I absolutely loved my stay at AAOK in Berry Springs. I have not stayed in many caravan parks before, and this was a real experience for me to get to know Australian rural and campervan life. There was a very chilled vibe to the place, and it was great to talk with my fellow "campers" - some of them were real characters! My single room was so cosy, and had everything I needed for a great self-catered stay. I particularly appreciated the use of the microwave and toaster in the shared kitchen area, the sunset and the birdsong the following morning. Berry Springs is a lovely little place, and I would have liked to have stayed longer.

I appreciated meeting with the owner who was helpful and responsive to my questions. I didn't appreciate, upon asking where I could put my spent cigarette, the response that "smoking is bad for you" - a rather patronising thing to say really to a guest and someone you barely know.

We loved staying here and had a very roomy accommodation on the lake . The kitchen had everything that was needed/wanted and there were extra bonuses such as puzzles/toys and even a ping pong table. Staff were friendly and helpful and the location was relaxing and peaceful. We brought our own food so cannot rate the restaurant. Would definitely return and recommend to anyone visiting.

We found it slightly difficult to find our cabin due to confusing signage but that was probably our fault! I don't really like shower curtains (prefer a glass screen) but it was comfortable - water pressure and hot water was good - and adequate for our stay.

We didn't have breakfast, but we did have dinner, which was good value and very enjoyable

The room had a kettle plus tea & coffee making items, but no toaster although advertised as having a toaster. Wasn't a problem as we enjoyed a very tasty bacon & egg toasty at the nearby service station! Reception on the TV was poor - probably an aerial fault. Again this was not a problem as we rarely watch TV

Quaint. Loved the setting and the variety of birds!

I arrived late with my dog and was told to go upstairs to the restaurant to check in. When I did this, the man loudly and rudely exclaimed “we don’t allow dogs in the restaurant, mate!” What else was I supposed to do? I was exhausted, I just wanted to check in.

Really enjoyed our stay at AAOK! We rented a room and were pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the bed was! Also looked great for camping. Has a lovely little pool which is well-maintained and had a surprisingly well-equipped small gym with a squat rack and free weights!

The location of the Cabin directly on the shores of the Lake with a nice veranda gives you zhe chance to sit down to watch and enjoy the nature surrounding you. The Cabin itself is very comfortable with everything you need.

We loved the character of the place and how beautifully it is maintained. The cafe area was fantastic with enough space to not feel cramped but close enough to others that you were sharing an experience. It was lovely to have kids running around on the lawn below with the birds ….

We loved it all.

Wow! This was the best value accomodation and restaurant we found in the NT. We stayed in the 2 bedroom lake cabin with an enormous verandah looking straight onto the lake. The verandah had a ping pong table, BBQ, dining table, washing machine and camping chairs. In front of verandah was a spacious garden area. Inside the cabin wasn’t fancy but it had everything we needed and more. Each window had views of the 2 lakes the cabin sits between. Despite all of the cooking facilities we thought we’d try the restaurant which had excellent food and drinks for very reasonable prices. We enjoyed it so much we ate there both nights - grilled and battered barramundi were both superb. Very close to the Berry Springs, IGA & Johnny’s cafe. Staff were lovely, highly recommend!

Tiny minor thing but the windows could do with a clean

the little extra things were the best part. I loved that there was enough shampoo, soap and extras for the full four nights for each guest. There were plenty of towels and even a bunch of table tennis balls that my son loved to play with. Our cabin was facing sunrise on the lake and the view was just beautiful. Exceeded expectations.

So insignificant, but I would love a full length mirror - otherwise everything we needed was there and everything was amazing. Thank you
