Exceptional in every aspect. I had an amazing spacious room on the first floor with 2 balconies facing the street and a very comfortable bed. I liked that it was a high ceiling old building as this ensured the air quality in the room and ideal temperature for the best sleep. The room as well as the whole guesthouse was spotlessly clean throughout my stay. Surprisingly, there was no issue from noise as all guests were very quiet despite the fact that the hotel was full. Breakfast was delicious and being served until 11am ensured that I never missed it. Location was perfect, just a few steps from the metro station and 20minutes away from the airport. Last but not least, the staff was amazing, welcoming and really kind. Special thanks to Layon, Erik, Rumilo and Samuel for their kindness and helpfullness. Thank you so much for making my stay unforgettable.

Lovely location with a reasonable price for a private room. The metro is literally across the road, making it a very nice and decent neighborhood. I felt safe even late at night, and the bed is comfortable. Access to the kitchen, friendly staff, and a fresh breakfast enhance the overall experience.

Noise from the meter near the room, from other guests in the corridor, and from the bathroom. I couldn't sleep all nights. The room smells of dust and is quite cold and damp. The towel never dried. The hairdryer seems like a child's toy.

The staff members are probably the biggest highlight of this facility. They are very polite and helpful. The breakfast was good as well (coffee, juice, yogurts, bread, cheese, ham, sweet pastry). The room was warm & clean, Wi-Fi connection was fine as well.

The biggest disappointment came from the bathrooms. Simply put: they were not cleaned well enough or often enough. Or maybe the other guests just left a mess every time. Other bathroom concerns: not enough water pressure, variable water temperature, and pressure based on the water usage in the building.

Included breakfast was decent. The place was very clean, you could actually smell cleaning agents as soon as you walk through the front door. Self catering kitchen was great if you want to prepare your own meals. 24 hour access to free tea and coffee was great. Staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Location a little far from many of key sites in Lisbon, but nevertheless, very good, especially being right next to a metro station on a line that can take you directly to both the main train station and the international airport.

No ensuite bathroom with room, awkward having to leave the room to use the bathroom and shower facilities. Rooms lacked a cozy feel to them. Electrical outlets next to the bed for charging devices would be helpful.

- breakfast with gluten free option - very clean even in the toilet - felt like home feeling - helpful staff - things are well thought of - old stylish house

- doors are not isolated so i could hear people watching movies in another room. get a pair of ear plugs to be safe

Breakfast was amazing, comfortable clean room, nice design of hotel, Great location near the subway, very kind staff, reception 24/7. Thank you!

As the building is little bit old, everything is easy to hear, so sometimes we heard our loud neighbours from upstairs. Also there could be more fresh towels on the floor in the shared bathrooms. Otherwise Great!

This place is amazing. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was included in my stay and it was beautiful and so fresh. There was a variety of pastries, fruit, cereals, bread, tea/coffee, juice and yoghurts to choose from. The location is perfect as the metro station is just outside the front door and everything is within walking distance and also the neighbourhood is lovely. I will definitely stay here again when I go back to Lisbon.

Everything was perfect but maybe in the summer time the rooms might be a bit warm as we found them warm this time of year but very comfortable.

Fabulous staff (24/7) - friendly and helpful. Really appreciated the help carrying luggage up so many floors as no elevator - they say they do it all the time! Which made it easy to choose to stay there! There is (complimentary) coffee/tea and delicious snacks/fruit available 24/7 in the very pleasant area where there are tables and stools to sit on. Breakfast is an amazing assortment of options - buns, croissants, bread, cheeses, hams, fruit salad, pieces of fruit, yogurt - and sweets of all kinds including custard tarts! The coffee maker is fabulous! (Sadly no gluten free bread - but Pingo Doce grocery store, a few steps down the street, sells wonderful GF bread). They had soy and almond milk options!! The whole place is very clean - including the bathroom - nice shower and great hot water! Beds comfortable, especially the one in the room that is a bit more expensive. Each floor has a kitchen with a fridge microwave and a small area to eat or lounge (some furniture a little older though). Be sure to have cash if you want to have cheap eats in the neighborhood - several good places are cash only. Street parking nearby but only free 7 pm to 9 am. A bit awkward to get luggage from car to the entrance as no place to park for a few minutes. Easy access to the metro station right across the street. It was a challenge to get luggage from metro station up the stairs to ground level - couldn't see an elevator. Hair dryer available - but you need to request it. (Stayed 3 different nights in 3 different rooms).

Some of the rooms face the street and are noisy. Was worth getting a slightly more expensive room that faced the side - much quieter. For the rooms off the hall, the light in the hall woke me up when my partner left the room during the night. ?changing the light to a night light so not so bright during the night? Sometimes the fan wasn't enough when it was really hot - too noisy to open window in room facing the street. Fan was fine in the quieter rooms.

The first thing we noticed was how impeccably clean everything was. The rooms and common areas were spotless. Although the bathrooms are shared, it was never an issue — they were always available when needed and, importantly, always kept clean. The staff was another highlight. Everyone we interacted with was incredibly friendly, and always eager to help (even carrying a 23kg luggage to the 3rd floor). The location was good, the metro stop is just accross the street. Breakfast was simple but just right to start the day. And the building itself was absolutely stunning! The old architecture gives the place such character, with unique decor that adds warmth and a charming vibe. We’d highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a cozy, budget-friendly spot.

It was quite noisy as you can hear everything in next rooms.

It's our second stay here in two years and we just love it. The staff is very welcoming and friendly and they went out of their way to accommodate our needs (like providing softer pillows). There is 24h reception service; coffee, tea and biscuits are complimentary. The place is very clean and quiet, rooms and beds are comfortable. There are 3 bathrooms for 7 rooms per floor and they are cleaned very often. We never had any troubles finding one available. The guest house is very well situated, at 2 min walk from Saldanha metro station. There are very good restaurants and cafes very close by. We will certainly come back again here. The value for money is outstanding.
