nice room for a family of four. great lobby, very friendly staff

room was very dusty, clothes turned dusty after a few minutes in the room. please clean more than bathroom only. (see pictures); breakfast options too complicated, we prefer a simple buffet without a menu.

Travelling party of 2 adult, 2 children (under 5). Quiet location. Walking distance to train or local shopping centre with groceries (about 10 mins). Good size room and clean facilities. We had breakfast included, which includes a choice out of 4 cooked items (e. scrambled eggs or omelette or French toast with one slice of bacon, one piece of grilled zucchini, one chicken wing) a small selection of fruits, cereals and rice buffet style. Kids were free to enjoy the buffet items but not from cooked items under the breakfast deal we got. Would stay again next time in Nagoya.

No laundry facilities to do own laundry (only paid service which is expensive). Closest Laundromat about 10 minute walk. Also there is a fee of 1,000 yen for lost key cards, which I unfortunately had to pay.

First off, the location was excellent. We were a short walk from Nagoya Station, and best of all, it was easy too. From the Station, walk towards the spiral building (you CANNOT miss it), and then take a left. Aloing the way, there are lots of local eateries that are always full (so you know they're good), and it's also a minute or two away from the local fish market, which offers tonnes of fresh seafood. Apart from that, there are two kombinis (7-11 and Family Mart) about 5 minutes away (although they are not as big as others and often run out of my favourite tamago-sando). The hotel was also very stylish and chic. Honestly, we'd never choose a place like this because we'd assume that the price would have been too prohibitive. Fortunately for us, it wasn't and we found the perfect little spot in Nagoya. The room itself were superbly designed. We needed an extra bed, so it was a bit cramped, but with a bit of imagination and rearranging, we made the space work well for us. The beds were comfortable, and the amenities were superb. The shower (my most crucial factor) was hot and powerful, which we all needed after 10 hours of walking each day. But what made the 5-star stay truly unforgettable was the staff, in particular one Ryosuke Kato! He was the first person to meet us when we checked-in, and we immediately hit it off. Over the next week or so, he took great care of us, and gave us tonnes of recommendations around Nagoya, the smaller cities around, and especially his hometown of Okazaki. In fact, his hospitality and warmth made it feel like we were staying with an old friend in his very posh and upmarket apartment, rather than at one of Nagoya's coolest hotels. We will truly miss him and cannot wait for the day when we see each other again. Ps. When at Nikko Style, make sure you rent the bikes to explore the city a bit. You just need to navigate the parking.

Nothing really, apart from two small, teeny-weenie complaints. One, the trash bins are way too small! It's hard to fit all the kombini food, souvenir, and Japanese snack wrappers in the little (yet absolutely kawai-i) bins that they have in the rooms. Although we simply got more bags to put our overflowing trash into. Secondly, the hotel also doesn't have washing machines (although they do provide a laundry service). However, we've just been spoilt and accustomed to washing machines in our previous hotels in other cities, so were a bit sad about not having one on the property.

- Massive rooms compared to other hotels that I have stayed at in Japan. Very spacious. - Loved the bathroom! Esp the shower which was separate from the bath itself, as well as the seperate toilet. - Breakfast was very nice. Not a lot of options, but still very tasty. - Lots of local restaurants around, which was great to explore and try. - Close to convenience stores. - Staff were friendly and helpful. - Access to early check in if you signed up for free membership. - HUGE bed. - Nice amenities.

- The water in the bath and shower taps wasn’t very hot. I raised this with staff who confirmed that I had the tap all the way hot, however, the water was only just warm. - A little bit far from Nagoya station itself, but there were a few a little closer. - A lot of banging noises were heard for several hours on our last night. Not sure where it was coming from, but this disturbed our sleep a little bit.

The room was luxurious and large by Japanese standards. The beds were amazing and soft. The whole floor was super quiet. The staff were quick to check us in and gave clear directions in English as needed and suggestions on what to see in the historical area very close by. It was a surprise to find we were so close to a heritage area of Nagoya. It is also a reasonable distance to the Nagoya castle but a taxi ride is still better than walking when it’s hot!

It was a bit of a walk to the Nagoya station even via a subway trip - a taxi ride on our return trip was the better option. It didn’t cost much and it is easy to have one stop right outside the hotel.

Staff were very sincere and pleasant. Room was big and loved that toilet is separate from bathroom. When they heard that we will be away v early for our KAMIKOCHI trip, they offered to pack sandwiches for our long bus journey. So thoughtful and full of initiative. Our breakfast was great too w variety.

It’s easily 15min walk from the main Nagoya station. But that will not deter us from coming back here again. The helpful staff and big room made it worth the walk.

We had a great stay at this hotel! It’s located just a 10-minute walk from the nearest train station, which is only one stop away from Sakae, the bustling heart of Nagoya. The super king room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The staff were consistently friendly and polite, making us feel very welcome throughout our stay. The hotel also has a cafe. One thing I didn’t realize was that they don’t have coin laundry facilities, but there’s a clothes line in the bathroom, and they offer laundry service if needed. They also seem to provide a luggage delivery service, though we didn’t need it during our short visit. Overall, I had a pleasant experience and would definitely consider staying here again.

Coin laundry service would be good but the hotel was great regardless.

1. Excellent service from the front desk, housekeeping, and style kitchen. 2. Reasonable car park rate at 1,800 yen for 24-hour block. 3. Gym at level 2 4. Walking distance to JR Nagoya. Has many nearby eateries that serve good breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

1. Next to the expressway. Noise from siren, motorbikes during wee hours. If you are someone who needs a quiet place to stay, do choose the stack that is away from the expressway. 2. Need to pay for your child if he or she is above the age of 6 and below the age of 12.

Modern art deco lounge area was very nice and relaxing. The background music in the lounge and restaurants was high fidelity quality and pleasing to listen to. The hotel restaurant and breakfast was very good. The room and bathroom was immaculately clean. The reception staff was excellent, and very courteous and helpful. The bed was huge and comfortable and the HDMI dongle on the TV was a nice touch. There were plenty of restaurants near the hotel, but we mostly enjoyed the hotel's restaurant cafe and restaurant as the hotel ambience was excellent.

Not much to complain about. We would stay there again in the future without hesitation. Some minor 'nits' was that the room lighting system had only two options: very bright and OFF. While the lighting control panel suggested it had other settings, it didn't really work. My other nit was that the two pillows offered were uncomfortable. The down pillow was extremely soft and offered no support whatsoever. The other pillow was a buckwheat filled pillow that was very hard and lumpy. Aside from these two nits, this is an excellent hotel.

Felt welcome when walked into the hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. The room is specious and comes with many bathroom accessories eg facial toner, lotion and cleansing foam, mouth wash, cotton bud, hair tie, etc. Separate bathroom and toilet. The bedroom lights come with dimmers. 15 mins walk from Nagoya station, very convenient.

No washing machine inside the hotel, but it has a cloth line in the bathroom. The sliding wooden panel used to separate the washing basin and beds was not clean and had some tooth paste/water stains on it.
