really well located - beautifully decorated hotel for a great price - spacious rooms and nice rooftop area. I was a solo female traveller and never encountered any issues in the area. Just a short walk from the main street in Tulum centro. Whilst also being very quiet at night. Staff was very helpful with suggestions and making me feel comfortable - thank you to Gladys & Luisa!

There was an issue with the plumbing/electricity for half a day while I was there. The internet was quite spotty too, but that is a problem in the area. The staff did all they could to be helpful despite the issues. The hotel itself was quieter than I expected, not much opportunity to socialise as there was no breakfast/restaurant/bar at the hotel also which was my only down point.

It's all about what type of stay your looking for. For my husband and I the caliza was great! There's not alot of comforts but just enough. The esthetics of the place created a relaxed and chill vibe. We liked the location because its about 5 blocks from the main touristy streets, so we had more of a local vibe yet walkng distance to all shopping and food options. All the staff members were friendly and helpful! The bikes they have there to rent are nice. There is no coffee machine or coffee in the rooms so I got instant mocha/coffee packets from the market behind the hotel and then just used the hot water button on their water filtration system in the lobby to make my coffee. But you can also use real coffee and the coffee machine in the community kitchen. Our room had an air-conditioner in it that worked well, a safe and the bed was comfortable and clean. There is no t.v. in the room, which we preferred anyway. The internet worked well for us the whole time and the pool was so nice to cool off in, in the evenings. We enjoyed our stay and will be back again!

Although we bookec for Caliza Hotel, we were put in the sister hotel Cielieto, after being contacted by the manager. The communication from staff was outstanding, who could not do enough to help. The room was amazingly decorated and boutique hotel is definitely the best way to describe it. Our room was on the top floor with a small rooftop pool next to it. The rooms were cleaned every day to a great standard. The room also has a fridge. There is an amazing big supermarket not far and the ADO bus station is 10 to 15 minutes walk away. All the resraurants and bars are 5 to 10 minutes walk away. The room also had TV streaming. I loved taking showers in the great bathroom. The balcony had a swing chair. Bike and scooter hire nearby and so is a serviced laundrette.

The hotel is next to a busy road, which is also an advantage as we were able to get anywhere easily with our hired scooter.

We liked the location which was close to the main shopping, restaurant, and bar area. The air conditioning in the room was great. We had a balcony, unfortunately it looked straight at a wall, but it was really useful for drying swimwear / towels. The staff were very friendly, and the pool area is nice.

We asked for a twin room. There were two single beds, but they were attached via double sheets so was essentially a big double bed. We made do, but it was disappointing as we booked a twin room as two friends travelling together. wifi worked on the whole, but dropped out a couple of times in the room. There was an old banana in our fridge!

the location of the hotel is great, you can rent bikes for 100 pesos for 12 hours to explore the area, the terrace and the pool area is very nice and beautiful, the employees are very nice and helpful, beautiful decorations and excellent room service (special thanks to our camarista Nalla!), free water at the entrance to fill your bottle

the kitchen is very small and very poorly equipped, so cooking for yourself is not that enjoyable, hope the hotel can upgrade the kitchen!

great spacious rooms, comfortable beds and clean bathroom. I loved the rooftop terrace. Location was good, not close to noisy bars and everything in walking distance. Kind and helpful staff. Fridge in the room. You can fill your water bottle for free.

My balcony faced a wall, so I didn’t have much sunlight. But at least it didn’t face the street as I am a light sleeper. No furniture on the balcony. I had to ask for toiletries and a safe deposit box - and then got them.

Water in the shower is not hot enough almost coldish Not enough towels. I had two only, when they cleaned the room they only gave me one clean towel so had to ask for at least one more. No soap to wash your hands

The rooftop pool is fabulous, the staff kind, the location ideal, the room comfortable. This was a great stay. I’ve paid twice as much for similar places in Tulum. This is a gem! I saw they had bikes for rent, but didn’t try them out. We did rent towels for the beach and they were great. we also made our own coffee in the shared kitchen downstairs, a great little amenity. Cant wait to go back!

There is some street noise as it’s located off a downtown street. The staff mentioned it before our arrival and we knew to expect that. Staff also provided us complimentary earplugs when we asked for them at the front desk.

In a quieter side of town so no noise from clubs/parties. the pool and rooftop are lovely. The room was clean and serviced every day. Water cooler in the lobby to refill your bottle. favourite place I’ve stayed in Tulum.

noise from the road outside but I think that’s probably everywhere in Tulum.

Very nice hotel room, everyday cleaning, everyday clean towels, that was outstanding! Fresh fruit market 50m from the hotel. Nice pool, nice staff, bikes for rent at the reception desk.

Shared kitchen was dirty and poorly equipped, only advantage of it was that it existed.
