The hotel was spotless, the rooms were average size and well designed and the beds were very comfortable. I travelled with other family members and we had a total of three rooms. All were very happy and breakfast was outstanding with a selection of coffee, breads, cold cuts as well as eggs, beans and bacon. Staff was friendly and the location was close to the sights in the Bergpark. We would definitely stay again.

Very comfy bed and quite full breakfast with plant-based milk and yoghurt (loved that). The coffee making station in a room was a nice bonus. Slippers in the room a nice touch (though you will not need them, the carpets are really fluffy).

If I was the owner I would pay a bit more attention to little details like really good coffee for breakfast or a really smart TV in the room. But these little details do not matter if you stay for a night or two... So just sit back and enjoy:)

We were expecting a quiet place to relaxafter a long drive. We were in a room right above the bar terrace and since it was almost 30c we wanted to open the windows. Unfortunately it was very noisy. After 22h30 the terrace closed and we could finally sleep. We recommend adding airco or ventilation to this room, maybe others are not affected by outside noise.

Wondered what we’d booked when we pulled up as kerb appeal was poor. However could not fault the interior. very clean and smart. excellent room, small but adequate. very pleasant stay.

Prejudice against motor bike users as when we went to park at the front we were asked to move the motorbike around the side and the receptionist said it was because we were taking up a full parking space. Well surely this is the case for Motorbikes too and we were two people on a motorbike so what is the difference between two people on a bike or two people in a car??? we thought this ignorance and catabolising against bikers was a thing of the past. Also at first the staff in the restaurant were a bit blunt and unwelcoming but this did change during our meal and they became chatty and pleasant.

Comfortable large bed, lovely bathtub set in the room. Fresh new and clean rooms. Breakfast was lovely and specially the extremely friendly and cheerful breafast hostess added to the overall experience.

Parking could be an issue if you arrive later to the location although there are free parking spaces they are normally taken.

The location was great, right next to a bus stop and with direct access into the nearby park. The room itself was clean and beautiful. The personel was very kind and helpfull, both during breakfast and dinner. Also not unimportant: the wifi was fast and stable.

Unfortunately we could not connect our devices to the tv. Furthermore we encountered a small mouse in the public downstairs bathroom. I assume they immediatly took action as we never saw it again.

Hotel is situated by the woods and beautiful park with water cascades only 30mins walk from the hotel. Alternatively you can take a bus or drive by car with the car park close by for €2 per 2h. Italian restaurant in the hotel has excellent Italian chef. Cosy atmosphere, relaxing music, very helpful and friendly staff.

Plenty of car park room (we were in a van). Welcoming staff at reception, the room was larger than expected - nicely furnished and spotlessly clean. We had a Pizza outside on the terrace, as did several others; the waitress kept her sense of humour despite being rushed off her feet. Breakfast was great & included in the rate. The hotel is a short drive to either the Hercules park, or to central Kassell.

Nothing, but drop off/pick up your bags at the main entrance as hauling them from/to the car park is up/downhill and the smooth area is narrow.

Stay was excellent! The room and amenities were very well considered and had everything we needed. The staff were very kind and helpful. There was plentiful parking, with every spot suitable for charging if needed. The location was perfect for quick access to the top entrance of the Herkules/Wilhelmshöhe park, and in a quiet area. Great restaurant.

The hotel is located next to the Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe, perfect for going on hikes around the area. Staff was super friendly and helpful; they went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Breakfast was great too!
