Location is very good, staff are friendly and nice and facilities are good. I would say it is more than a 4 star hotel.

I booked a room through booking.com. for some reason, the payment is not completed when booking and hotel sends a separate message and a link to transfer money. Not a good practice from cyber security perspective. They should do it in a more secure way. For example payment is done through booking.com entirely or in person before checking in.

This Barcelona Hotel has modern amenities and is located right next to a modern mall and across the street from a national museum, and just a short walk to some good beaches for a nice walking hike. The room was clean and functional, and the Wi-Fi relatively speedy. I was there for both work and a short vacation so for checking email etc, it was adequate. I love to walk when I travel to a new city, and This hotel is close to good beaches and a couple of other modern hotels The hotel has two pools and a few restaurants as well as some bars. Rooftop has an amazing view and is very good for taking pictures and city gazing. Second pool is smaller but has a nice restaurant and is good for some cafe drinking and people watching. I chose the breakfast buffet option which was very good and well run. They do shut it down relatively early so be sure to get early enough to enjoy it. The hotel is clean and has a very responsive staff.

Not much else in this location. You are fairly far away from the older Gothic section and famous cathedrals. Hotel is a bit rundown. A fair amount of wear and tear on doors and hallways. The rooftop pool got crowded and noisy with some loud young vacationers. Relatively expensive, there are more affordable options in this city Lots of street Noise.

Location is prime and close to public transportation. The room was exactly how it was pictured online. More than enough space for a couple. Check-in was smooth due to utilizing the pre check-in option. FREE mini bar is a plus.

Establishment could have a better iron, especially for the amount of money they charge for the room. AC units could be installed. Being on the top floor, the AC is slacking and is no Bueno after a hot day. Breakfast could be a little bit better, like who doesn't provide maple syrup if you're serving waffles and pancakes.

Hotel located away from the center but close to the metro, sea, beach and port with yachts. Its location is for those who want to rest from the crowds and visit the center of Barcelona. Hotel in the immediate vicinity of a large shopping mall, where you can eat and buy everything you need. Nice service, clean and very good cleaning service. Minimalist and very modern design. Nice lobby both on the ground floor and on the floors. Two swimming pools - the one on the roof with a beautiful view and sun loungers. I was in January so I did not use it despite the heated water. Breakfasts not very diverse but actually a little bit of everything. I recommend and use it :)

Not very tasty coffee for breakfast. Unfortunately, the beds were not very comfortable, we had two single beds. You can hear the morning cleaning service in the room above your head. The morning scraping of furniture was bothersome. No drinking water in the rooms, I think this is already a global standard for a 4* hotel.

The location was excellent, especially for attending the conference right across the street. Breakfasts were delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. I also appreciated the daily cleaning and the complimentary minibar, which was restocked every day.

However, the elevator situation was disappointing. The hotel has 26 floors and many guests, but only two elevators were operational during my first days there (a third was later repaired). Mornings were particularly frustrating, with long waits, queues after breakfast, and having to stop at multiple floors to finally get where I needed to go. If I had known about this issue in advance, I would have requested a lower-floor room and opted to use the stairs.

The room was outstanding. The Location was beautiful. Pool a little small and busy but we enjoyed the beach. The mini bar was fantastic. It was a surprise for my 50th birthday and loved every moment.

The only negative was an employee on reception. I am not sure of her name she was tall with a big mole on her face . She was so miserable and unprofessional not at all helpful or friendly, you need to get ride of her as she does not portray your hotel well. There was another female receptionist very pretty with long dark hair she was amazing and David on reception.

The sleek and modern design of the hotel, spacious rooms and lovely staff. Stunning views and near the beach. The mini fridge has complementary water and drinks. Loved how we can reach the center of the city by public transportation which was a couple of mins away walking whatever type you chose to use. As a person who loves quiet nights the area was more than perfect to us. And there is a mall right next to it where it has a variety of shops and restaurants. Would definitely book this hotel again.

It had more tiles so i kind of felt it needed a rug or carpet to reduce the coldness of the floor. Also, for a person who loves coffee first thing in the morning it needs a coffee machine or kettle to prepare any other type of hot drink.

Excellent location with nearby tram, metro, taxi and bus connections to city sights and attracrions. Hotel staff friendly and nothing too much trouble for them. Rooms exactly as described on Booking.com Our top floor suite had amazing day and night views across the city. Daily service kept the room spotlessly clean, and the free minibar was always well stocked. It was a nice touch! Beds were very comfy with good pillows and following a good night's sleep, the excellent buffet breakfast kept us going most of the day! Barcelona is a beautiful place, and the Princess Hotel was a great place to return after a day exploring.

Only niggle which did not spoil our visit to the city was the hotels inadequate WiFi. On the 26th floor there was barely any connection to the Web in our room.

Location was a bit out of town but a very easy commute, with the metro about 2 mins away! Hotel itself was gorgeous, very generous with goodies in the room, complimentary robes and slippers to borrow, stunning views of the city, huge bed, shower was ace with 3 different functions, aesthetically pleasing room. Staff went above and beyond to resolve any issues.

Pool looked a lot bigger in photos and was actually tiny, and looked like it needed a bit of a clean when we went to use it. Would be helpful to be given a city map or map of the area on arrival, but that's just me being picky!

- spacious room, comfortable bed, view to the sea - the room was cleaned every day and we got clean towels, slippers and new toiletries to replace what was used daily - fridge was filled up with a coke and a fanta can and 2 bottles of water daily - nice view of the Sagrada Familia when taking the lift down to the reception

- when taking a shower, some water would leak out on the bathroom floor, this could be fixed with a fresh sealant - the air in the room was quite dry, so make sure you have nose droplets in case you know you need them
