Everything about this trip was just magical. We booked the aurora rooms and got to see the lights everyday from our room. The room was just stunning and worth every penny. Meals at the restaurant were also really amazing!!! Every dish was sublime. Staff were also lovely - shout out to Matthaus and Marius as well as the reception staff who were just lovely.
Cost of transfer from the ferry terminal to the hotel was exorbitant. On the website it says 'we can pick you up' but did not state specifically that this would come at a fee. This really should be stated. We had booked another lodge which stated they could pick us up and that was indeed free.

We stayed for 2 nights in August 2024 at the Sea House. The view was absolutely magnificent, but it was also the most expensive property we stayed out of 5 while visiting Lofoten/Senja. The quality of materials inside, the high end touch to everything, including the plates and silverware was immaculate. And the view was out of this world! We did Wildlife Safari boat ride through the hotel and enjoyed sauna and jacuzzi, plus swimming off the dock. Restaurant was a bit hit or miss. Breakfast was great! Proscuitto sandwich during lunch was amazing and a dinner one day was very yummy but the prior day dinner was not very good and the screaming unattended kids ruined the whole experience even more. Still, I would absolutely stay again.
Unattended screening kids in or around restaurant ruining the experience. Their parents were sitting and drinking outside in peace while the kids were inside screaming and running around with no adults in sight and management did not do anything.

We stayed for two nights on route from Tromso to Lofoten. The accomodation was superb and very relaxing. We were off season, but really enjoyed the visit. We had an amazing morning on our first day when the weather was surprisingly warm and sunny. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would definately recommend.
This is a very fussy point, but the menu choise at the restraunt could have been more varied. However, for context, the food we did have was really good.

The Property lies nestled in a little bay by the sea, its location is absolutely stunning. We went there during a Snowstorm with gale force winds. We felt save and it was cosy to watch from the inside. The food in the restaurant was great, the staff very friendly and always helpful. We enjoyed every moment of our stay. We also saw the northern lights :-)
They were testing a new heating control system. Although we were never cold, it was a bit difficult to keep a constant room temperature.

The view and the surroundings are perfect. It could not be more beautiful. There was plenty of room in the sea view suite.
The sea view suite needs renovation: floor tiles in the shower were loose and gathered water underneath and the door of the fridge was so twisted that it couldn’t be shut properly. Instead, the door was half open keeping the light on all the time which warmed up the whole fridge. Also make sure you arrive early for the breakfast otherwise many things are finished.

The property is absolutely beautiful and well maintained. The lounge inside was lovely with amazing views all around. The beds were so comfortable and the bathroom quite large. All the staff we interacted with were lovely.
The one small annoyance was having the majority of the outlets in the bathroom. The only outlet in the bedroom was behind the tv. The price for the hot tub seemed absurdly high.

We had a fantastic stay! The location was perfect, and every aspect of our visit, from the seamless pickup to the well-organized activities, was excellent. A special highlight was our time with Marius, our activity guide, who made the trip truly memorable. He took us on an incredible tour of Senja and guided us through our first snowshoeing experience, which was both exciting and unforgettable. Highly recommended!

Very nice property and beautiful scenery. The breakfast was very good.
I feel like all the extras including the hot tub and sauna were overpriced. I would assume these are usually amenities that attract one to a hotel, but $40 per person to sit in a sauna or hot tub seems a bit much especially when we stayed at a hotel on the neighboring island where it was included with the price. There was also no coffee maker in the room and breakfast doesn’t open until 7:30 am.

The mini room was clean and nice. The electric radiator was great and the air was good, no bad smell. There was a window you could open. The shelves were great, lots of space for stuff. The bed was wide. Blankets, sheets and towels good. The bathroom was big and had a good amount of hooks and shelves. The room and hotel was quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was amazing, we only missed syrup for the waffles. Beautiful location.
We had trouble finding the reception and drove around for a bit before I called and asked where it is. How difficult is it to put up a sign. The shower head was quite small and a little lazy water pressure but not too bad. The shower walls did not keep the water in the shower and the bathroom floor got full of water. The pillow was to big for my taste and the bed was a little too soft but not horrible. No fridge.

Fantastic location, good facilities - but feels like it's living on its reputation. Easy access to the best parts of Senja. Close to the Andenes ferry.
A huge group at an entertainment event meant the dinner was a buffet - no a la carte. Super soft bed - we ended up putting the mattress on the floor........
