The location was good, very central for everywhere. Not a bad walk to Fisherman's Wharf, right at the entrance of Chinatown and only a few roads away from Union Square. It's clean and modern, I like that you need a keycard to get into the hotel. I did originally book a hotel in Fisherman's Wharf for double the price so glad I changed my booking as this hotel has everything you'd need for a city break away. Staff were always helpful and Friendly.

It does only have a ceiling fan and not Air-conditioning, rooms aren't massive but was well equipped with everything you need. Can be a little noisy.

Great location, very close to Chinatown Gate under 10 blocks from Powell Station and Westfield . Friendly staff, comfortable bed and clean premises overall.

The hotel it's a little bit pricey, but San Francisco is not cheap anyway. Just be careful if you go out at night, because there are a lot of hustlers around Market Street.

Great location! Near Chinatown. Facilities were clean. Nice and breezy fan. Staff was nice. Free drink for bar right next door was nice! Overall happy with our decision. Other hotels in the area seemed to be nice with the rooms but location reviews stated there were issues with the un-housed being outside. That was not the case here. Felt very safe. Fried in room was nice and there is a microwave downstairs you can use.

The room is a little on the smaller side, but that wasn’t a huge deal. Main concern was the shower. Water would come out through the edge of the glass partition. We put a towel on the side to capture it so it wasn’t a major issue.

The location was amazing and walking distance to everything. The front desk staff were also extremely nice and helpful.

The cleaners would start vacuuming other rooms in the hall starting from 7am or 8am all the way until noon. There is very little sound insulation on the doors so for light sleepers, you can hear every movement outside. So this was frustrating for me because I planned to sleep in after a long flight. The cleaner would be playing videos on her phone on speaker instead of using headphones and I thought it was very inconsiderate. I stayed two nights and it only happened once on the 9th floor. But the experience would have been much nicer if the cleaner was more considerate of noise at such early mornings.

The shower was great, very modern and powerful. The location was ideal for Chinese town and not too far to get taxi to pier for Alcatraz so was quite cheap. You can walk but it was very early when we left and had to be there at 8am. Bed was super comfy and there was a coffee maker in the room

The lift was very old and slow. It then stops and has a split second before it opens so if your anxious of lifts avoid. There is only one lift so if you do get stuck as least it won’t be long before anyone notices. We were also in a room next to the lift shaft so could hear it creaking up and down all night.

This property was great value for money considering the high San Francisco prices. Location was walking distance to Chinatown, Union Square, BART stations and many restaurants. Room was clean, modern and had no carpet which we appreciated. Hotel has free coffee/tea in the lobby as well as a microwave and ice machine. Room had a small refrigerator that was nice to keep drinks or leftovers. Bed was really comfortable.

No AC but we knew this when we booked. Room does have a large fan and a window that can be opened.

Very comfortable bed and very clean room! Loved that we could open the windows for fresh air, and the curtains were beautiful blowing in the breeze. Our room only came with 1 caffeinated coffee pod, but when we asked them to bring us up more, the coffee arrived within 5-10 minutes. The location was amazing - right across from the Dragon Gate entrance to Chinatown. Plenty of cute bars and eateries just outside of the hotel. We'd definitely stay here again!

There was a smell coming from the toilet even though the bathroom itself was very clean. It might just be that the toilet itself is old. When we closed the bathroom door, we couldn't smell it anymore, so it wasn't too big of a deal. I also wish the view would have been better, especially since I selected "room with view." Personally, I wouldn't have labeled this room as one with a view because we could only really see the buildings right next to us. However, the room itself was so pretty and comfortable that we didn't much mind.

Hotel location is awesome right in union square easy access to everything and just down the street from china town entrance on grant and bush. Loved the room layout and all the contemporary style, seemed like it was newly remodeled, ample closet space with lock safe. Room had a large ceiling fan and a window opens a little to allow enough cool air in which are both needed for a nice night's sleep. The staff is very pleasant and friendly, they will send up housekeeping to clean up room as long as you tell them in the morning before 12pm, but they might call it Room Service instead.

The shower only has half a glass pane so the back is wide open and water pressure could be a little stronger. Bathroom could also use a rack near sink to hang up face towel. The bed was comfy but could be a little more firm, had slight back pain waking up in the morning.

I really liked the location of this hotel. It's right outside of the Dragon's Gate and close to a lot of great food. The hotel itself felt clean and the bathrooms were renovated. The front desk staff were extremely friendly at check-in and check-out, they made the stay feel very comfortable.

The building is very old and quirky, which is pretty standard for this area but in this building the elevator (there's only 1) is pretty slow. The hallways are really old, but the rooms themselves feel clean and new. I was on the 9th floor but the noise from the street was still pretty loud, but the view is really nice.

The hotel was in a great spot, close to lots of restaurants and bars. It was right across the street from The Irish Bank which has amazing bar food, great drinks, and a chill but fun atmosphere! When you walked out of the hotel and turned left, you see the gates to Chinatown. There was a lot to explore in the area. The rooms were beautiful and the hotel felt secure. The lobby was nicely decorated with a Christmas tree and lights. The staff were kind and quick to assist with fresh towels and anything else you needed. Overall the perfect place to stay in San Francisco! 😊
