The room was as expected and really clean. The bathroom was spacious and even featured a bathtub. We did receive new towles, water and amenities everyday, all we had to do was placed the used ones in front of our door in a provided bag.The japanese breakfast was so delicious and we were really surprised it was included in our price. We also booked a private sauna for 60min for 3500yen, which was a really nice experience as well. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was really good and a subway station was close by.There were several restaurants and bars nearby as well. Overall we had a great stay and would recommend it to others.

We loved our stay here!! The room was very spacious and clean, the layout was super convenient, and the design and colour scheme is beautiful! Made it feel very relaxing and cozy. Lighting was just right, and the window was a good size for natural sunlight. The beds were SUPER comfortable and to my liking. The best part though was the bathroom; very spacious, modern design, and very clean. This was our first time in a ryokan style hotel and thought it was the perfect mix of traditional style with modern amenities. We were very very happy with our stay here and will be coming back to stay again. Location is not bad either; short walk to nearest train station, the red brick warehouse, and other tourist spots.

Nothing to dislike.

Our Japanese style room was quite comfortable and well equiped, also quite spacious. Excellent location close to Kannai station.

The only negative of our stay was that the room although it had two windows, these were frosted glass and there was no view at all, very dark and cave like. Our room was 1006, which was on the side of the building which was very close to the adjacent building, hence the frosted glass. Rooms at the front of the building probably 1004 and on, which should have normal windows and a street view would be better.

Everything about this jewel in Yokohama was perfect. Everything the weary traveller might need is available. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the location of the accommodation was central to places we wished to visit either on foot or via public transport - access to the subway was immediately across the road from the hotel with the local train station a mere 5 minutes walk away facilitating our return trip to the airport.

We really struggled to find the hotel and were rescued by a local woman who was also perplexed by Google maps - we were within a minute of the front door but didn't spot it easily - hampered a little too by the hotel name sign being on the pavement whilst we were looking at eye level and above. It was a minor irritation that was soon forgotten but future travellers might like to be aware to save any frustration.

We loved this hotel! We wanted to experience staying in a ryokan but didn’t have the time to travel to far away from Tokyo, this was a little over an hour train ride away. It was the perfect way to experience a modern ryokan. The beds were so comfortable the bathroom was amazing, they left fresh pajamas and water daily. It was easy to check in and out. And they were kind enough to let us store our luggage even after check out, while we roamed around before heading to the airport.

We have no complaints about this property

Very close to JR Kannai Station which is only 2 stops from Yokohama Station. You can even get to the station using underground tunnels if it rains. The entrance corridor is narrow but opens up to a bigger tatami room where you can put your suitcases. The bathroom was large and spacious with the shower/bath separate from the toilet. The beds were comfy.

The rooms aren’t the most sound proof, especially in the bathroom I could hear hair dryers and muffled conversations. When it rained at night it was a little loud and you can hear some traffic outside. I was sad that the toilet’s bidet functions didn’t work.

The hotel is close to the underground (5 min) and the JR station at Kannai, as well as several bus lines, perfect for exploring Yokohama. It takes a bit to get to central Tokyo, but connections are frequent - however, if Tokyo is the main focus of your stay, it might be better to stay closer to the Tokyo city center. What I loved about the neighborhood was that it had everything you needed - restaurants, shops, public transport, and yet it wasn't as crowded as Tokyo usually is. Large separate shower room with small bathtub and separate space for toilet and sink, which is really nice.

The only thing I wasn't happy with was that there was no space for me to open my suitcase. I have a bigger sized suitcase when I travel for two weeks and I could only open it in the bathroom, as the entryway was too narrow to fully open it (and still reach the door. If there's two people in the room, this might be a bit of a problem, as there really isn't any space to store luggage, no cupboard either. Not having a cupboard or wardrobe is fine if you can open your suitcase and use that instead.

Great location, everything was in easy walking distance. Very nice modern take on a Ryokan. Staff were friendly. Beds were comfy and shower was really nice. They were able to accommodate us with our baby and they had a baby cot available.

Rooms looked bigger on the photos, and to be honest, I don't think the price was justified. Seems bit expensive for what it was, as there wasn't anything particularly special, maybe if the price included breakfast that would have been better.

No washing and dryer in the room.

We had to ask the staff how to use the toilet remote, which only worked when taken out off the fixture and held to the other side of the toilet. Other than that, everything was very five. We enjoyed the idea of giving a modern twist to the Japanese bedroom and bathroom. Particularly the bathtub was absolutely great. Everything clean and stylish.
