Cocoma took good care of us! Place is easy to find, staff was friendly and the whole place has welcoming vibe. Room was beautiful and we didnt miss anything. They even have coffee machine (coffee included), water and some fruit in the room - that was really nice! Yes it can get loud on the street, but again, you are very central in the city of Amsterdam, what do you expect? But Cocoma thinks of everything and provides even earplugs! Checkin and Checkout was easy and we will definitely come back again.

The service and location from the downtown by even walking was good. Breakfast was fulfilling and good and even laundry possibility was spot on. I enjoyed my staying!

During a night time some loud speaking echoed too much from a corridor. Some of the staff were too cranky at some point.

The vibe, the room decor, the kitchen, the cat, the chilled kind staff, the location.

The sound coming from the stairs, the sound of the key locks that woke me up when any doors on my floor was open, the sound from the tramway that I could hear. Installing double paneled windows would help for the street, being able to close the existing door that is already there would help with the stairs. I understand the need for dormitories to have a sound system but an other option could be proposed. I should have tried the ear plugs that are distributed at the entrance.

Absolute great lo action. 1 tram, #4, from Amsterdam Central, 10 min. Same tram to RAI exhibition centre, 15 min. Just across the canal, there is a market street with food stalls. Hostel has a lovely kitchen, with free coffee and apples, a sofa and some chairs, and large table. I loved the cute cat, Mishke. Stairs are steep amd front door is world war VII proof. Sooooooo heavy. Staff was very helpful and friendly and accommodated my request of a bottom.bunk because of shoulder injury.

Stairs. Could do with a privacy curtain on the bed. And a soft light. Ceiling light is harsh

I had a private double room and it was lovely, much better than I expected for a hostel actually. The themed decorations and coffee maker in the room were nice touches. Room was immaculately clean, and I enjoyed the view of the back garden. Very close to tram station making it a very convenient

The noise made by other guests as they checked in late at night. Stomping and banging luggage up the stairs,, talking in loud voices and slamming doors. This went on until 1am or so. Not the hostel's fault, of course, but inconsiderate guests. Perhaps something could be done to soften the door closing, and carpet on the stairs to mute the noise.. ? Unfortunately I didn't notice the ear plugs provided by the hostel until morning!

It was lovely!! The location is absolutely awesome! Is not close to the centre but the tram stop is right in front of the hostel so you are 10 minutes away. The staff was incredible, super friendly, you have free fruit, tea and coffee and we stayed on a Tuesday night so they gave us free cheese and wine. It is a bit more expensive than you normal hostel but totally worth it! I will definitely comeback!

Everything was perfect so This is more an FYI , the property doesn’t have a lift so you if you arrive before check in time you will need to take your luggage downstairs to their storage room and then up the stairs, if you are on groundfloor is only one set but if not it could be more so keep that in mind if you want to take luggage

We loved our stay at cocomama, the staff were friendly and informative, check in and out was quick and easy to use. The communal garden and kitchen were clean and tidy and had everything we needed. In the room we had (farm), the bed was very comfy and clean and had everything we needed including a coffee maker that was excellent 👌 the location was perfect with tram stops just outside the hotel it is an ideal location for exploring the city. The map of the city with loads of suggestions for places to eat,drink and visit is just a touch of class 👍 umbrellas at the door in case it is raining. Overall we had an excellent stay at cocomama and will definitely return...thank you

super friendly staff, lovely environment. Bed sheets were really clean, also the bathroom in the room was clean. We loved hanging out in the common area. It was so cozy and kitchen was super nice to cook. There is coffee/tea to have whenever you want. Also the breakfast was pretty good.

We stayed in the room for six beds.Room was a bit small for six people, also the bunk beds are not as solid as you may assume. When you move, upper/lower bed also moves.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere in the hostel is warm and relaxed. The facilities in the communal kitchen were good. Coffee filter machine made a surprisingly good cup of coffee. The fruit bowl and free food box were a nice touch. Good location.

Bunks are a bit old / wobbly and crap a bit when you move but that's as you expect in most hostels. They do sell padlocks for the lockers, which are a good size. The Bathroom in the shared dorm was small but clean.
