I stayed at Das Himberg for three nights while waiting for the train connection I needed to open back up after the horrible storms that were rocking central Europe days before. While it was not cheap, it totally made up with being comfortable and having a fantastic 5/5 stars breakfast that was included with the nightly fee. The location is fine if you have business in Himberg, and the connection to Vienna Hbf is quite convenient with an 8 minute walk to the Himberg local railway and a short train ride to the city center. If come back to visit Vienna as a tourist, I may choose Das Himberg again.

I did not appreciate that having a small fridge in your room cost and extra 20 Euro per night and that the hotel wifi was as bad as it was. The connection was quite slow and there were several webpages for work that I had to access through data on my phone because the hotel connection was flagged by my organization. However, it was there and it was free, and that counts for something. But I should note that the wifi was only slightly worse than most public wifi in the EU.

Everything was nice, room is clean and cosy, spacious enough, breakfast is very good, we really enjoyed our stay

The only one thing - the hotel is located right in front of the gas station and in the evening we felt a fuel smell. Later weather became very windy and it solved the problem. But for those who have breathing issues, this detail can be important

Very good hotel in a small town. The rooms are modern, everything is new, there is a kitchen with a stove, coffee machine and refrigerator. Very comfortable mattresses. In the bathroom all accessories are from Rituals, there is even hand cream. The breakfast is very tasty, with a large assortment, tea, cocoa and coffee Julius Meinl. Entry by cards. If you return late, the doors to the hotel itself can also be opened using a card from your room. Parking in the hotel yard is free.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! It's one of the best hotels I've ever visited. The atmosphere is luxurious, and the staff are exceptionally friendly and professional. The food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this hotel and would like to thank the staff and management for their excellent service

Really great and friendly staff, the room was very nice and comfortable, and the breakfast was exceptional. Also free parking was provided. This will be my new go-to hotel for a stay before or after a flight at the Vienna airport! Loved the stay!

During my one night stay nothing came up that I would not have liked.

The room had a great layout and was very thoughtfully laid out. All the little touches were great from the rain shower, the coffee machine, the beautiful wall paper in the bathroom, the various lighting options in the room, the air conditioning, various curtain and blind options. After 10 days of travel through 5 different cities, this was the best night stay of the whole trip. The front desk staff when out of her way to make arrangements for us to get a taxi to the airport and to start breakfast a bit earlier for us before we had to leave. I am so thankful that she did this because the breakfast was incredible!

The only thing was that I thought based on booking.com recommendations that the location was closer to the airport. This is not really a big deal because it was only about 20 minutes to the airport and the taxi driver dropped us off at a special location that was super close to where we needed to be. Ask the front desk to make arrangements for you if you need a ride to the airport, they are super helpful and kind.

We appreciated the breakfast, the coffee, it was clean, free parking (limited places).

- August 2023 - 15 euros / night for a little dig (it would have been appreciated if the amount was visible before making the reservation and not a general remark “charges may be applicable”. - It was impossible to charge our car, the access it was not adapt for the height of car, 180 cm.

We liked our room - the bed was very comfortable. They provided us with a crib and baby sheets- my daughter loved those. The breakfast was delicious as well as my drink at the bar. The staff was very kind and polite.

There wasn’t A/C in the room and it was quite warm during the night (we stayed at the end of June) When we opened the window the street was quite noisy so decided to keep the windows shut but we’re were all sweaty by the morning. Also I thought it would be a bit closer to the airport according to the booking.com and google maps reference - it’s about 20-25 min (not 15 as they state)

This is a really good quality hotel with nice staff and great breakfast. The drive from Vienna or the airport is quick and painless, and there is a parking lot plus a gas station right across the street if you're driving. The room is spacious as well.

The only serious shortcoming for me was that there is no coffee in the room (no coffee machine or even a kettle). This is really surprising because I don't think I've ever been to a hotel that doesn't have at least basic coffee facilities in the room :) For me, this is a major pain because I like to have my first coffee before leaving my room. Otherwise I can only mention the town, which has literally nothing in it :) but I think anyone booking here would know this and not expect otherwise.
