A good size and clean room. Did tour bookings at front desk and settled payment with hotel front desk. Pool looked fine however did not use it.

I would suggest a more suttle and natural scent air freshner be used than the one sprayed in the room by the cleaners. Only one door key card is provided, which is inconvenient when one person is in the room sleeping and another is out temporarily.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Hotel Corto del Mar. From start to finish, everything about the hotel was exceptional. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful, making me feel welcome and cared for. They seamlessly handled the reservation of transportation to and from the hotel, as well as the organization of various tours. I highly recommend booking tours through the hotel as they work with a really great and professional travel agency. The facilities at the hotel were clean and amazing, adding to the overall comfort of my stay. The restaurant was a highlight, offering delicious meals that I thoroughly enjoyed. The breakfast was also great, providing a perfect start to my days. I wholeheartedly recommend everything about Hotel Corto del Mar. It's an ideal place for anyone looking for a comfortable, enjoyable, and hassle-free stay.

Staff and locaton is perfect. Rooms were comfortable and cleaned daily. Breakfast was excellent with a great variety of choices which changed daily. They are associated with Corto Divers (not in the same location, you have to walk there) and Corto Divers was superb and added bonus of 300PHP per person discount. Absolutely loved our stay at Corto del Mar. We had a 2 bedroom family room and it was great!

The pool is beautiful but surrounding area and furniture could be improved. Also be very mindful you are staying right in the heart of Coron. The view outside our window was pretty confronting. It is how people live and suggest reviewing some of the other traveller photos to get an idea so you are not shocked. Oh and there are definitely lots of roosters crowing from around 3am.

Close to the center and yet very quiet. The pool is very beautiful, day and night. We had breakfast sitting by it, we used it to swim in the afternoon after the excursions but also to chill on the deckchairs and look at the stars in the evening. The room is spacious and it had everything we were looking for.

As in all the other accomodations we stayed so far in the Philippines, there was a smell when entering...dump/humidity. Perhaps this could be corrected by adding mosquito nets to the windows and so allowing the room to air more...or it could be at least helped with air fresheners. Also, it was annoying that we could not regulate the water temperature...it was either boiling hot or cold. Still, minor issues, not deal breakers for us.

Amazing stay at the Corto Del Mar Hotel. The bedroom was very spacious and super clean, the hotel overall is very nice, with a very calm vibe, but still located perfectly in the center of Coron, which makes it really easy for exploring the islands. The staff and service was beyond expectations, they went above and beyond to help me when I forgot a bag at the hotel, managed to bring it to the airport in time before my flight. Special thanks to Elijah and Rodel for this emergency operation, they handled quickly and were super reactive ! Forever grateful 🙏🙏🙏

Sometimes the shower wasn’t always warm

A beautiful property in the heart of coron town. The staff were so friendly and the pool was stunning. Staff carried all luggage at all occasions. Small touches made a difference - they did not charge us for the cappuccinos we ordered at breakfast etc . A quiet hotel - peaceful . The two girls on reception were excellent at their job and organised tours and replies to all emails perfectly

We didn’t have very hot water in the shower but everything else was perfect.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The decor and architecture was really picturesque and throwback to the colonial past. The flooring was beautiful, sandstone and wooden finishes. The bathroom were the best we have come across, great water pressure!

The ground floor rooms smelt musty and damp. There isn’t much ventilation and the window opens onto a fence. We also stayed on the third floor which was much more ventilated and wasn’t damp. Get a second or third floor room if you are sensitive to damp.

Absolutely loved the service provided at Corto. The crew was always quick to attend to any requests and inquiries. Service desk was communicative and made sure to update us along the way (e.g. spa booking, flight cancellation status due to typhoon). The breakfast provided varied from daily, and had a decent selection for all cuisines, and I really enjoyed having breakfast by the pool which was really cozy. I also liked that it was along tugged in the corner along city centre of Coron, it was so peaceful and quiet, yet not far away from restaurants and shops along the main street (~5mins walk).

Also, was given a double bed even tho we book the 2-single-bed room, altho it was spacious enough and wasn't a huge biggie. Soundproofing could have been better since we stayed on the ground floor, the noise from the pool could be heard clearly. However, it usually dies down at night so not a biggie. And while there were enough electric plugs, they were a little out of the way too, and at awkward positions.

This is a really nice hotel, in a location that is very close to the port where all the boat tours leave from. The included breakfast was really delicious with a variety of tasty dishes to choose from. We were also able to order a cappuccino, which were the best cappuccinos we had during our 2 week tour around the Philippines. Our room was spacious and clean with a nice shower and hand held bidet. The pool could be a little cleaner. There is algae on the tile. However, maybe I wouldn't have noticed that before we became pool owners ourselves. I also wouldn't be too fussy about an ocean view. The poverty level in Coron was the worst we saw on our two week tour of the Philippines. So, our ocean view also included a view of corrugated steel housing on the waterfront. This pulled at our heartstrings while we were staying inside of a luxury hotel, while the locals were struggling just outside our window. The people of Coron, and all throughout the Philippines, are some of the nicest people we have met. Please be generous with your tips. A little bit goes a long way for the wonderful staff and tour guides.

The location was great, walking distance to many things, the restaurant was very good. Every morning it was something different to eat. The staff went above and beyond, one night the hotel ordered food from an outside restaurant to get delivered to the hotel. We waited 45 minutes, then the staff told us the restaurant never put in the order for our food. The staff was very nice, they went to the restaurant places our order and brought it to our room. Talk about great service. I highly recommend Corto del Mar.
