Great value budget hotel, but all the basics were top-rate: cleanliness, staff courtesy, newly refurbished reception and hotel room. Many very pleasant surprises - best of which was the breakfast - huge choice of Western/Asian/Healthy substantial breakfasts including a good nasi lemak, all in the casual restaurant next door which caters to hotel guests only for breakfast. Very newly refurbished, bright and spacious area run by a very sweet local lady. I also wasn't expecting a large smart TV (you can use your own Netflix account), filter for drinking water, and plenty of new, hotel-branded towels. The room was large enough as well, although it was quite noisy due to the main road (I was on 2nd floor facing the road) and the air-con -- I bring a sleep mask and ear plugs so this didn't affect my stay. Location wise, I was travelling specifically for an event nearby so this was perfect. It is a more suburban location however still considered one of the more accessible neighbourhoods to downtown Singapore, and the bus transport links are good (central enough that you get many bus routes to where you want to go). It is also in a very safe area with lots of eateries, fruit stands - it is quite removed from the "red light district" streets in the area and seems suitable for families.

Better sound insulation from the main road and a quieter air-con. Windows appeared to be single-glazed. But I brought ear plugs so not a problem.

The cleanliness was very good. The breakfast was simple but healthy. The fridge was very good and it helped us to store our juices. The drinking water facility was also good. We did not have to buy any water

They could have given at least a pair of usable sandals and a shower gel in the room

1) The front desk was very helpful in changing the room. In the first room (2nd floor), after the shower, the water in the bathroom didn't drain down during the whole night, there's water accumulated on 70% of the floor, making it difficult to even use the sink to get drinking water or wash hands. Fortunately, after giving this feedback to the staff, he helped to change the room in about 2 hours. 2) The staffs were also very nice for early arrival by helping to store the luggage (also after check out). 3) Cleanliness: thanks to the staff for the daily housekeeping! 4) Facilities: basically as described on the main page. There's an international socket with a USB on the wall, so no need to use the conversion plug, and it's possible to charge the laptop and the phone at the same time. 5) Location: it's close to Aljunied MRT station, which connects to the airport. 6) It's a little bit noisy for the rooms facing the avenue, but since I'm a heavy sleeper, and having windows with natural light is more important for me, so it was OK. But the rooms on the other side are quiet. 7) Room size: at least it was possible to lay down and open one 32" luggage and one 16" luggage, which is good for a country with scarce spaces.

In the first room (2nd floor), there is a structural problem in the bathroom floor. After the shower, the water in the bathroom didn't drain down during the whole night, there's water accumulated on 70% of the floor, making it slippery and there is a danger of falling. Maybe (?) adjusting the slope of the floor by 1 or 2 degrees towards the drain, making it easier for the water to flow, would perhaps solve the problem.

Very nice, modern and clean room with bathroom. Comfortable beds. Good price for Singapore. Our room was ready earlier and luggage storage is also available. MRT green line connecting airport and city center is 15 minutes walking distance (buses are closer).

The rooms are clean, and the staff is pleasant. At first, we were given a room without a window, but we asked to change it, and the next day we were moved to another room. The breakfasts are very good. The selection of dishes is not large, but everything is tasty and varied. The location is good, close to the metro. It takes about 30 minutes to get to the city center from the hotel.

I didn't like that the room description didn't mention that some rooms might not have a window. I found hotels that were cheaper and closer to the center with rooms without windows, but I specifically wanted a room with a window. Although I was moved to another room, be careful as you might be placed in a room without a window.

It was clean and we could get fresh towels or sheets on request. The beds were comfy, the room had tea, coffee and sugar with a kettle and a water tap. There was shower gel provided and a little dental pack which was super cute. You can watch Netflix on the TV. We were also fortunate enough to get complementary breakfast. We really enjoyed the stay thank you!

The location was quite far out, but around 45-1 hour walk into marina Bay Area, or could get the MRT from kelang and change. The breakfast was okay, sometimes quite cold.

Exactly what we needed for a short stay. The location is fantastic, with easy access to public transport and many of the city’s main attractions. While the rooms are quite small, they are clean and well-maintained. For the price, it's hard to beat, especially given how expensive accommodation can be in Singapore. Overall, this hotel offers great value for money and is perfect if you're looking for a convenient place to stay while exploring the city. We would definitely consider staying here again!

Rooms are very small but it’s a minor issue if you’re only there for a day or two

Only had breakfast as special freebie. This was good. Have to say breakfast not good. Everything cold. Eggs, vegetables. Steamed dumplings only good thing. Room spotless, and very quiet. Everything new. 10 minutes walk from my son’s. Felt very secure. Lots of places to eat round about.

See above…. Man in the dining area also very miserable unlike staff on reception. Room had no window. Stayed about 10 days before. This time window but view only onto a pitched tiled roof. Bathroom floor, meant to be wet room , so badly drained almost flooded everywhere. The breakfast…!
