The view is spectacular especially if one is into constellation watching. The north end of the island is very quiet and less populated, in the night one can see even the smallest stars

The road up is difficult but manageable if you drive carefully and dont mess up

Great place to stay. Epic views (especially for the sunset), really nice pool & bar area to eat meals, have a few drinks and chill out. Andrew and Peay are fantastic and really made our stay brilliant. Andrew was able to recommend dive centres, beaches for snorkelling, best times of day to go and sorted snorkel hire and moped hire for us at a price that felt so reasonable. Sorted taxis for us to and from the ferry port (no rip off commission added) and the room was great - large, powerful aircon and great balcony.

Like the rest of the island, you need a moped to get there. It’s a 25 min walk from Sairee Beach and the final hill is very steep. Would be tiring after a day at the beach! But you can’t really get around Koh Tao without a moped so anyway so wasn’t a problem for us. You do need some confidence on a moped on the first few goes up the hill.

Stayed in the family room (Room 0). Room had both fan and AC. The AC worked well and the bed was very comfortable. The rooms are set far back from the main road and very quiet. There was a well-equipped kitchen area with a fridge and a small gas range that worked well for cooking simple meals. The wifi was fast and reliable. Beautiful pool. The resort is a bit of a hike from Sairee Beach and up a steep hill so I would recommend renting a motorbike unless you are looking to get a lot of exercise. Staff was friendly and helpful. Recommended.

The rooms and pool are great value for money. The view is also great. It’s a good location if you are going to rent a scooter, only a couple minutes to the main area. You can rent scooters from them, book activities and travel out of the island. They also offer a breakfast for an additional price. There are some simple foods like cup noodles and Pringles to buy as well as some beers and other drinks. The owners were really helpful with information about the island, told us good places to go and places to avoid.

If you don’t want to rent a scooter, you will either have to walk up and down a big steep hill or spend money for taxis everyday (taxis here are more expensive than other places in thailand). There was no free drinking water. We also asked to borrow a spoon since we had bought some yogurts from 7/11 for breakfast, but they wouldn’t let us use a spoon unless we bought a meal. That seemed a bit extreme

Pool area was great. Pool water was nice and cool. Owners were very nice and easy going. They were almost always available. Breakfast was prepared on demand and drinks were always available for very affordable prices.

We stayed in a bungalow that did not have ac. This was our mistake, as the humidity combined with the heat was a bit too much in the bungalow. There was very little air circulation so the bathroom smell lingered in the bedroom at all times. We would’ve happily stayed at the resort a bit longer if there had been normal hotel rooms available at the time of our stay.

Stunning view from the property, we had the sea front bungalow and woke up each morning with views out to sea. Bungalow was in great condition and perfectly clean. Breakfast is available, is great value and very tasty.

To get the stunning views the property is up hill, 15-20 min walk from the main town. Unlike others we didn’t rent motorbikes but walked to and from the property regularly so it is possible (just be ready for the uphill in the heat). Would be super quick on a bike - and either way we felt very worthwhile for the quiet environment and views on offer.

This is a common tour available from many places on the island however it’s convenient to book it there and then with pickup at the hotel at the same price you would book it anywhere else.

You really need a bike rental to stay here. Otherwise you’ll be in taxis several times a day. It’s up a very steep hill about a 20-25 minute walk from town. Worth getting a taxi from the pier when you arrive. Power dropped a couple of times.

Beautiful place to stay with an amazing view for sunsets. The manager of the resort is very helpful and friendly. The bungalow was clean (we had one with fan and it’s was enough for us) with hammock and nice view. The breakfast are very yummy, personally I recommend omlette. Also you will need scooter for transport but you can rent it at the resort for good price. The island is a great place for snorkeling and at the reception you can rent very good mask and for a lot cheaper than at the beaches. We had a blast there, Koh Tao is a breathtaking island for sure we will be coming back. Thank you for everything :)

Stayed a bit longer here, almost two months. The place and the staff were absolutely perfect. Very helpful and nice staff and all the daily routines work smoothly. The cleaning times can be agreed and everyone is helpful. The room (deluxe) was spacious and with well working amenities and the view from the balcony is absolutely great. The location is a bit far from the town and up the hill, so I wouldn't probably stay without a scooter. With one it's only like 2-5 minutes to most places in Sairee and you can rent one from the hotel too. On the other hand, the bit more remote location gives perfect peace. No traffic or party noise, just the nature. Will definitely stay again. :)

The view from my room was magical, looking over the ocean and seeing beautiful sunsets. My room had excellent privacy, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was big. The people managing the accommodation were extremely friendly and helpful with tips on where to snorkel. Accessing the property by motorbike or on foot are both simple. It's about 15 min walk to sairee beach. Breakfast was also delicious. For me, it was a perfect mix of being close to the action in sairee beach but in a quiet paradise when at the accommodation .
