A good base from where you can explore Senja. We spent three nights & did two days of hiking, including Husfjellet, whose trailhead is just outside the front door.

Be aware that in off-season the nearest restaurant is some 20 min away by car. However, there is an excellent supermarket across the street that cooks pizza. We rented a room and there is a microwave & kettle. So we cooked 2 nights and ordered a pizza one night - it worked out just fine. If you want a full kitchen, you need to book one of the cottages We had a great stay.

I loved the scene from the breakfast room: mountains and the Nordic Sea! The personnel were super friendly and I loved the atmosphere at the breakfast. She adviced with some good hiking advices. There is a mountain hiking route right next to the hotel. November was nice time to travel (if the weather is good and for me it was perfect) because there were not too much people on the island. In the winter the weather can also be very challenging. 4 km from the hotell is also a tiny beach which is beautiful also in the winter time. From the hotell there is about 45 min drive to Segla mountain but you have to be very careful if driving in a bad weather, the route is narrow mountain road. There is a little grocery store (not open on Sundays) and gas pump opposite the hotel. If you wanna make some other shopping than food that is best to do in Finnsnes

We stayed 3 nights at the end of July and had great weather. Great location, good size of the cabin for 3 adults in 2 bedrooms, comfortable beds, friendly staff. The cabin has a kitchen facility which is very useful for breakfast and even for dinner (except one dinner).

The food at Skagi was not great (at least the one time we did not cook our own dinner). This maybe because it is probably difficult to find good cooks for this remote location. My advice: give it at try but keep it optional.

The manage/owner is super nice and the dinner is one of the best we had during our 12 day trip in Norway. We were the only 2 guests at the restaurant that night, she still cooked for us. The location is right in the center of the beautiful Senja, very convenient to serve as a base to explore the area. The room is basic, but clean and functional. The price is very reasonable.

Location was amazing. room was decent in size. room was too cold so the staff provided us a portable heater and extra blankets. Bathroom was floor heated which was perfect. we were the only guests of hotel for this night so it was very quiet and relaxing. No outside noise. Dinner was delicious. Breakfast was simple. She also informed us about the northern lights expected time but weather was cloudy so we could not watch it. she also recommended us to visit nearby attractions which was very helpful and kind. we liked the attractions very much.

No floor heating in the room so the carpet was very cold. Attached heater was not sufficient hence we asked for portable heater which was provided to us.

The hotel is very good situated and it is a great base for exploring. We felt at home in one of the private lodges. It was warm, quiet, pleasant, clean. Everything you need is available and the Joker supermarket is right across the street. The hosts are so welcoming and they truly are wonderful persons that try to offer their guests the best.

We liked everything, it was great. The setting and location were perfect. The communication and welcome from Jetske were excellent.

For what it is, nothing. We liked it all. It met and even exceeded our expectations.

The check-in was smooth and quick. Prior to arrival at the hotel, we had good communications from the staff who had to set up the 2 bedroom cottage for us as we needed the sofa bed made up for one of our group. Throughout our stay and also at checkout, the staff were quick to communicate via text messaging if the reception was not open. The cottage was clean and the kitchen well equipped. The parking was right in front of the cottage. We had dinner at the restaurant and the menu was small but very good. There's also a small supermarket opposite the hotel which came in very handy for breakfast supplies.

The rooms are small and we had to leave our luggage in the living space which wasn't ideal as we had someone sleeping on the sofa bed. We were there for just one night so this didn't pose too much of a hassle.

We stayed there for one night during our ride along the Senja Scenic Route. The property is conveniently located near the Scenic Route, and has a good view of the fjord and mountains. There is also a grocery shop opposite the property. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Parking is easy too. There is everything one needs for a short stay.

We cooked our own food. Kitchen adequate but could have used more towels and hot pads.

There was only one gas station in the town and our credit card did not work. Otherwise the quiet, views, grocery were all nice.
