Perfect! Just got back our month long honeymoon and this was our favourite hotel we stayed in. We were in the Matterhorn Junior Suite and it was just gorgeous, so comfortable and cosy but spacious. Nice view of the Matterhorn. A bit obstructed by the building in front BUT that didn’t really take away from the view, just made the room feel more private. Room service food was excellent, included breakfast was great and service overall was fantastic. Couldn’t fault the location, central to pretty much everything. Room was a bit warm the first night but we were advised to open a window which we did, no issues after that. Great for the environment! Booked massages and used the spa a few times, so relaxing and everything you need at all times is provided including refreshments, extra towels, etc. Will 100% be staying here again if we come back.

Very cosy room, plush bedding and huge bathroom. Comes with good quality shampoo and balm. A lot of things to do in the hotel itself, we spent time in the sauna, and also enjoyed our welcome drinks and continue to order more from the delicious cocktail lounge. Quite lucky to bump into and chat with the hotel owner Mr. Martin Perren while in my bathrobe in the lift, so you can imagine how down to earth is the owner.

I would say there’s limited varieties capsule coffee the room keeper is giving out. Just caffeinated and decaf. I have had cherries and chocolate elsewhere. At night if could be abit noisy from the outside as there are rowdy partygoers gathering on the street. But it’s not a big deal.

I loved our balcony and liked the view. I loved that restaurants and bars that were attached to the hotel. The free breakfast was pretty good too. The location was great and walking distance to everything.

no AC but I know this is common in Europe. Because there wasn't any AC we had to leave our balcony door open and we happened to be there when the city was hosting a party and it was Switzerland national day too, so we can hear all the noise from the festivities. We had to take sleeping medication to try to sleep throughout the night. I think I would have booked something further away from the city center just to have a quieter environment.

we stayed at room 301 and we couldn’t sleep at all. it was facing the street and another bar and people were loud and partying until 5 am. so basically we were up all nights. It was not quite at all.

Very nice but very small room. Bathroom was large and very nice. Balcony overlooked the Matterhorn which was incredible! Very clean room and bathroom. The shower gel, shampoo etc. was excellent. Great sauna and steam room. Excellent restaurants in the hotel - we liked the Brown Cow restaurant in the hotel for burgers and salads. The breakfast buffet was AMAZING - especially the scrambled eggs you can order from their menu but included with the buffet. The hotel is perfectly located and an easy walk from the train station.

The room was a bit smaller than expected. The "double" bed, which was two twins that were not attached, would slide apart throughout the night which wasn't great but the beds were comfortable. Our biggest issue was the dance club located in the lower level of the hotel -- it played very loud/heavy base music until 4:15am on Fridays/Saturdays/Sundays during the summer months and then in the Winter it's open every night -- so, not great if you want to get some good shut eye.

The room is a solid 4-star quality, and reasonably-priced considering it is High Season. Alpine decor lends considerable charm to the room and the public areas. Matterhorn view from my room. Proactive and friendly staff. Prior to my arrival they asked me for my train schedule so they could meet me at the station. So many hotels around the world, having taken your reservation, don’t care if you can find them or not. Location unbeatable for Zermatt, on main road and surrounded by shops and restaurants. The hotel’s own restaurants are well-patronized and beautifully decorated. Good breakfast with eggs cooked to order and the usual Swiss layout.

Heating hard to control, had to leave balcony door open to maintain a comfortable temperature. Suggestion to management— Duvets are too heavy for a centrally-heated building.

breakfast is wonderful - great a la carte choices and bread bar. Super cosy architecture of teh complete hotel - super cleverly done. Great restaurants and love the Papa Ceasar bar and Pink lounge with its live music. The Spa's whirlpool is phenomenal - loved it. Fits 4 - 5 people if friends - easy.

The music literally kept me up for 2 nights until 4:30 am - I was completely broken after the second night and was not confident to ski well.

The rooms were cozy and comfortable. The bathroom was big and unique with the shower foams and shampoos, just appropriate for the cold weather. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They gave us tips on what to do and where to go. We could see snowfall from our balcony. It was fun. The shuttle pickup and drop off service from the hotel was very helpful.

The breakfast was just sufficient. Not too many spread. The bar was too noisy on the Friday night. We were staying right on top of the bar and it was going on until 5am. Couldn't sleep well.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful, allowing us to store our baggage when we arrived early. The room was attractively furnished with nice extra touches like robes, and, as requested we had a balcony with a great Matterhorn view. The included breakfast was delicious and in a nice room.

The bathroom was separated from the room with a partial wall and no door, which was a bit awkward for showering as the only way to get around the room from one side to the other was through the bathroom area. The only other issue was the elevator, which has some touch screen technology that didn't work half the time.

Room was very nice and convenient. Central Zermatt and only 5min walk to the train station. Staff at front desk and restaurant were both very friendly and helpful! Balcony view was great (not on the Matterhorn side) and the facilities were amazing. Everything very modern and clean and I really like the wood look throughout the hotel. Very good breakfast, our bathroom had a skylight and the bed was very comfortable. All around a great stay.
