Excellent location, few minutes walk to the beach, to restaurants and to the bus terminal to El Nido/P.Princesa. This is a family business, so you will find the owner as well as their daughter/son extremely willing to help with your stay, booking excursions or tickets as well as offer a cup of tea or coffe at early morning. They also offer a free water refill available h24 at their main desk. My room was quiet big to be a "single budget room" and was definitely a huge saving for me!

WiFi really weak, both from my room as well as the communal areas (local network connection was fine, however had to use my mobile network instead of the WiFi). The room was given without toilet paper or without any soaps, not even for hands. Plenty of small shops nearby but they all selling overpriced items, so get with you all you need before arrive here! Is also annoying having the mirror fixed n another wall and not on top of the sink, this is a nightmare to trim the beard or for any face care. Overall these are minus details to me, I would probably book again this hotel in future.

Perfect location, 3 min from van station, 2 min from beach, shops, restaurants. Perfectly quiet at night. Janet and her husband are professional, approachable, warm, welcoming, always in a good mood and happy to sit and have a chat if you feel like it. Janet makes you feel not like a client but a guest. She helps with any little problem you may have. In the morning they offer coffee, bread and company. All day you can refill your bottle of water... I felt at home, relaxed, grateful.

Not a problem for me, there's no hot water.

I stayed at Shenamae Pension for four days. What a wonderful place. I was greeted by the owners with warmth and kindness and this continued throughout my stay. I stayed as a solo traveler and my room was the perfect size and space for what I needed. Very clean and comfortable. Excellent location, just a minute walk to the beach. Restaurants, bakery and mini-grocery store are nearby. Would definitely recommend and would certainly stay here again.

Great location - close to the beach and bus station. Friendly staff. Extremely good value. Nice outdoor seating area.

The owner is super lovely. For small money you get a quite and clean private room with own bathroom. It’s basic but it has all what you need. Also walking distance to the beach, restaurants, ATM and a small supermarket. Can highly recommend to stay here while exploring Port Barton!

The owner, Janet, is adorable! I felt at home. The location is perfect.

The room is very simple. But it is big enough for 1 person (i do not recommend for 2 )

As the others said - "superfriendly" owners :-) the location nice - quiet except roosters. Only 1 minute to the beach. Simple fecilities but definitelly worth the price :-)

The couple running Shenamae are lovely. As a solo traveller this made all the difference for me. They are helpful, funny and chatty. I sat chatting to them on a many occasions. also perfect location, right next to the beach.

It’s accessible to everything. Near the beach and establishments. The owner and her family is really helpful and very nice! Will accommodate you on everything you need and will help you! Definitely worth the stay!

Great location, 2 minutes to the beach, 2 minutes to the shop, 3 minutes to a restaurant with good food. Rooms spacious and clean, very nice owner and nice family. A good place to relax and book attractions
