We loved the view and the overall aesthetic of the hotel. The staff were sooo lovely. The pool was gorgeous and so was the room. Lovely coffee shop on site, shame they didn’t do alcoholic drinks in the afternoon/evening.

It was slightly out of the main Sairee centre. Highly recommend hiring a moped to get around as it was 2-3 down into the centre. However they did have a prompt taxi service, just would cost more z

The mattras of the bed was great. The room was really big and had a beatiful modern interior. Great view from the balcony and the bath on the balcony was just perfect. The staff is very polite and friendly. There is a bar next to the pool. They don't serve food. But there is a possibility to order food/breakfast in local restaurants via the staff. The pool is very refreshing and has a great view. It's a little and calm resort. You can rent bikes via the reception and they offer taxirides to the pier.

Pool is very nice and the view from the pool is beautiful. Staff in reception are very nice and friendly. The hotel is very close to Koh Nang Yuan island which you can order a taxi boat to arrive there, we didn't know that. We asked for the room to be decorated for a birthday before arriving and it was decorated beautifully. The hotel provides breakfast by the pool or at your room and as well as a food delivery service from local restaurants until 7PM. Hotel provides a taxi service that you can WhatsApp and get picked up until midnight Hotel staff is very responsive in WhatsApp (until 8PM)

Location is far from the center if you do not drive a scooter; it's impossible to walk cause it's super hot all the time and the hotel is uphill; we had to order a taxi every time we left the hotel and came back. .each way is 200 Baht; We booked the standard room in a garden zone with no view that was small for us and not worth the price. From what we could see from the outside, the best rooms are those with views of the pool and the sea. I think the difference is noticeable. Breakfast wasn't very good, better to eat in the city. Reception is available only until 8PM

We initially only booked for two nights here. But we liked our room and the whole resort (including the staff) so much that we extended our stay for another 8 nights. We even spend a fair amount of time on our balcony and at the resort's pool area (a thing we usually never do when traveling) Some of our key highlights were: + Amazing view (especially during sun sets) + Extremely comfortable beds + Super nice and considerate staff + Very clean rooms

(The following points are just listed here to give the most complete review I can provide) Since the resort only opened 2 months ago there are a few things that aren't available yet, e.g. I think they're planning to open a little bar at the pool and also a rooftop restaurant Another thing that MIGHT become a problem in the future is the maintenance of the property. Since we could already see some very minor wear and tear on some niche parts - but only time can tell if this will become an issue or not (just want to make sure that this is a vague prediction on my part and hasn't been a problem during our stay here)

Perfect Stay at AVA Resort We had an absolutely amazing stay at the AVA Resort! The hotel staff were exceptional—always attentive, incredibly friendly, and super helpful throughout our entire visit. They made us feel right at home and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. One of the most convenient aspects was that the hotel organized scooters and taxis for us, including our ride to the ferry. This made our checkout process incredibly smooth and stress-free. The resort itself is beautifully designed, with lots of attention to detail. Our room was spotless, bright, and had a stunning view of the sea. Since the resort is located on the west coast, we got to enjoy breathtaking sunsets every evening. It was truly the perfect way to end each day. What we also loved was that the resort is situated just slightly outside the busy areas, offering a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. But if you do want to get into town, it’s only a 5-minute scooter ride to downtown. So you get the best of both worlds—tranquility and easy access to all the local attractions. Overall, it was a perfect stay, and we wholeheartedly recommend AVA Resort to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing vacation!

The hotel is so lovely. The pool area is beautiful and the room was really clean and cool with fantastic views!!! The staff were lovely and really helpful. They have a taxi service they suggest to use which will pick you up if you WhatsApp them and we found they did the best rates (200 Baht for a pick up at Sairee to the hotel). We would definitely stay here again.

It was pretty quiet so lacked a bit of atmosphere but the hotel can't be blamed for this- just something to note. A bit more upbeat music around the pool area might have helped as it was quite quiet acoustic music everyday. The hotel doesn't serve any food or alcohol however they are linked really well with the local restaurants so it's really easy to get things delivered, again wasn't a massive problem but just something to be aware of if you like having a pool bar/restaurant on site. They are located about a 20 minute walk to Sairee beach. This was fine walking there in the evenings as it's all downhill but we didn't walk back any of the nights we stayed as it is a really steep hill and no pavement so didn't feel overly safe in the dark.

In terms of location it’s perfect, you need a ped but that speaks for most of thailand and definitely Koh Tao. The setting is unbelievable and you’ll never stay anywhere else like it for this price, in europe it would be 10x the price. Trust me I’ve booked a cabin in wales before and it’s cost us a lot more! It’s a must and if you’re hesitant about it, I’m sure in 12 months it’ll be twice the price once it’s more known.

I feel like they’re missing a trick not doing breakfast in the cafe and turning the cafe into a restaurant / bar in the evening for guests and visitors. Also needs a bit more of an atmosphere but these are small things and can’t change my mind about the 10/10

Outstanding hotel! The room was spotless, lovely design and layout. Lovely resort but a small complex. Staff were super helpful, would message instantly on WhatsApp with any questions, would reiterate that delivery services would be closing each day incase you wanted food ordering in. The views from the balconies / pool were outstanding.

Very little to dislike about this resort. Due to location it is about a 20 min walk from town, and that walk is not for the feint hearted! It cost 400thb return for a taxi to town, which for a long stay is quite expensive. I think for the cost of the resort, and having stopped at other similar places in Thailand the hotel would greatly benefit from a free shuttle service into town, especially since they don’t have an onsite kitchen, as much as they do offer delivery from restaurants it’s nice to be in the town and walk around.

Prior to checking in I spoke with the hotel via their social media page and arranged a taxi from the pier. Very straight forward and the taxi was waiting. From the moment I checked in, I knew I’d made the right choice booking this place. The place is immaculate. The staff are amazing and friendly and the view from the room. Wow! Our room was stunning and super clean. The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant but you are immediately given the hotel what’s app number and you are sent various menu’s for local restaurants that deliver. I really liked this concept. The hotel what’s app is very responsive and answered any questions I had within minutes. The busy area is around 2-3 minutes on a motorbike. Perfect distance away for us. I will certainly return to this hotel.
