this place anyway. It’s worth it for the price. The room was pretty cool and fancy. Highly an instragramable place.

The shower room is quite stuffy and moldy as there was no exhausted fan or a good ventilation system. Alexa didn’t work in my room, therefore I could not use the speaker or TV, or the smart room function as they advertised. I asked the receiptionist about this and his excuse was that Alexa is not being used in the country, therefore it is still underdeveloped and we couldn’t help you to fix Alexa. It was a lame excuse, to be honest. Why put a smart item in the room if it’s not working? The staff was just don’t bother to fix it as it was not a part of his job, maybe. Not the best attitude. I picked up a book and read on a rocking chair. It was nice, but given the hotel called itself a smart hotel, this is quite a false advertisement issue.

Very interesting design, the room was pretty, nice and clean. There was a big bath in the room. The bed was comfy. We used the swimming pool, it was quiet and relaxing. Staff was very helpful, especially the staff who helped us to check in, he sorted out everything professionally, answered all our questions and booked a tour for us. Breakfast was pho and salad on the first day, which was very tasty. It was fried egg and toast on the next day, which was a bit disappointing. All in all, the hotel was clean and had a relaxing atmosphere. It was worth the money and I would recommend.

Only a few of the staff spoke good English, it was a bit hard to communicate with a few of them. The staff are generally very friendly and they tried to help, but not all of them were able to do that.
