Fantastic resort with the most wonderful staff. Can't overstate how friendly and lovely everyone was. Excellent restaurant with very comfortable villas. Recommend.

The island of Gili Gede has been neglected by residents. A lot of trash on the beach and the island spoil the atmosphere. While this is prevelant through much of Indonesia I would have expected the resort's and businesses on the island to take the initiative to keep it clean like some other areas have.

I recently stayed at this stunning hotel, and it exceeded all my expectations. The location is absolutely breathtaking, with beautiful beaches and calm waters perfect for a relaxing getaway. The snorkeling here is fantastic, with plenty of fish and a vibrant reef just waiting to be explored. The hotel even has a jetty to jump off of and provides free snorkeling equipment, which is a great touch. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. They are serviced twice a day—once after breakfast and again during dinner. The staff thoughtfully decorates the room with fresh flowers, making it feel pretty and welcoming. The air conditioning and fans keep the room perfectly cool, and the large, comfy bed ensures a great night’s sleep. The staff at this hotel are truly exceptional. They are incredibly friendly, super helpful, and go out of their way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Their warm hospitality made me feel right at home. The pool is another highlight—it’s fresh, deep, and absolutely amazing. Whether you’re taking a dip to cool off or just lounging poolside, it’s the perfect spot to unwind. For those who enjoy water sports, the hotel offers free kayaks and paddle boards, which is a fantastic bonus. It’s easy to spend hours on the water, taking in the beautiful surroundings. There are also boat trips available, providing a chance to explore even more of the area, as well as relaxing massages offered at an additional cost. The food at the hotel is simply superb. Breakfast, with its delicious eggs, fresh fruit, and juice, is the perfect start to the day. The lunch and dinner menus are equally impressive, offering a variety of excellent dishes. I would highly recommend dining here. Overall, this hotel is a true gem, offering everything you need for an unforgettable stay. Whether you’re looking to relax by the beach, explore the underwater world, or simply enjoy some amazing food, this place has it all.

The location is incredibly beautiful, and the breathtaking views from our room on the hill were simply stunning. The room itself was luxurious and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive.

The room was luxurious at one point, but it quickly deteriorated and became dirty since it was built. You would expect better care for the rooms in such a luxurious establishment. The food menu was excessively priced, and the activities like snorkeling were also overpriced.

Beautiful hotel! The team were absolutely amazing. So attentive and helpful throughout our stay. I was unwell one day and they couldn’t do enough to make sure I was okay; offering me medicines, delivering toast to my room throughout the day - just so kind. The best part, for us, was we got upgraded to a one bedroom villa on arrival which was just amazing. Hasan, was especially helpful throughout our stay.

The only point I have to make here is the price of the restaurant. Compared to the mainland either Lombok or Bali the restaurant is about 3x more expensive. Which you can understand as they have to bring everything over by boat. The quality of the food was good, but was very expensive. No happy hour, so cocktails were too expensive for us!

Beautiful resort on the less visited island of Gili Gede. Staff are all extremely lovely and can’t do enough to help. Restaurant food was delicious. We stayed in the hill top villas which had a stunning view and were very modern. water filter provided in the room was amazing.

AC at times could not keep up as the hill top villas are very large (which is lovely and luxurious but made the AC suffer). Everything else was perfect, just the price is high compared to the rest of Indonesia, for the hotel & the Gili Getaway boat transport - but it’s fair enough & we were happy to pay the premium to be able to visit such a quiet and beautiful island.

What an incredible escape! Gili Gede is an ideal destination for those seeking a serene and relaxing vacation. Kokomo is perfectly located on the island, boasting its own dock that's fantastic for snorkeling right off of. This place is a hidden treasure, especially for enthusiasts of snorkeling and diving. The staff was fantastic, and the hotel's uncrowded atmosphere made it feel like our own private retreat. They even surprised us with a romantic dinner setup, complimentary and without us even requesting it! I would wholeheartedly recommend it with a 10/10 rating.

The great working Team who you feel the most cared with. We got the room upgrade which was an awesome gift from the staff. The villa was stunning & beautiful. I would highly recommend you to stay & choose this hotel to visit. A lot of things to do here - canoe, snorkeling trips (!!!), paddle, tennis, gym, walking, other islands visits are worth to plan it!

No such thing, maybe the restaurant prices are a little bit too high (including taxes) but you cannot eat here every evening

KoKoMo is a really special place: So, highlights: The staff- incredible service, effort, natural engagement, friendliness. Everyone we met (I wish I had the word-count to acknowledge everyone!) was so great, and it made our stay super-special. There is obviously a real focus on training high-level customer engagement, and it really pays off - thank you! A special acknowledgment needed for attention to detail - I had mentioned in a standard email organising transport, that our wedding anniversary was on the penultimate night. Without any further input from me, they organised a private end-of-the-jetty, candlelit dinner along with flowers, speaker etc…all as a lovely surprise. Above and beyond! The food: we read the good reviews, but still managed our expectations - after all, it’s a very small island (and we live in SE Asia, so experience the lack of access to ‘modern supply chain’) - however, we were overwhelmed to discover the chef and team are truly accomplished, and exceeded our expectations every day. They even grow their own greens and herbs - delicious! Great balance of Asian and western choices, always cooked beautifully. Again- thank you- it really made our holiday special. Accommodation: we stayed in the 2-bedroom villa. It is fabulous…very, very spacious living area and outside space, super-comfortable huge bed and choice of bedding, large bathroom, gorgeous pool….all-round superb. Activities: we loved our boat trip, and found the snorkeling fabulous. Kokomo has a fab boat set up - beanbags to sit on to make the cruising between snorkel spots really relaxing. They also set up table, chairs, napkins, plates etc on a deserted beach for our ‘picnic’ lunch-very fun indeed! Having a tennis court was also a bonus for us. The main pool is delightful. Location: Gili Gede is a quiet and very local island…it is not there to service tourists, but all the locals we met were super-friendly. The scenery is stunning.

We have found that usually a hotel can put on a good show for a day or two, and then the cracks begins to show. At KoKoMo, for us, they were consistently great and we haven’t got any criticism. An observation to share would be that, if you are looking for a big beach or loads of time on the beach, the Gilis offer something different : narrow, coral/stony beaches, but for the reason that the reefs offer wonderful snorkeling. The plus is that KoKoMo has a wonderful pool so you can enjoy the view of the ocean, just a few meters away.

If you like amazing food, beautiful marine life and want to have a calm and relaxing holiday, you have to go to Gili Gede and stay at Kokomo. We spent a couple of days here and didn’t want to leave! I really have to stress how great the food was, locally grown and so much flavours! The staff was friendly and very helpful. I recommend everyone to go snorkeling at the closely located islands (Kokomo will arrange everything). The marine life is absolutely amazing! If you’re lucky (which we was) you get to see turtles! A big plus for the tennis court! We stayed at a beachfront villa, which we really enjoyed since you have a beautiful view of the sea and a nice porch to sit and relax during the evenings. I really recommend anyone to visit Lombok and particularly Gili Gede!

The hotel offers excellent service with incredibly friendly staff. We were offered a complimentary room upgrade. We also had the exclusive opportunity to enjoy a romantic full moon dinner on the jetty at sunset. The food in the restaurant is of high quality. There is a wide variety of dishes, especially for lunch and dinner (specialities)

Depending on the weather, plastic waste is washed up on the beach like nearly all over Indonesia. In the immediate vicinity of the resort, the staff ensure that the beach is kept clean. But it is clearly visible when snorkelling and wandering over the island.
